Also these CT 70 continue to go up in value. Have fun with her, take care of her and she will go up in value. Facts. Great job Ken and crew.

Ah, the unmistakable sound of a Honda Trail 70. A lot of my friends had them back in '69-'72. Back then I think they went for $300 roughly. Mom wouldn't let me have one but she bought my little sister a horse. Go figure. In my 40's I bought two of them and had them worked on and made to look like new. Making up for a part of my childhood I suppose. They were a '72 and a '70 I think. One green, one blue. Big fun. In my 60's now; I wish I held on to them. I've had Harleys and never lost my appreciation for bikes but I think every kid in the late 1960's and early 1970's wanted one of these. The Trail 70 is to big street bikes what a .22 rifle is to AR-15's. Just a lot of fun. Thanks for a great video and a trip down memory lane.

That was my first bike after the mini bikes. Same color but mine was a year or two newer with the 4 speed clutch. Wish I still had it, worth big $. Great bikes. Really can take a beating.

My first 2 bikes were ct-70's, back in 1992 when I was 6 years old my neighbour gave them to me. I haven't got off bikes since. I absolutely loved flying around on those beasts!

Honda needs to bring this one back. I know they have the 125, but I mean this model in particular. They made it bigger when the CT90 rolled out, I think.

Love it.. such nostalgia there.. I remember these and the mini trails..rode them but I wound up with a JT60 Mini Enduro Yamaha.. then an early YZ 80.. the silver and red one. Don’t know the year..74 or 75 maybe. I’m blown away why these things are worth now

The first bike I rode besides a pull start mini. They were great bikes on the trails and fields along with street. Gave me my first major burn to the inside of my thigh after laying it over-not great traction on wet grass in a turn

The crazy priced ones sold at auctions are usually bought for charities for high dollar tax write-off. Not to be confused with the going rate.

Though beautiful, it's not correct. The aluminum polishing really takes away the vintage look. It's more of a restored custom VS original. I have the same color and year bike but it's 100% original. The odometer reads 680. It's far from perfect but it's absolutely unmolested. Just the way it was when it rolled off the assembly line. She lives with many happy sister CT70's and Z50 cousins from the same era.................
