I build diy electric skateboard as a hobby. That you did was truly DIY and dangerous. But I really like how you built the remote and receiver. Nice.
this is absolutely a commendable hack, but as im sure you will realize, i think there are a couple fairly egregious decisions that are basically ruining the board. first is that you need to use a decent board, full stop. that thing is unrideable. second is using a sensorless motor is going to make starting and stopping extremely jerky, which will make it frustrating to ride. otherwise, the electronic hackery is very nice. id also mention that if your looking for good shock absorbing material for holding components in place, yoga mat is really good.
yes your right. i just want to experience how to ride electric skateboard, and i like it.. someday I build it again with longboard and 64xx sensored motor.
When riding, your front foot should not be pointing forwards. Try to keep your front foot perpendicular to the direction of travel. This will stop you leaning too far forwards, and give you more control over steering.
I would also say your front foot should be behind the front truck (axle), but this is a small penny board so that's not as important.

Solid vid I expected to see a guy buy a bunch of premade parts but then you got to the electronics. Very nice, I wonder how much money it saves over buying premade stuff. My advise, buy a longer solid deck to put your trucks and electronics on will be a much more stable ride easier to go fast. You can prob get one pretty cheap deck only. Optionally wider trucks.
after my two projects, I try to get a longboard. it was fun to ride with board.

That black case you're using for your battery compartments. Be careful. I use that thing to store my nectar collector for daily use and they are extremely fragile and the Fasteners snap off with no effort at all. If you're not careful your whole pack could pop out while you're riding

hey albert - is it possible to use ebike bldc controller with this motor ? normally with throttle or pas ?
no sir, controller in ebike are made for high voltage low current, but these kind of motors are designed for low voltage high current operation. ( it work but not recommended)

The steps showing removal of all parts was a bit too fast for an experienced amateur to be able to tell what was going on
Though the step by step process was amazing and shows the core steps of building these boards.
PatRiot pull up schematics to the units you personally have and it will basically guide you to perfection!
If you watch the video on a computer rather than a phone you can click on the settings icon under the video and adjust the playback speed. I slowed it down and it's much easier to follow.

cylindrical cells are more durable than lithium polymer.

For more durability, you have to install a 150amp esc minimun
in my test its only draw 24Amps max, 80A esc is enough for now.

Puglife Puglife pushing mongo (with his left foot in a regular stance) is significantly harder.
