One thing I do relate to is subconsciously finding relationships that are based on the way your parents have treated you. It also took me a long time to figure out it's not really who you are is what you attract, but more who you're used to mentally is what your mind gravitates to. Their personality and behaviors seem and feel familiar and you become comfortable because you're use to it. It takes time to break free and realize what you experienced and saw as a child was toxic abuse and many don't talk about it to warn their loved ones of the red flags. Nobody was around Kim to shower her with self esteem and so she in the end failed herself because of lack of knowledge.

Unfortunately childhood trauma's start at home during their early developmental year's. Alot of it comes from the parent's and siblings. By the time the child that's been taunted and ridiculed becomes of age to they try to erase what they think is wrong with themselves and tend to gravity towards abusive partners. Therapy is never an option in their minds. They just start mutilating themselves with surgery. We see it in alot of celebrities and wealth people as well.

I was told the same by exs before I was told I wasn’t pretty I was just ok one bf even said he usually went for real pretty girls but they didn’t have any personality and that’s why he asked me out because he thought about changing his type and basically said that I was prettier after time because of my personality was so good. Unfortunately childhood trauma's start at home during their early developmental year's. Alot of it comes from the parent's and siblings. By the time the child that's been taunted and ridiculed becomes of age to they try to erase what they think is wrong with themselves and tend to gravity towards abusive partners. Therapy is never an option in their minds. They just start mutilating themselves with surgery. We see it in alot of celebrities and wealth people as well.

I was told the same by exs before I was told I wasn’t pretty I was just ok one bf even said he usually went for real pretty girls but they didn’t have any personality and that’s why he asked me out because he thought about changing his type and basically said that I was prettier after time because of my personality was so good. Then all throughout school called ugly so if anyone says to me I’m beautiful I don’t believe them I just think they are taking the P£SS out of me. I have never understood how people can take a compliment being told they are beautiful and actually believe the person telling them. My dad left when I was 5/6 years old and I just think every man will leave me (apart from my older brother) because if my dad did why wouldn’t a man I’m with. It’s something that you don’t realise until you’re older how the actions of being left or having people call you names or exs has such a big impact on your mental health. It’s something I’m working on.
