I was watching saying to myself, "Yeah, you'll never get that seatbelt on with his mask on." Because I remember being 8 and playing with it. Incredible toy. Cheers for the nostalgia 👍
I had one of these when I was little in the mid 90's. I used to have so many neat toys from the 80's that ended up in thrift stores during my childhood. I wish i still had them all.
Amazing how well the toy held up. I remember when I had mine and, after just a few years, the "stripes" were fading and the wheels would flop around if you lifted Raven because of playing "Back to the Future" with it.
😍😍😍 Childhood Memories...Thank you for this. Raven was my Favorite...because he had the K.I.T.T.Style 😄 we had some Missions together in the Bathtub. Much love from Germany and stay healthy.
Listening to the hard plastic squeak and make all that noise while fiddling with this car makes me wonder how ANY of this stuff survived! Glad they made it durable enough to be played with.
Still got this minus a door, other door won't stay on lol, however Burns hasn't aged a day. This was the second MASK vehicle and one of the best, the first I had was Piranha
I sold a complete Raven (both discs, clean, good stickers, no scratches) on eBay like 10 years ago for $40. I wasn't nostalgia-geeking on M.A.S.K. at the time and it was childhood toy. Boy do I wish I had it back. I'd pay double.
Funny to realise how many toys I completely forget having as a kid. Out of the M.A.S.K toys I only remember having Jackhammer, Raven and Rhino. Looking at your vids reminds me I also had Condor, Firefly, Pirhana, Bullet and Vampire. I guess those just weren't good enough to be memorable. Thanks for bringing back a few long forgotten memories!
Ah, love the MASK toys. Almost as much as Transformers. Had quite a few of them. Thunderhawk, Condor, Raven, Stinger, Switchblade, Manta, Firecracker, Gator, Split Second, Pirahna, Jackhammer, Rhino, Bulldog..among others.
Did you know that the names of 'Raven' and 'Manta' were (for some reason) switched? Vanessa Warfield's car flies, and she has pet ravens, whereas this car is water based, so should have been called Manta. Similar errors happened with 4LOM and Zuckuss from StarWars, and the character bios of Sunstreaker and Sideswipe from The Transformers. Regarding Calhoun's helmet, I assume it can alter the size of things, given the name 'Gulliver'. Better than calling it 'Brobdingnag'!
My favourite toy as a kid ! Dont even know what hapoened to it or any of my toys just gone ... no doubt as a twat teenager i gave it away or worse threw it away ...wounded
Much appreciate your M.A.S.K. reviews! I had just over half of them when I was a tike. The great thing about these (and why you can still find them usually complete on the aftermarket) was that they were made so well. Top quality plastic that stood up to loads of abuse by kids. You really had to try to break them (which I did with my Thunderhawk several times).
Rikardo Kbrera I just finished watching all the m.a.s.k episodes yesterday and raven was only in a few episodes. The corvette is one the coolest looking mask toys.
Had this as a kid and buried it at the beach in sand and then couldn't find it, just a few days ago tho I found a guy selling a load of these out of box. So now I have this back again plus 5 more I never had. Great reviews keep em coming.
GREAT. Helped me a lot for preparing it for my MOVE project. . You would certainly like my MASK toy-photography project. If you want to know more about it, let me know :-) :-)
I got Thunderhawk Jackhammer Raven Stinger T-Bob Condor All came with the matching figure, only two didn't have the mask but at least all are in working order.
Ah yes, the Knight Rider ripoff. I had this, got it for my birthday from some Aunt and Uncle who apparently didn't know me at all. I was so mad not to get a Transformers which collected vehemently. For Mask it's not the worst toy, but like all Mask toys, it's a bad U.S. attempt to replicate what Japan did with Transformers- meaning they Transform, but not in any great way, just from one vehicle to another. Also it bothers me that if you tried to take this thing on water, rather than hydrofoiling the gull wings would just cause water to get in the backseat. It's not the worst toy, and in like, 1979 or so would have been incredible- certainly isn't as lame as say Rhino vs. Optimus Prime (seriously, which would you want?) but I could have done without almost all U.S. attempts at toymaking at the time when it was never gonna come close to Japan.
you should raise both of his arms to make him seat properly and also enable him to use the seat belt easily. nice review...and also one of my favorite MASK vehicle in the series.
Blade Runner?! More like Back to the Future II! The wheels fold down just like the flying cars (and DeLorean) in that movie! And that's a Corvette, not a Trans Am! Nothing like KITT, heh.

