Thank you for the video, you always have great info. Masking is a great tool in editing. Tutorials on masking are necessary, especially for powerdirector , not many on RUclips that are as clear as your tutorials. Heck, not even Cyberlinks tutorials are as clear as yours.
Thanks. I believe Cyberlink's tutorials are more driven by the marketing folks than the educational folks. They focus more on what is possible rather than the steps to accomplishing tasks. --Jim
I echo the other comments; agree that masking is counterintuitive as you suggest. As long as I have been using PD, I still have to go through the mental exercise to get it straight. Very clear tutorial! Thank you.
It seems that i always invert the mask. (Speaking of moving controls, did you notice they got rid of the zoom tool from the advanced edit screen? What a pain! )
Thanks Jim, lots of way us to use this. Excellent tutorial.
Thanks, Don. Glad to offer this overview. --Jim
Thanks for your presentation, Jim! I have yet to try it this has peaked my curiosity!
Glad this has stimulated your thinking! Hope you experiment and learn more. --Jim

You are welcome. Masking is something you don't see in other types of software programs.

Yeah, I use the zoom often. You now have to pick a percent and move around in a much more cumbersome way. --Jim
