Thanks for an awesome video and for bringing back so many happy memories. In the early 90's I worked for 4 years on the Lesotho Highlands Water Project and spent every long pay weekend travelling, in my Opel Astra and camping in southern Africa's wonderful game parks. I had the great honour and joy of spending a month in the Kruger at the end of my contract. A week of that month was spent at Tsendze in Autumn '94 in my little 2 man tent and small camping set up and it was glorious.
Absolutely blissful / the outdoors of South Africa 🇿🇦 is filled with wild animals - I visited Johannesburg in 2017 and had a great trip but want to revisit and want to do a self driven journey with my wife and son ❤️✔️
Edward, wow what a great video. The Kruger is such a special place. Its a spiritual experience and rejuvenates the soul. Im from Caoe Town & try get to Kruger at least once a year. I didnt manage to get there last year but have just returned from 2 weeks in Kruger. Thanks for the great videos. Cant wait to get back...... Hopefully June/July
The night sounds you captured was of the best, could just sit and watch the blank screen for an hour. Have a great trip and enjoy as we do as well. Thank you.
Such epic memories watching this, I was last in Pilgrim's Rest in 1998, the air that side is just so fresh and the drive from Polokwane is always nothing but breathtaking...
May Allah the Creator and the Sustainer return you in the best of His Choices for making to be there thru your vision and videos. Ameen Yeoman service. Please keep it up.
Superb footage I love the amazing wildlife sounds at night, the views are stunning.great commentary loved every bit of the video👍thanks for shareing Ed wish you well🌺
Gidday Edward, maaate! Two extra a's for you in mate today! When I hear your intro 'Howzit guys, so we're out here on our way to Botswana', I get this tingle up my spine and I know I'm in for a 30-minute treat. Suddenly, the world becomes a simpler place - no covid here, no horses being abused in Port Elizabeth, no death and no decay! (Sorry, I got a bit deep there!) All I need to do is open my eyes, open my ears, and take in the indescribable beauty of Africa! The sights and sounds of Africa, seen through your eyes and your lenses. Edward, maaate, you've exceeded you own high standards. Especially the birds, and their calls! You are one of the few that gives them their rightful place. God bless you, Ed. You keep me sane in a time of insanity. Dave
Wow Dave thank you so much for this awesome comment! I’m glad that you enjoyed the vid and that it made you enjoy the fantastic parts of Africa! I completely agree, it definitely helps get through the tough times this side as well! As always thank you for all the awesome support and I cannot wait to meet you some day! God Bless 🙏
Fabulous! Thanks for another great experience. My family and I were fortunate enough to enjoy not only the Eastern part of the country (Blyde, God´s Window, Kruger etc.) but also the Northern part in February this year only just before lock-down. This vid struck a cord. Thank you for all your great content. Very much appreciated. Looking forward to the next one.
Edward. Your intro is fantastic and catchy. Your eye for videography is exceptional, been watching your vids from your get go and they simply getting better. Everytime you say Epic my wife and i down a shooter tequila. Keep up the standard. Your wingman ( Batman Ranger ) not too shabby neither. Hopefully see you guys around stunning KZN sometime. Rory the Bushpig
Wow Rory thank you so much for this amazing comment! It really made my day and thank you for supporting the channel from day 1! I really appreciate it and hope to meet you out there someday!
Hey man, love your videos, they make me so excited for my trip to kruger next week, just with your intro, when you say you headed to Botswana i almost clicked out of it because I thought it was a different video.
Woa, life got a little bit hectic here, and decisions had to be made. But wow how refreshing to see some bush adventues again! Really good eposiode, I enjoyed it a lot. Keep safe!
Great video Edward. The night sounds and early morning Spook voël (gray headed bush shrike) calls, just put a smile on my face. We have made our booking and will be in visiting the park early next year. Can't wait.
Great video! Very much looking forward to the rest of this series. My wife and I visited the Panorama Route and Kruger NP in 2017. I was back in Kruger solo in 2018 (it's a long story).
Tnx, excellent video. We got evicted from Tsendze on the morning of 25 March 2020 as a result of the Covid lock down Regulation after only two knights in this amazing camp. Very disappointing, it was our first time there. Just got back from SANPARKS in Pta, fully refunded and planning to go back asap. We found the dogs on our way out in the middle of the road at the Letaba-crossing, as it they wanted to say goodbye.
Fabulous Edward! Really well put together. Wild Dogs have always been known as Painted Wolves, as this comes from their scientific name, Lycaon Pictus. Falling into the Genus, Lycaon. Thank you again for your wonderful videos.
Thank you so much Drew! And thanks for the info🙏 someone corrected me at camp after seeing the dogs and called them African painted dogs so thanks for clearing that up!
Hello Edward I really like your content and I don't even know how I discovered your channel, every time i want to relax and get my mind into the wild I watch your channel, love from Botswana
We usually go to Tsendze once a year, not this year thanks to lockdown. Have to get back there soon! Great video Mate, looking forward to the rest of the series 👌
Thank you so much Vik! It is a lot of work but it’s all worth it, my passion is to show off how amazing Africa is and I really appreciate the constant support from legends like yourself! Keep well mate!
nice one again Edward ...I've been meaning to ask you, which fire wood do you gyz buy cause i have a bad taste when it comes to selecting good fire wood..?
Edward what a treat. I love Tzendze. This has been a five-star video. Well done. This was professional, entertaining excellent editing. You brought my favorite place in the world to life.
Well done on a great video and amazing footage! Just LOVE Kruger and the wildlife. We heading up to Phalaborwa Gate in a few days time, could you tell me the condition of the roads via Lydenburg and Blydepoort. Thanks so much - looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you so much Debbie! The road conditions before Lydenburg are fantastic but between Lydenburg and the Blydepoort turn off the road conditions aren’t great, some large potholes but just take it slowly and enjoy the journey! 🙌thank you for the awesome comment and for watching! I really appreciate it
We absolutely love your videos Edward. It's so informative and quality pictures of wildlife. We specially appreciate the Botswana episodes. We want to go there in August. Please let us know which Garmin you use.. Specifically for the use of tracks for africa...?
Did you sell the desert wolf to purchase the Eco ? We had the desert wolf fox trailer when we still lived in SA great trailers !! Love your vids mate, brings back so many lovely memories !
@@EdwardBath That is so true we were really sad when we sold ours ! We purchased a forward folding one here in New Zealand strange that they not in SA . Again mate great vids keep up the great work.

Must say I like your camera work in general but not so happy with the repetitive use of “awesome, great, fantastic” it’s too much. You tend to repeat yourself a lot rather use the video with voiceover as you did at some places. Also found the “selfie” work too much, that is where you tend to repeat yourself. Use your companions as a starting point to pan over the dam for example and voice over it in post-production (video editing stage)! Otherwise a good video. Teach your girlfriend how to use the video camera while driving high speed on wet roads!
Hey man, thanks for the tips but I don’t appreciate you telling me how I should shoot and edit. My stuff is not scripted and is shot as it happens. You state “video editing stage” here like I don’t know what it is? I am a person that really enjoys constructive criticism but you are basically telling me what to do and you are getting this production for free. I use the terms “awesome and fantastic” because I am thrilled to be out there in the bush, are you not happy out in the bush? Please show me your RUclips channel so I can go and crit your work and how you present. Cheers
Are you kidding me ? 30 minutes of such awesome adventure for absolutely free ? Thank you very much for posting Mate !!!!
Wow this is such and awesome comment and made my day! Thank you mate! 🙏
