And when you look at other VR games compared tot his one, you can see why why opted to add full body, We are able to track each limb now given the amazing technology in our grasps in other VR games like VR Chat - and soon in RR to follow. Maybe this is just a indirect side effect, but this also allows them to create more options of clothing and design. This allows RR's Player base that much freedom, and allows RR to make more money while they give us that freedom, which in turn again, helps them fund bigger projects like Quests and further improve RR Studio and the game itself.

For me, it's not about the cosmetic part of it, but more about how it affects rec room's gameplay overall.

i have so many many hours on rec room but im still not level 50 probably because i goof about in my dorm and community rooms a lot when i saw those videos on the rec room channel i thought they looked curse and i would never switch but now seeing all these RUclipsrs show them of im starting to like them! i really hope this turns out well

When you do events on rec room you need to do them differently somehow!!! I am a very upset mother because my son waited for an hour and a half in the game you mentioned, hoping to meet you! He didn't know he had to server hop or look for another player that wasn't you. There were many people there with him, so he thought it was the right place. He waited paitently, unwavering in hope and belief you would show. At 5:30 the room emptied out, but he was still waiting just in case, when another player sporting the pic he took with you aproached him and told him, it was over and that he needed to have been on a particular server. My son is 15 and likes to play things cool. But he is a huge fan. He makes all of his friends watch at least one of your videos. And when it's his turn to pick what we all watch, we seem to invariably start with your newest episodes. So when this meet and greet came up, I knew we had to put it on the calendar. We had errands to run in town today, and I could tell he was worried we wouldn't get home in time, though he so sweetly didn't say anything. I just caught him checking the time. He was so excited when we got home in time. I got the biggest hug and smile, when I told him to run in and get online, that I would empty the car and take care of the critters. It was so hard to overhear him talking with the other player who had met you, to watch him stiffly remove and put away his oculus. He apologised for whiping a tear away, said "I don't know why I am crying. This is so silly of me" I gave him a hug and the bottles for feeding the baby goats that are bottle-babies. Thought some time with thoses silly critters would help chear him up. I am taking a break from evening chores to write this because I am still boiling. Honestly, I am not really so mad as I am disappointed. I honestly don't think you meant to upset anyone. I guess I hope this message gets to you, and you are able to find a way to prevent such misunderstangs in the future.
It looks kind of terrifying, being used to the original and all.. I'm curious what my outfits would look like with this full body avatar update though, not gonna lie. 🤔
@@Tarapeutic I got the beta, surprisingly! I've only tested it on one of my outfits, the eyes and mouth were kinda thrown to the side of my avatar's face, got it fixed though! 😂

I started playing Rec Room at the end of 2019 then created a new acc and deleted the other in 2021 now im lvl 43 cuz i took a Break and im sad that i cant Play with the full body avatars and have to wait😢

Only thing that is probably not great about this change is the discrimination and how divided full body avatars and normal will probably be, I’ve already seen it in rec centers 😭

It's good but funny things are that a few gloves are janked and colors are insanely off, also bounty hunter gloves are insanely broken and funny
