I've been longarm quilting for customers for almost 9 years, and I still learn little tips from your videos! I have all of your books and have taken your Craftsy classes. When a new longarmer asks me for advice...I send them directly to you!!! Keep up the good work, and thanks for the inspiration!

You make this look so easy! Then I spend hours with a huge chalkboard and chalk trying to copy it before I head to fabric. Believe it or not, it actually helps. Then I have to take the chalkboard outside to clean off all the chalk! 🤣. Thank you so much for these tutorials. I never dreamed I would even get this far.

I’d be embarrassed to show anyone how many times I e tried this design on paper. I have drawn and practiced and just can’t loosen up. I love the chain. I picked the wood grain up in 1 try. The leaves in one try and many others. My brain is not computing for the swirl chain. Back to practicing and thank you for the time you put in on these videos. Your quilting is second to none.

Thank you for your practical tutorial on how to use this design in a quilt! It's a beautiful design and doesn't actually look too hard to use! Thanks for showing us how - and encouraging us to with specifics on what to do.
Little comments like "You can always echo if you don't know what to do" really has helped me as I've been practicing a basic curl or swirl design - (DSM - Janome) when I wasn't sure where to go next.

I've just tried this in the border of my Challenge #3 fmq. I decided to do this in one end and one side; then will do the echo bubbles in the rest... started out a little bit off balance but corrected soon enough. However, my border isn't very wide, so besides echoing the elongated swirls and paislies, there isn't much room for the rest. Maybe I can attempt this on another quilt! Thank you again Angela Walters for inspiration and the support to try new designs!
