  • In order to keep his recent promise to imagine closing in two other movements the continuation of the first movement of the “Symphonie Elyséene” which appeared during the Great Exhibition of Made in France; the French composer Jean-Christophe MACKPAYEN presents here the second movement of this symphony imagined in a graceful execution. In this masterpiece, an English horn duet and clarinet quartet enter the orchestral garden. The different families of instruments are in a balanced dialogue during which the percussions, in this case the timpani with the horn duo, strongly express their presence when the symphony orchestra broadens its sound spectrum. It is a question here of respect, of coherence between orchestral instrument families. We let you discover this second symphonically artistic painting. Enjoy listening to everyone of this second movement of the “Symphonie Elyséene.
