What a beautiful tribute to Albert. Our fur babies are part of our family and the loss is heartbreaking. Albert was amazing and had a beautiful life with you, your husband, Linus, and Cornelius. You gave him so much love and Albert returned it.

First of all, bless you for taking in an elderly special needs dog. He seemed to live a very happy life with you so, that should give you comfort. Secondly, do not apologize for your grief. My dog, Belle, died December 2021 from heart disease and I still grieve her, not as hard as at first, but in a different way. A dog is such an integral part of our family and losing them is NOT easy. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. I wish you peace.

Don’t ever let someone tell you it’s just a dog. I truly believe they are God’s greatest gifts to us to help us through this difficult life. I have a rescued staffy and pitbull and 3 horses and they’re my everything. ❤ I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the pain that you’re going through. ❤️🩹 Hold onto the beautiful memories until he meets you at heaven’s gate one day to welcome you home 🕊️💫✨

Garrett, to be honest ,quite often I watched your videos hoping Albert would pop in and visit. He cheered me.What a fabulous little gentleman he was! So sweet and dearly loved. Hugs to you and your family Sweetheart.

I can’t believe 9 months has gone by since we lost Albert, and then losing Linus suddenly in April has been very hard. Not a day goes by we don’t think of them.

Never apologize for sharing your grief. Albert was cool. Sadly, I lost my 121/2 yo Cockapoo, Ollie Pup in June, and our 16 yo “formerly feral” cat, Charlie, on October 1st. Both died in my arms, although we were on our way “home” with Ollie, 500 yds away. Thank you for sharing, I have 3 “boyZ in boxes”. And know where you are. Thanks for being genuine. R/ Monica

My heart hurts for you, your husband, Linus and Cornelius. I've been following you for more than a year now, and I loved when Albert would be part of your video. He was a sweet pup, and deserved to be live out his life with all of you, in a warm and loving home, where he was not only taken care of, but where he was a cherished family member. God bless you for opening your hearts and home to him. He was not just a dog, he was a member of your family, whether or not he walked on 2 legs or 4. Your love was a gift, and one he gave in return.
Albert did a wonderful job of supporting the two of you emotionally. He gets an A plus. Life well lived!
So sorry for your loss. It's difficult to lose a furry member of the family. We had this happen too so this comes from a place of understanding. Pets make people better because they bring out the love and nurturing that isn't acceptable in this rat race type world we live in now. We need them because they love us unconditionally and we learn to love them back. Our Nikki was a miracle dog too. She was diagnosed to pass at 2, then at 4, 6,9 our vet gave up predictions, she lived to 12. Our heart goes out to you & family.

Pets are family, and it's heartbreaking to lose them. Grieving isn't easy, but move through it at your own pace. You were so kindhearted to take him in, give him a chance to enjoy his end of life.

Albert was such a Trooper and he stole so many hearts. He was lucky to have you and your husband to share what was to become most likely the best years of his life as far as comfort and care and love! I had to help my dog who rescued me and then my cat who did the same to cross over. I still feel like I see them out of the corner of my eye. I still have my other sweeties who happen to be a dog and a cat. Animals are so full of love and trust. Thank you for being who you were for Albert. Much love being sent to you and your entire little family.
I am so sorry to hear this news. It is so hard to lose a furry family member. I lost my little rescue kitty 2 years ago, and I so desperately wish that he could have been at home with me when he passed. My heart is still broken. I don’t know your channel it popped up on my feed. I listened to your beautiful story of how you adopted your precious dog. You and your husband are wonderful humans with big hearts. I am so sorry for your loss. You gave him a beautiful chance for more of life. Don’t feel bad for getting emotional. Our animals are so loving and loyal losing them is sometimes harder. I still miss my childhood dog and think of her often and it has been forty years. Grateful your loved one had a peaceful passing, he is at the Rainbow bridge where he can see and romp and play. I have two Shih Tzu’s - one deaf and blind at 14 who is full of life and we love. The other at 11 is still going strong and we love as much. I can’t even imagine when the day comes we lose them. Dear Garrett and husband...I am so sorry to hear about Albert. I’ve had a busy few weeks and didn’t realize Albert had passed away. I’m crying my eyes out right now. His brave little self always gave me a lift and a wonderful feeling. Garrett, you NEVER have to apologize for loving a pet as a member of your family. A loss of a pet rips out hearts just like the loss of a sibling, aunt/uncle, or any other family member. And, don't apologize for ANYTHING - not sharing his passing sooner, your filming location, etc. Albert was loved by us as well, and anyone that can't understand the depth of your loss has never experienced such a devastating loss.