This was my favorite toy as kid thanks for posting this
Mask toys are so cool. I spent many happy hours playing with them, a shame toys aren’t like this nowadays.

I had this one when I was a kid and it was great to have
I had this as a child. I'd love to have it back
Great Video!!! I loved playing with Raven :) The popping up Boosters were the Best! Played Knight Rider with it so no Driver was needed, lol ...
some of the best toys were made between 1982-1986. All die cast metal, no cheap parts and so much detail.
Thank you for this. Trip down memory lane. Loved my Raven car, my favourite of all the MASK vehicles.
Still got this minus a door, other door won't stay on lol, however Burns hasn't aged a day. This was the second MASK vehicle and one of the best, the first I had was Piranha

mgvillanmp478 Thanks mate
my first toy, my best toy for ever
😇
Thx
Bringing back some vivid memories
Glad your enjoying them, quite a few to come!
One of the best overall MASK vehicles, seatbelts aside.
Thanks for vid...forgot i had this.
Coolest car they had
Same here, I've always had a soft spot for that design.
I love his car
By the way, the attack mode is intended to be a seaplane.
back when i was a kid, this has always been KITT to me^^ and even calhoun burns looked a little like michael knight xD
Had to be in time capsule one of those... haha
My Brother good this. Still looks amazing.
I've got one of these
got it mate! thanks! :D
my toy!!
COOL! i want this one :D

This never occurred to me.
Interesting!
It was called "Gulliver" because he'd use it to shrink, as a nod to "Gulliver's Travels" I imagine. He couldn't use it to grow bigger, though.
this was my first mask car
Mine too, still got it, doors came off though
This car supposed to be a Christmas gift, but I find it before the Christmas day and I play with it. Memories from the 80's.
My favourite toy as a kid ! Dont even know what hapoened to it or any of my toys just gone ... no doubt as a twat teenager i gave it away or worse threw it away ...wounded
cool, which ones did you get?

Early 80's Chevy Corvette. Wanting to say '83 to I'm not sure when.
His Gulliver mask allows him to shrink objects.
When he finish to put The security belt
V.E.N.O.M. Win The battle.😂😂😂😂😂
Reminiscing K.I.T.T.
You know what they say about a guy with a small sports car.....
He's probably a M.A.S.K. agent!
Rikardo Kbrera I just finished watching all the m.a.s.k episodes yesterday and raven was only in a few episodes. The corvette is one the coolest looking mask toys.

a bit late to reply, but if i remember it right, the trick was the put an arm over the belt to get it to fit right.
Raven in style, Corvette C4. the quint essential 80s American sportscar.
he got the disk
where to find these toys? i am so missed them...
+actionjackman This is actually KITT from Knight Rider.
Bosco Cheng KITT was a Pontiac Firebird and Raven here is based on the C4 Corvette. But there is certainly a Knight Rider influence in this.
This isn't kit nore based on kit nore do I see a influence beyond its black.
2:20 oh my god, stoooop!
Raven is a seaplane. Not a submarine!!!
It's way easier, if you feed the seatbelt under the inner arm and over the body.
I had one too, and like you, anything that reminded me of Knight Rider was awesome haha!
Yes...🥳
Streethawk was cool, too.
Back in the Days...my Mountainbike and me...😎😉
ebay mate, there's lots to be found
I got Thunderhawk
Jackhammer
Raven
Stinger
T-Bob
Condor
All came with the matching figure, only two didn't have the mask but at least all are in working order.
I love two disks you know what I mean

Corvette
4:03 Men in Black reference.
I have this when my dad was a kid
you should raise both of his arms to make him seat properly and also enable him to use the seat belt easily. nice review...and also one of my favorite MASK vehicle in the series.
Dyantoko Pratomo Thanks mate
i dont think its ever in the cartoon
Wan Aznan s1ep49
it's an 80's car with a Late 90's and Early 2000's Techno Style.
Edit: the style reminds of Batman Beyond Batmobile according to the colors.
sausage fingers
Your big arse fingers haha! Kids have small hands :)
Blade Runner?! More like Back to the Future II! The wheels fold down just like the flying cars (and DeLorean) in that movie!
