This boss battle broke my heart, watching jiraiya die is one thing, actually controlling him and feeling helpless when he’s dying is another, and then CC2 did the exact same thing with future gohan in kakarot

Yeah. This is actually one of the parts the game does BETTER than the actual anime, especially with that final attack of Jiraiya’s at the very end with that wild Rasengan.

This is one of the few times where I actually like the video game version better than the anime or manga.

It was very saddening, but I was impressed that they put you in a forced loss fight sequence rather than getting beaten down in a cutscene

The fact that in the ending where you fight with a wounded jiraiya and have to WATCH him die is just so sad and makes me cry

The saddest parts is that you have to watch jiraiya slowly die, you know it's doomed to happen when jiraiya can't conjure any Chakra. As sad as the anime and Manga deaths were. I'd probably say the games death version hurt worse.

I kinda miss these kinds of combat where you were handicapped and had nowhere to run but just to win. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 never had the feeling of being dwarfed just like it was on Storm 2. I guess 2010 is the peak of the Golden Age of games.

Jiraiya and Itachi's death scenes are just as impactful in this game as they are in the manga and anime. Across all 3 mediums, I always cry whenever I revisit them, just like I did the first time I saw them as a kid.

I remember this fight I played a lot in my childhood I just missed the Chameleon, panda bear and the dog multiplying / dividing What's in the same in the anime and manga but apart from that this fight is pactant and very emotional 😔🤧 And the sad thing is to see the death of the favorite sensei and not having Sasori in the Hiruko armor or the others 6 Pains for us to use in duel mode at least 3 Pains the Animal Both male and female version,the Deva that he already has and the Human Who there too? @@juubi249 Well, at least Naruto did pretty good against Pain. He used all the jutsus and techniques that he learnt from him. Rasengan, giant rasengan, summoning jutsu. He even did some pretty cool techniques with all the frogs. Naruto is a worthy successor since at the end, he talked with Nagato instead of killing him

Yo Jiraiya could've bodied all 6 Pain's. If they all rushed in like the one did the game would've been over
That's like saying if the whole ninja alliance banned together they would have taken out Madara. Thing is Madara took himself out and Jiraiya doesn't go into true sage mode. So he would have more of a chance to lose if all Pains went after him at once. Also there is the fact that if Naguto is alive then all six paths of pain can be summoned over and over again
