His writings help me when I needed to overcome anxiety, panic attacks and fear. I realized now how fear, insecurities held me back for many years. Today I had some bad news. As an (inspiring) artist this news will challenge my future. I saw this news coming from miles away. And for a while, I was desperate. Seeing dreams disappear in thin air. But this is all fear like you guys are saying, Just keeping up the courage to keep dreaming, making art. Even if no one sees or gets it. I'm still an artist. I saw you with your sketchbook working so freely. I haven't made art like that sinds childhood. This will be my new goal. Finding back my fearless art. Thank you with all my heart ♡

this video has opened my eyes a lot... helped me see ways to use all those art supplies I've been buying lately but never used for fear, or the lack on inspiration, ideas, etc. I've never been good at drawing or painting, as in never know what to do with the stuff. I just think I'm not good enough, I don't know what to paint or draw... but the mix media you used in those illustrations really inspired me :) thank you.

In 2022 I decided to let my bullet journal be a place to capture my thoughts, feelings, draw. I told myself I’d rather capture 50% of the year than 0% so I didn’t beat myself up or abandon if I missed some time + I was actually super consistent once I gave myself this permission + flexibility. I did skip an entire month when I was having an exceptionally hard time but other than that most of my year is captured and I’m so grateful! Excited to keep up with your journey 🥰✨📖
I had to re-watch this video when I got home from doing errands. You certainly inspire others by not only sharing your life/talent but for sharing encouraging words/ beautiful poetry. I am a great admirer of anyone who can create art as well as write poetry. I love your new decorated sketch book and how you are experimenting with different mediums. The bird and flowers have that three dimensional look with the different textures. It really is beautiful. I did look at the book your recommended today at Powells. It really is a lovely book. I did not buy it but got some wonderful inspiration from just looking at the quotes. Thank you for the recommendation. Fear is something we all have to deal with in some form or another. Very thought provoking, very meaningful and so true that fear will always be a factor in a human’s life. When fear enters my heart, it takes a few moments but I realize that God will get me through this new situation. He is so faithful to us even when we are not faithful ourselves. What is ‘ to be a better artist’? If one is an artist at all, then better only comes from deep within. If one thinks it has to do with the work itself, then its called, trying to impress others with a talent. One needs to flow with spiritual freedom for the self, not others.
You might appreciate a book I found back in about 1994. It's titled "Art and Fear." I really thought it had some good ideas. Well, I loaned it out and it wasn't returned. I've thought about trying to get it back, but perhaps this artist friend of mine needed that book. Maybe even more than I did. Anyway, just thought I would tell you there is such a book :) Amazon has it in several forms.

Thanks for letting me know! It is actually a lot more complicated than people think in the editing process to nail it down perfectly, as it can sound differently from one persons device to another. I will continue to try to perfect it, but I probably won't be able to please everyone. There is also auto-generated Closed Captions which can be an option if one would like subtitles.
In the meantime Randi ☺. Keep on keeping on. Your current work may just be enough, its beautiful. But yes open your mind and heart to keep on learning and exploring. Love & Peace xx
