      @@EdwardBath Hey Ed, you are welcome.
      I was hoping you would do a video on the various entrances to Kruger NP and what would be the best entrances to go to if someone like me visiting from abroad is time limited and would like to spend a week or say 2 weeks in Kruger. What would be the best places/areas to go to and how long to spend in each area for the best game sightings? Preferably close to chalet locations since camping is a distant option for overseas visitors like me.
      I spent only 5 days in Kruger last time and I don’t think I got around the park that much and was restricted to the area where the game lodge was at but I’d like to do self drive and cover the different areas of the park at a relaxed pace for a couple of weeks.
      Do you or any of your partners have information videos on that?

    What a superb video again. Enjoyed it so much, as your complete canal during this COVID period. I had the chance to visit South Africa three times and Kruger once. Stayed 1 night in Satara and 1 in Lower-Sabie. After that 2 nights in the superb Shindzela inTimbavati. As first timers from Europe we made the misstake to rush trough the park and keep driving to find animals. You learned me to slow down and stay some time at waterholes and lookouts. Can’t wait to visit kruger again with your tips.
    Till that moment I will enjoy your videos! Looking forward for the next one.

    Love the footage and attitude to the Bush. Just wondering, you have a decent microphone but instead of letting us hear the sounds of KP you play music.
    Some of it appropriate but much of it I would prefer to hear live sounds or even if it is quiet perhaps the birdsong from a previous shot.

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  Год назад +1

      Thank you Steven! Unfortunately it’s not that simple, most shots have people not turning their cars off or lots of wind in the background hence the music. If this wasn’t the case I would just let the natural sounds do the talking 🙏

      @@EdwardBath Thanks for your response. I understand that some people are not considerate in the park. My pet hate are the electronic motor drive sounds. I am sure that electronic cameras nowadays can mute that sound. Without film there is no winding on! But people don't understand that and rattle away disturbing the glorius wildlife sounds.
      Thanks for the good stuff. Who needs Mainstream TV when there are wildlife guys like you.

    Fantastic video Edward, loved every moment of it.
    When you were describing your "happy place" I absolutely got it man because it was exactly what southern Africa, the game parks and Kruger in particular did for me - it lit up m soul like no other place I have been to in the world. It left me with a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye - the pure, raw, magnificent beauty of it all - God's country!

    Amazing stuff bro. We live in a beautiful country. When are you coming down to KZN? I was in hluhluwe last year, it was an epic trip. I really am looking forward to going back this year. Would be awesome to do a trip... Great work once again. 👌🏼

    Excellent again Ed 👍👌👏
    Your vid work really getting to a high standard .
    Btw- the light bar you have fitted to the roof. Obviously they are illegal in SA ( and many other Southern Africa countries - although not Bots I think)- have you never been stopped by the police and/or fined (either properly or ‘informally’) ??
    Was going to fit one on my 105 but everyone said the police would get me.

      @EdwardBath  3 года назад +1

      Thank you so much Alan! So the light bars as well as any spot lights on the vehicle (even the ones in front) are illegal apparently. I’ve never had any issues and I’ve been stopped many times. When they give me issues then I will remove them but until then they are staying on 💪

    What else can be said about Kruger except, any amount of time it takes me to get there is going to be too long after this video? Thanks Ed.

    It always makes me laugh when people rave about the S100. It is the one road where I am guaranteed a blank I must be the only person this happens to. I’m starting to think it’s a practical joke literally every visitor to the Park ever is playing on me😂😂😂
    The H6 just below is always good to me though.

    Hi Ed, were you able to drive out after 6pm gate closure to get to Thabamati camp? I always head for the gates by at least 5 to not be caught short. Also from your experience, if you camp within can you do night safaris (self drive) or is it a complete no go?

    • @EdwardBath
      @EdwardBath  3 года назад

      Hey! Nope, you have to be in Tamboti camp within the gate closure times 🙌

    Please please guys take more videos of camp site and especially the food you make and your dwellings… tired of just watching traveling and seeing car tires turning … getting to camp sites and lighting fires … no foods etc and how u make these dishes …
    It would be great to see more of natural living and cooking foods , dinners , breakfasts etc…
    Real life !!!
    Thanks Tina
