Quite clear why it was discontinued! I have one of the newer ones, which i recommended a while back for review, and the newer ones are nicer for sure. It survived and held very well on my .308(ar10) and is now on my .300blk, still putting them where they need to go. I wish i could upload pictures here! But yet again, great and very fair review!
I have seen the point of impact "walk" when several shots are fired in rapid succession and it's not the scopes fault. 223 is a super hot, fast caliber and the barrel gets very hot after 3 shots. Light sporter barrels are worse than bull barrel model barrels. Sometimes the ammo itself can be a critical factor. For a better test: fire a shot, clean the barrel & cool, then fire a shot & clean the barrel & cool. Five shots in 30 minutes usually tells the tale of hot barrel walk, scope impact walk, or ammo loaded inconsistently. Play with it. You'll find the problem if you do it right and the wind cooperates. LOL.. Also.....those bipods are no substitute for good old sandbags.
Im as surprised as you are lol, but glad, im hoping Bushnell just replaces it with one of their recent models *fingers crossed* then ill have another scope to review!
Bushnell is awesome for those fortunate enough to have one that works. Mine was never up to specs (very short eye relief 2" vs 4" as per specs and I can't seem to get Bushnell to repair it. All they say is that it is within specs. Then why do the other two scopes I mounted on the rifle work to perfection. I'm using Tally rings and mounts specifically designed for my rifle (Winchester Mod 70 XTR) Great scope terrible service.
Do you recomend this one for small calibre? TBolt Browning 22 Lr, I have a good opportunity to get this Trophy or the Bushnell Banner 4 - 12 x 40 Thaks
Awesome video i really appreciate this ! I want to know if discovery vt-3 series can withstand the recoil for Diana 350 Magnum springer ? Wich scope Can withstand the recoil and not loose the zeroing ?
LOve the channel!!! I was never one to worry recoil. I've shot so much it doesn't bother me at all. I just concentrate on the target and let it fly. Lol however I don't shoot anything bigger than a 06 or 308
look at the model name there's te Bushnell banner, Bushnell trophyi have reviewed the updated model of the one in this review see the link: ruclips.net/video/ccW4EOrnv1w/видео.html

Another good job at checking out that scope. I believe that is the first one that I have seen where the optics failed that bad.

take a level and check the rail, put the scope on ? bore sight ? take out to the range and give her a shot. Looks like windage turrets need adjusted.
Is this the same scope as the 4-12x40 multi x scope by bushnell?
