We love Diono, we just moved our daughter who is almost 9 into the Diono montrey booster a few days ago and she loves it! She is happy to finally be in a booster seat and we are happy knowing how safe she is on every car journey!
Just watched this video as I purchased this seat and reading the manual the manufacturer doesn’t allow for any additional accessor inserts and I see you’re using a seat protector.
@@caitlinbest7373 yes. It’s anything that comes between the seat and the car seat. Some manufactures allow for a seat protector. Some do not. Some only allow their brand. Diono specifically says on page 9 the following “DO NOT use any accessories, inserts or products not included with this child restraint, unless approved by Diono. Items not tested with this child restraint could injure your child.”
I’m so used to Graco and more traditional ones (also great but so expensive). I’m super in love with this one and will be getting it for my babies when they’re old enough!
@@caitlinbest7373 I did end up buying it and my daughter just loves it! Even when we don't have anywhere to go, she wants to pretend we are on a trip so she can sit in her car seat. :D

How padded is the seat? I hear these seats oy have a super thin layer of plastic foam
Padded enough, in my opinion. My kid hasn’t ever complained about being uncomfortable.
