The Ableton Push uses ADAT not Spidif just to correct the statement! Digital protocol as well!
Let me be the I love this podcast button
Luna is underrated
If ain't STUDIO ONE, ya studios BUNS 🍑 S1 Gang
People sleeping on cakewalk
Studio One 💯
Yessir!!!
Here we are again. Studio One users here, waiting for you to come experience the truth. Don’t rush, we’re confident you’ll find your way.
Yessir!
Agreed!
Cubase for me..steinberg technology been ahead since conception! Thats why everyone adopted 32 bit float" steinberg was doing that 1st
Yall showing love to Reaper in the thumbnail says a lot. Thank you!!!!!
Edit: I'm Ichigo Kurosaki, the Shiniganmi of Reaper, mwahahahahaha
We (Reaper gang) get waaaay more love in the mixing/mastering community than in the producing/beatmaking community.
@@nilespeshay1734 Man say!!!!!
REAPER GANG til my casket drops!
REAPER IS OUT OF THIS WORLD
☝🏾
The push 3 has a built in interface, computer, and really nice mpe capable pads. I doubt they could’ve made it for much less than 2k. Still not worth it imo and I’m a huge user of ableton and have a push2. My biggest gripe about push3 is it only comes with the lite version of ableton which is something they should fix immediately. You pay 2 grand for a standalone music device and it locks you down to like 16 tracks. That’s wild.
If you guys can just dig into Cubase 12pro or Nuendo 12pro from Steinberg and mix and master in it you will never see any other daw that even comes close.
All of this!!!
Studio one and atom sq 🔥🔥
The SQ has sped up my workflow tremendously
I’m Telling You Logic Is Like Introverted Shy Kid In the Classroom “When Someone’s Force him to Perform infront of Class , Everyone get Left having Jaw Dropping Reaction after Seeing His Performance“ 😂😂😂
We’ll said !! I ain’t a killer but don’t push me !! Lol
FL Buddy - him comparing the Caribbean countries was cool. I understand the need to remain PC - but we shouldn’t censor things like that. If anybody can talk about the Caribbean, it’s our own people. Great podcast. Great build. I’ll see you all on the show in a couple of years to defend and praise the Reaper DAW
Logic is gonna be crazy if they make it compatible with the apple vision pro, using a daw in vr would be cool if the set it up well
honestly guys Studio one in Theeee Goat !!!
yo! Studio one is crazy! I’m normally ableton or pro tools but Studio one is the future
Facts 💯
Reaper, hands down. wait till people discover Reaper's full power, everything else will look like toys.
...10 years logic x user, tried cubase 12 ,pro tools ,abeton and st1..still on logic, its just amazing for me....regards
Studio One!!
FL for production. Logic for recording, mixing, mastering
As an FL user, I agree lol
As a logic user, I’ll allow it. We’re coming for the top production spot one day though 😂
@@AVDRE bet 🙌🏼
@@thekidcalledBLACK haha facts one day we will reign supreme 😂
Love what u guys are doing. Always dropping that knowledge 👌🏻
I'm studio one user that came from pro tools. I use maschine also everyday. I think the problem of LJ's argument is FL, mpc, maschine, and ableton have unique workflow things about them. Where pro tools, logic and even studio one kinda are typical daws where you mix through a standard mixer with plug ins. So their products S1, fader port, etc.. Are things that can be used in something else but have less feature integration in something other than their home DAW. Even maschine and mpc can be a controller in something else. Most companies aren't making one daw only products
Fl and Maschine for beats and Cubase/Nuendo for recording and mixing
Studio One for life 💯 I use Studio One 6.5 🔥
Wowwwwww ok le me take some of my time to give you some education time kids Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 it’s a Caribbean Island 🏝️ 100x35 surrounded by El Mar Caribe (Caribbean Sea) and we’re leading the music industry right Now in all sense of the word Facts! So we’re Avid owning Protools !! 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🏝️ and I charge for lessons but Devon has help me a lot so I’ll give you this one for free !!
Avid S1 and Eucon tech is unbelievably amazing 🎉
Fl studio/reaper for me.
Reaper is underrated and reasonable
I swear sometimes I feel I’m the only person who produces and mixes on reaper 😭 one of the more easier interfaces to learn how to operate in my opinion
Reaper is undefeated for mixing. 🤙🏽
i am a reaper evangelist through and through and i have to admit that reaper is NOT underrated lol. there are so many reaper fanatics out there it evens out
@@giddycadet Reaper is nowhere near as popular in the beatmaking community on the internet, I always come across people who've never heard of Reaper.
