Becky, you are awesome. Thank you. I just purchased my Meridian two weeks ago, and iI have been transferring designs via USB. When you talked about sending via WiFi (which I know I saw the symbol) I didn't know how to do that in Embrilliance. Now I do thanks to you. Even though it says "send to Solaris" it did send the design to my Meridian. Thanks for all you do!
I downloaded this design and played with it. Shrank a snowman and with the camera placed it perfectly. Thanks for the video Becky. It’s so appreciated.
Of all the you tubers I am subscribed to, your videos seem to be the most knowledgeable and informative. And you are so relate-able... like my sister or my best girlfriend just telling me about your latest project. Love ya!
I have one of the cut and press boards and I love it. I can put it on my cutting table which is a ways from my ironing board because of the way my room is set up. It is nice to have a place to iron small pieces and I can sit to do it now that I have arthritis in my spine. A little break feels good every now and then. I have concrete floors so I put elephant runners all over in my shop where I stand. I like them because my chairs will roll on them too. They are not cheap but they do serve their purpose well. Rambling. Love your ideas. Thanks so much.
I won't embroider now without one. I even take it to classes, which is why mine looks all beat up. lol If it's not in my lap, I feel like something is missing. :-) It's nice to rest your arms on while the stitching is happening too.
Great tutorial, thanks Becky! Still trying to get my head around the embroidery side of my second hand Brother machine, so every little helps. Look forward to the next step! Kind regards from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
When you showed the spool holder a while back, I immediately ordered one!!! I'll be moving soon so it's still in it's box, can't wait to get my new sewing space, hopefully this summer, so I can use it. You are a bad (good) influence on me!
I find during the entire process that getting my threads together can take the most amount of time. Having that all set up when you get to the machine is a boon!
Thanks for the link for the penguin mug rug. Couldn’t find it and love kimberbell and penguins. Also would love to look into embrilliance. I have a Solaris and would love to wi fi designs over to it
You can do that with Embrilliance Essentials which is the basic platform for the software. You do need the paid version for that vs. the demo version. It's less than $150 and worth every penny. I have some very expensive software I can't figure out (DrawWings) so I use Embrilliance all the time for what I call utility needs for embroidery (resizing, printing, saving, color changes, etc.)
I have downloaded the design, just haven’t had time to work on it. Trying to finish a quilt for a great niece booming in March. Thanks for the tutorial. 😉
I don't see it on their website, but they do have the embellishment buttons on there. The lady had told me they had something else planned for the design. Be on the lookout for it in your quilt stores. That's probably where you'll find it.
Do a RUclips search for Lori Holt Fabric Board and a video from Fat Quarter Shop will come up with step by step directions. They are soooo helpful! You will love it.
Becky, you aren't supposed to pull the thread back through the machine as it can pull lint back through the disks. Cut the thread at the spool and pull the piece of thread down through the needle.
Right, I never pull the thread back through the machine the opposite direction for just that reason. At 10:57 in the video, you can see I pull the thread in the direction of the arrows and you can hear it come out of the tension disks. It was already out of the needle when I removed it. Thanks for watching!
@@ellenhofer3343 Totally understand. Sometimes I get to going too fast and our eyes can't keep up! lol But I completely appreciate an extra set of eyes here and there to keep me straight. You guys catch things I sometimes miss (like a big gap in a binding - yikes!). I appreciate you!

Have you purchased the clip hanger for the mini wall hangings? Where if you have?
awesome thank you
Thanks
I guess part 2 is tomorrow
I downloaded my files but didn't see the instruction sheet. Whoops! Is there anyway I can get the instruction sheets only? Anyone?
Email me at powertoolswiththread@outlook.com and I will send them to you.
I know the design isn’t free anymore but is it for sale? I just love it. Thanks

Someone has offered me a Brother Quattro 6000D for $1700 on Ebay, should I get it? Thanks, Becky
Does it have any upgrade kits in it? If it has 1 and 2, then yes, it's a great deal. If not, then ask for a discount.
@@PowerToolsWithThread Thanks, Becky I'll check
