This was a really well-made retrospective. I love watching long game analyses, and Killer7 is a game I've heard a lot of good things about, so I really enjoyed this one. It definitely deserves more views.

It definitely made me realize just how chaotic the world can be, I was like 8 watching this dude play it in his mini tv at a convenience store, the aesthetics of the game made my little self very put off lol. Guess I got my curiosity for history of our institutions from this game. How old were you when you first played/knew about the game?
What effect did it have on you? I was 14. I was confused. Shocked. So intrigued. So thirsty for more. To know MORE! I played it over and over again and still couldn’t understand. Hahaha. I’m getting some closure with all the videos I’m watching tho. Would love to play it again as an adult. May buy a GameCube etc
I realize this is a little late, but one of my favorite parts which will contain spoilers, so if you dont want spoilers, even though they were already said in this video. You have been warned. I never noticed it, but when Emir kills the 6 Smiths, they are all done in ironic ways. For example, Kevin the man capable of going invisible, is wearing a costume and is unarmed. The invisible man is wearing a disguise, which Emir sees right through, and kills him, no weapons even drawn. Coyote is sly and tricky, but gets cornered. But, getting his gun and waiting to attack, he plays it smart. But, gets outsmarted, Emir sneaking up on the thief, leaves Emir outfoxing the Coyote. Con is blind, yet is staring out the window, like hes enjoying the view, distracted. He never hears him coming, shooting a blind kid in the back. Arguably the fastest member, never moves a inch until hes shot. Kaeade (spelling?) is scared and runs and hides from her killer. A self harmer who is afraid of death? The girl with the closest to pain and death slitting her own wrists in a moments notice, seems the most scared of dying. Mask, is showering, and not even wearing the thing that gives him his name. His mask laying on the counter top, the wrestler never even gets the chance to properly defend himself before being gunned down and left, facedown naked in the shower. His identity was his mask, yet he died without wearing it, and if it was lost..No one would even know who he was. And last but not least. Dan, arguably the badass of the group, known as the hellion, a gun slinger who outguns everyone. Is out drawn and shot, by Emir. Clean and fair, the gunman out gunned.. Thoughts?
Stumbled onto your channel, looking for a discussion on killer 7! You make great long form video essays and definitely deserve more subs. How long does it take to complete a video of this size on average?
Thank you very much m8! As for how long it takes: nowadays it takes me about a week. Usually a few days to play through the game to capture footage, then 2-3 days to write up and record the script (anywhere from 12,000-18,000 words), and then my standard nowadays is to spend a full day editing it all together, and that can take as long as 10 hours for my longer vids. Bear in mind though that I did recently quit my job and so I do have the luxury of being able to spend full days working on my vids, whereas back when I was still working full time, it'd usually take me anywhere from 2-3 weeks to put out a video.
@candletype1a447 That's an absolutely insane turnaround rate! I make videos, too.I make about a 3 page script every week. Recording audio takes about an hour for some retakes. Then, I usually give myself 2 days for editing. Granted, I take breaks and sometimes procrastinate. The way you can make a full hour long video in a week is super human.