also L Jean right about the Mbox thing. the Push is an example of hardware created specifically for a DAW that won’t work elsewhere, while on the other hand I could use an Mbox in whatever DAW I want
Respectfully your wrong! you ever seen a family don't live with each other anymore after they grew up but they will kill you if you send a threat and pull up no matter what... that's Pro tools & Avid!! Thats Blood Related! they evolved and need to make money how ever it works!! welcome to modern times
Hes completely right and I ain’t just hating cuz I’m a Logic User
I started on logic, have used Studio one for years, tried Ableton and Bitwig, and recently forced myself to use Pro Tools for a couple months without using anything else. I made a note in my phone with the shortcuts and really tried to dive into Pro Tools, but I still think the production and even some of the mixing workflow is slower than almost every DAW. Example: Sending tracks to a bus in pro tools- create new track, select aux, route every track you want to the bus you made by selecting it individually on the output of each track. In Studio One you just highlight the tracks and right click, create bus, and everything is already routed to the bus. I also just prefer the drag and drop nature of Studio one and Ableton.
Gotta go template searching to make your workflow easier. I’ve been on PT12 HD for the past 3 years and haven’t look back.
@@hundeaux Yeah I did set up some templates, I just think it's nice in S1 or other daws that I can be producing and then start setting up busses and stuff without having to click on the individual tracks and send them to the bus. There's other things , but that is just the easiest example of how protools takes an extra step.
It is the industry standard so I don't hate on anyone for using it though. That's why I was forcing myself to learn it. I've been using DAWs for like 10 years, so this was just my opinion after a couple months with it. I also think the $30 a month version should be a little cheaper. That's kind of a lot if they're gonna pretty much force people to subscribe to use it.
@@aaronwhitmanmusic I might have to do some experimenting with that. I’ll admit routing on PT is a pain
@@aaronwhitmanmusic I have Pro Tools 12 HD and I tried the latest version but switched back after 2 months, they’re literally the same. I’m not paying $30 a month for a handful of extra useless plugin.
Yo... Much thanks & blessings for the shoutout to Trinidad 🇹🇹 Reason users for which I am one... Love the caribbean analogies as well... Even though I also use Ableton for live gigs & Logic for recording vocals; Reason Studios is still my main daw for music production, recording, mixing & mastering. The best thing for me with Reason is it's analog sound as default & how easy it is to configure the racks... Love your channel bro & the tutorials you bring that helps me a lot with understanding the whole mixing/mastering process... Much love from Trinidad & Tobago 🙏🏾🔥🌴🇹🇹💯💖
Puerto Rico is actually in the Caribbean, its right next to DR
Everybody is using splice, arcade and 3rd party plugins anyway. It all comes down to workflow and earskill. I've used Cubase, Reason, Reaper, Logic, Bitwig, FL, and is currently using Ableton. I love them all. Loopy pro on iPad is ill too!
Reaper+Reason💪 and Bitwig 4 Fun🎉.
STD1 user From malawi Africa...i never miss an epsode Yall guys are fire
PRESONUS HARDWARE GANG!
Good episode! That topic dragged but the conversation is fire 🔥 *(edit: longer episode 😤)* 20:10
Studio One. For. Well everything lol
We still need a logic guy. Lol
I love this podcast never stop!
☮💙☮
After 13 y on Fruity Loops I moved to Studio One back at 2016. Im with SO 6 Pro now, you guys dont know what you are missing :)
Tell'em
IF SO hasn't improved in plugin workload like REAPER, don't talk to me about SO 6 Pro. IJS ;-)
@@TheReal_E.IRIZARRY OK :)
Cubase 12
I have Logic Pro X but if I were to switch it would be Cubase
@@luvitluvitbaby I have a couple of daws. But not protools and logic. Cubase is still my favorite. I know it the best. And That what is most important I think.
Cubase is so pro standard that most daws don't even come close, I recently discovered neundo still from Steinberg, this guys are genius creating cubase and nuendo 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Push 3 (standalone) -> $1999 / Push 3 -> $999. - I have the Push 2 (Love it) and I also use Studio One and AKAI.
How does the Push work with Studio One? I use the Atom SQ and love how its integrated but when I tried to use it with Ableton it wasn't as fluid.
@@LAMAKMUSIC I love my atom sq so much. Wish the screen was bigger so there wasn’t so many pages and pads were improved. Amazing controller for studio one near Ableton push quality.
@@LAMAKMUSIC I use the Atom and SQ with Studio One................. I use the Push 2 only with Ableton. I just mentioned Studio One cause they always saying its Trash (%$#$##^%). Pro-Tools is very overrated. $$$$$$ 🤢. FL, AKAI MPC, MASCHINE, STUDIO ONE AND ABLETON GANG. 🤣😂 and for Mastering use Wavelab by Steinberg🤫
My favorite podcast at the moment.
The Haiti and DR analogy cracked me up. You nailed it bro.
Loved this whole conversation 🤍
I started with garabeband and then FL studio. Now I expanded my mind and I use all three efficient enough. That's all that matters. Learn the basics of how they work and you'll realize it's all the same
LUNA! Underrated. The best for mixing and mastering
Reaper is the GOAT of DAWs.
