Everything looks perfect ! The ebony truss cover is awesome ! The ebony fingerboard, the small headstock in contrast to Dean's large headstocks, Kahler...everything is perfect !! Cheers from Morocco
I love Kerry King and Slayer. I would love to own this guitar but I would never pay almost $9000. I am also a huge Adam Jones (TOOL) fan and equally would never ever pay Gibson what they want for his signature guitar either. I say this because I'm too poor. If I was rich I would buy both.
They went all out? Well, they damn well better for $8,666. The inlays are nicely done and the illuminated side dots are a nice touch, but there ain't 9 grand in guitar there. Not even close. Plus, it has Mr. Krabs on it. And what's with the clunky neck heel? It's a neck-through body, making that totally unnecessary. Sorry, but if I was spending 9 grand on a guitar, I could find a barely used PRS Private Stock and those are exquisite. I will say, I did recently pick up the newer, Indonesian made version (without the goofy Mr. Krabs on the body), and I'm pretty happy with it. It seems to be very well built,, and very solid. Quite heavy for a flying V. I think I actually prefer the simplified, and more consistent inlays on the newer one. I don't think it's $1,400 worth of guitar, but I didn't pay that much, and I don't think it's horribly over-priced. I think $1,250 is probably about where it should sit, seeing it comes with a pretty nice case. I could swap the EMG 85 in the neck out for a Sustainiac if I wanted, but I don't feel it's necessary. I'm pretty happy with the way it is. Now all I need is a nice wide black leather strap and a box of 6 inch nails... 🤪
To each their own and that is a sweet guitar, but I've got a Dean USA CS Rusty Cooley 7 string that I paid $2,400 for and it leaves Kerry's V in the dust. 9 grand is just out of control.
Kerry King's stage guitars are ALL right around $9,000-$12,000 Why? Because they're all handmade and flawless, they're made with the absolute best electronics, finest wood, These are gems, If you can afford to drop $9G's on 1 do it, I would!
$9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😖😳WWWWWWWWWWWWHAT!!!!!!! That's absolutely insane. I dont care if those are hand cut inlays and fiberoptic lit side dots or not. Not to mention the wait on that thing. That's PRS Wood Library money my man. I guess it's a collector thing but I just dont see that kinda money laying in that case. It's cool you got'em sold. And I'd say after he's no longer with us you can just go ahead and double the price. Or triple even. Pheeew!!! That just nuts to me. 9 grand.😏
@@justinshaw5541 Absolutely brother. HUUUUUGE $$$$$ That's criminal for what it is,.... imo. Not to mention its kinda only for one or two settings and music scenes . Probably not gonna see it in to many blues bars, country dives or Jazz clubs. 😆😆😁 Just a hunch.😆 Thanks for the response Justin. 👍🇺🇸 God Bless brother.
Almost $9,000 for that? I just don't see it. You could get 2 Jackson custom shop guitars for that. I just don't see it. Also considering that he never played Dean in all those years. It was always B.C. Rich. It's like this is just some gimmick for money. Not to mention that thing is not very pretty at all. Kinda ugly actually.
Hey don't knock Kahler. I've been using one just like his since '84 as well. They stay in tune better than the Floyd and nowhere near as problematic when changing strings and tunings. Ya they look clunky but they work so well.

There's another kerry king V by B.C. Rich, which goes for around 600-900$. And Dean also has a kerry king V for around 1400-1500$.

Almost 9 grand!!!! Too rich for my blood 🩸. But congrats bro🤘
The fiber optic side dots are a Sick touch 👍😎
9k for a matte finish? That’s insane.
Sick looking guitar! \m/
Sooo Sweet!!!!

That's all the picks you get for that$$$$$$$lol
Nice🤘
A "tank" case protects the guitar nicely!
Ain't no way I'd pay that much for any guitar

LOL!!! IF ANYONE SPENDS THAT KIND OF MONEY ON THIS GUITAR, YOUR IQ IS ZERO AND YOU SHOULD BE BAKER ACTED!
final-fucking-ly a kkv review of the earwig guitar :)
Play the thing dude
Give me a break! This guitar is not worth that much money at all! ESPECIALLY A DEAN GUITAR!!!! LOL!!!!! What a freaking joke!!!
Kerry should drop Dean for the way Deans son disrespected Dime and his wife..
You have no clue what the fuck you are talking about. Good try though.
@@MrChondr0 they did shit on dime so he’s not wrong!!
Very expensive and even more ugly. I'd get two Washburn Dime D3 instead of this.
It was Kerry King’s design based around his BC RICH guitars
Try to find a washy slime or Usa cross for under 8 grand.
Did you say $9,000?………

I know right? I'd rather buy a reissue 50s/ 60s Gibson or a private stock PRS before I'd buy a $9k Dean

Better trim those edward scissorhands before you start playing that $9k guitar.
Guitar is $299 on Alibaba, lol

Doesn’t look too bad, but not 9k worth. I’d rather buy a Rolex day date instead with that money.
A $9,000 guitar with a Khaler bridge? No thank you

@@patrickhale424 I hear ya brother. Each his own, ya know?.
