@@Replapt yes but i have inbuilt liquid metal form factory in cpu now since it is out of warranty i am thinking about going with krayonaut extreme, how optimal is extreme because cunductonaut lasted for 1.5yr keeping temp constant
Liquid metal can leak onto the motherboard; thermal paste in this regard is safer and not much worse if it is changed every year and reduces processor consumption in the armoury crate. There are before and after tests in the video, you can see for yourself
Yes, pink thermal paste and the laptop does not overheat, since it has a throttling temperature of 96 degrees and it heats up to 90 degrees and higher even on liquid metal out of the box. You can read reddit
@@Replaptmy similar 2022 strix scar g17 i9 cpu has alway ran at about 90-95 even brand new. I had to do some reading too to find out that is “normal” for these laptops.
i had the strix g15 2022, most of the time my max cpu temp always reach 95°c so is that normal ? planning to use ptm7950 though. my rog also had been rma previously so im not sure the technician had properly re-apply the liquid metal or not because my laptop still had warranty
@@KikiDaily09 I have a 2022 g17 which is very similar, my CPU has always ran up to 95 degrees since new. I came here to watch the video because my frames are dropping pretty bad, and I’ve notice my fans aren’t blowing as hot as they used to. I’m pretty sure my thermal paste is cooked.
Brother, how long lasting effect and durable is thermal grizzly extreme as compare to conductonaut, would really love if you could answer
I would recommend updating every year along with cleaning the fans

@@kyzen-i7x A bit late but better use PTM7950 for cpu & gpu and a thermal putty for vram and vrms.
@matiasfrias5429 well pretty late my laptop passed away months ago, used liquid metal
i have ordered k5 pro for vram and vrm chips i own the same laptop is 10g quantity enough to repaste it
I think not
hi, what's the yellow paste name please?
Thermalpads k5 pro
Will the new thermal paste on the VRMs spill onto the motherboard when heatsink is installed back?
It's not THAT liquid to spill all over the motherboard, even if it come out of adges, absolutely nothing wrong or bad will happen😉
good job, let me ask u pls whats that in the yellow injection is it necessary to change with thermal paste ?
Hi, I used K5 PRO, but also can be used, UPSIREN U6 PRO
so it had liquid metal from factory and you put thermal paste ? why you didnt put liquid metal ? is it not worse with paste now ?

Cpu still overheating
nice
nice video👍👍👍, if you get a chance to do for Asus ROG G16 with 4070 or above, please upload
Жалко ptm7950 положили, интересно сравнить с жм на стриксах, то жм вселяет страх УЖАС за судьбу ноута🥺
Там не ptm7950, а термопаста thermal grizzly kryonaut extreme
@Replapt ой, *Не птм
Thermal putty on the gpu and cpu ? The pink stuff isnt thermal putty ? Your system still overheating btw.

проц сгорит
С чего бы ему сгорать? Он под жм работает с такими же температурами, учитывапя что я зарезал его по ватам, то температуры стали еще меньше.
you suffocated chips with the thermal paste! ahahaha
