Jiraya attacks with frogs, uses Rasengan and fire attacks and more things in sage mode. The same frog tribe that taught him sage mode later teaches it to Naruto. Since he dies in Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, he isn't updated much.
New stuff for Jiraya: No changes, except they slightly altered his Up Combo with an additional hit after his frog attacks.

Sad how they left Jiraiya forgotten in the later Storm's
He's one of the characters who got a terrible Ultimate in Storm 2 which never got replaced. Not even with the classic one in Generations. Same with Tsunade. Such a disappointment. It's not like Jiraya didn't have potential Ultimates, like that Genjutsu he used against Pain.
I dont like his ultimate jutsu, storm 1 ultimate is so much better and cooler!

I REALLY don't get why Sage Mode Jiraiya isn't used in his Ultimate.
His up combo was unblockable gives a opening when falling for ultimate.
3:38 looks way better than his newer ultimate
All original Ultimates look better than the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Ultimates, and sadly for some characters they never got new ones. Jiraya, Ino and Orochimaru are the worst examples. Their Ultimates look like regular throws.
@@MforMovesets yeah its really dreadful, they literally abandoned the sannin the same way they anime did lol, they didn't even bother to give tsunade the 100 healings awakening either

Does anyone know anything about the modding scene for these games? Jiraiya's moveset is pitiful. I don't know why they don't give characters more techniques. It wouldn't really unbalance the game considering the team mode already allows for a perfect ninjutsu list.

its a reference to kabuki theatre ( which jiraya's character is based around ) its not stupid, its actually very fitting for his character and the type of characters his design is inspired by
