This is so cool! Coming from someone who doesn't really drink, it's awesome to have an option to feel like you're partaking while not actually drinking any alcohol. This is amazing for social situations especially :)
Tried the Ritual zero alcohol Tequila at an event and to me it tastes nothing like tequila and only like intensely burning green pepper and cayenne with a side of smoke. Left me coughing and with my throat painfully burning for 20 minutes. And that was mixed with about 1/3 Ritual tequila and 2/3 margarita mix. Gave it to my boyfriend and a few friends and they also thought it tasted nothing like tequila and more like just adding straight up hot sauce to a drink. Nothing like the clean, smooth flavor of for example silver Patron or any good tequila blanco.
I'm 18 weeks pregnant and missing the taste of tequila. Also, as pregnant women are part of their target audience and it's widely known that spicy food creates intense heartburn for pregnant women, why oh why would they make it so spicy instead of keeping it smooth and clean so pregnant women can drink it? Seems like a very strange flavor choice that kind of defies the whole purpose of a drink marketed to pregnant women.

Ritual is actually super clear on the fact that these don't taste great straight-up-they're mixers for your mixers, basically. I've tried their whiskey, gin, and rum alternatives, and on its own the whiskey alternative tastes like a bouquet of weird herbs.
@@JennFrank exactly. Didn't know this when I first tried them. Neat, they're god awful. Although as a mixer in cocktails they're not bad.