Post production and mixing Nuendo
Wavelab Mastering
MPC One production
omg the ending, the comparisons to caribean islands was so hilarious xD LMAO hahahahhahaa😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ya man, i think avids hardware os the best, the dock and s1 are awesome, well built and look really good on desk. Just my opinion. Its better all around than say a faderport or x touch
Maschine you can use other hardware on it but obviously works better with the hardware meant for it , Im not sure if it Works with all types but all the ones I’ve used worked
Curious to hear y’all thoughts on the new Serato Studio DAW.
We need a FOSS that supports all plugin formats and compatible with every OS
fl studio for production, pro tools for mixing. pro tools sounds more open and wide than other daws
I prefer MOTU over Digidesign/Avid or Presonus. Just curious,, why does MOTU never get any love? Their audio interfaces have always been fire, and Digital Performer is a fire DAW as well.
Mixcraft 10 is HERE!!!!
Logic Pro is the best hands down!
The digidesign Mbox’s were Protools specific
I'm still stuck on the Se7en movie "What's in the box?" Answer: the SP1200, my boi. That RX1200 gives me goosebumps.
y'all should get jah-d on this show. he produces reggae entirely in protools. Youll love to have him on here to share his process.
The akai fire went up in price i bought it when it first dropped it was $99
I understand what LJ saying example Maschine is specific to Native Instruments just like Push is specific to Abelton
When devvon did the sky jordan reenactment😂😂😂😭
I'm on Cubase
Hi, i love this podcast, it would be interesante an episode about HOW can you make a song without losing the feelings during the process, ayps 💪💪
Abelton Astronauts we out here!!!! Courtney is the Abelton Abbott.
Reason Production, Studio One everything else, (record in Pro Tools every now and again, thinking bout going back to her😆)
So glad yall left the carribean shit in there. Shit was funny ash
😊 What up Devvon i love to hear yall man.
My guy LJ said he stumbled and sounded like he was trying to spell a long word🤣🤣🤣🤣
Levins gave maschine some props had to come back and edit
The FL guy went crazy with the Haiti analogy😂😂😂😂
Love this podcast
Let me the “I wish this podcast was longer button”
MBox is def pro tools even down to looking at the color they used to make the Maudio box was the same colors as the pro tools icon…

Ableton! all day!!! Push 3 and Drift
Hey. What u think about the Xvox plugin?
Cubase 13 pro
i started using fl studio when i lived in haiti lmfao, still use it 10 years later
Pam Lan!
The only correct answer:
Whichever one speaks to you and the way you work.
We can debate features and workflow and all that, but the truth is the “best” is the one that allows you to be most productive.
I see a DAW as a “language” so to speak, and the beat will be the one that speaks your language.
Studio One is the caribbean"!!!
I love Reaper. I. Could live another 50 years and never get a grasp of all of it's functionality
What????? Puerto Rico is definitively a Caribbean island. Its literally right next to DR and Haiti. We are literally your neighbors .
Puerto rico not a Caribbean island is crazy 😂😂😂😂 25:28
Fl for producing pro tools for literally everything else. Speaking of hardware I use the artist mix which is really cool.
But I'm with you Devon it's AVID pro tools LoL
My artist mix is made by avid but it's for PRO TOOLS 😂💯
This video is fire
Any Logic users use logic for iPad yet ? Thoughts ?
🔥🔥
How can I find LJ’s music? Tune me in to the Guru please 🤝
The Best🔥🔥
YALL SLEEP, STUDIO ONE WITH A FADER PORT v2/8/16 AND ATOM SQ KILLING EVERYTHING…
its called AVID PROTOOLS CARBON!
Cubase 🔥🔥🔥
Courtney will probably understand this the most cuz I think he said he video edits too... I wonder if fairlight audio inside of DaVinci Resolve will ever catch on as a DAW 🤔 as an artist and engineer I can definitely confirm that it's capable of a lot. (I've used it once or twice and it seems okay but I'm an exclusive FL studio user tho so shout out LJ) but The fairlight company does make some high-end gear and people overseas use it a lot I hear. And with DaVinci resolve being arguably the most powerful free software ever created due to it being the best video editor, and including 3D software free, plus the fairlight daw... Do you think they could take over the world someday? 😂 Fr tho... Imagine producing the instrumental, recording everything audio, editing your album cover art, editing music video and audio visualizers and 3D all within one software. You can already do that with it now plus it loads all my vsts perfectly fine. I'll never leave FL but I swear the potential is there for Fairlight lol
Oh and...Shout out Fruity limiter, sound goodizer, mixcraft, Behringer and cla vocals 🤣🤣🤣🤦jk
LOL the Devons' timer spotted 😂
