I came to the comment section to learn more about SI planners since I’ve never purchased from here before but some of yall 1) don’t understand how a business works, 2) don’t understand how a SMALL business works 3) don’t know what a TARGET CUSTOMER is 4) don’t understand how a SKU system works 5) don’t understand the ins and outs of fabric and printing etc etc etc Voice your opinion ppl bc after all this is social media BUT do understand how silly, immature, selfish and ignorant some of you sound. She is successful for a reason . She doesn’t use AI she is thoughtful about everything she puts out there ; she is in a class of her own and she’s a true artist. I support small businesses but most of all I support small businesses that have owners with character and that think about every single minute-detail . People complaining aré ignorant of how this works .
I love the idea of the monthly booklet with a separate notebook to reduce waste. Thank you for your generosity in providing us so many options to meet our individual needs.
For everyone freaking out about the colors/layouts... its ONE YEAR guys... she is not only offering new colors but new layouts... she has more options than ANY planner company out there....give her a break... am i sad that my beautiful TN N1 full year vertical is only one color? Of course.... but guess what? I get that gorgeous mulberry in a different size... this is ONE YEAR... we will all survive - especially if you came from hobinichi where they offered TWO sizes and one layout for each. If the color of your planner makes that much difference, make your own... im sorry but the amount of comments I have seen complaining over "I didnt get what i want" even though she literally gave EVERYONE their horizontal layout in EVERY size is mind boggling. Why don't we thank her and congratulate her and trust that once she sees how each size, color and layout works she WILL give us what we want. Maybe you have forgotten that this is only her THIRD year offering these planners (i think thats right, 2023 right?!) Either way... shes beyond ahead of the game by offering as many options as she is.... Can you imagine how stressful it is, to come out with new planners and sizes and layouts and colors, as a small business - worrying if everyyone will be happy... and then when someone doesnt get what they want simply because of a COLOR... that has to be hurtful. Please remember that she is ONE person who is doing the best she can... she cant go broke because a couple people want x,y,and z.... I didn't mean to come on here and rant and I promise I am not trying to be rude.... but I don't see these comments on anyone elses planner release. Give her a break... I 110% trust that once she sees how each planner this does... she will do her very best to bring it for 2026. We all know we planner hop like crazy (well, I do/did) and I am thankful that she has come out with a product that helps me stay on task - My ADHD is OBVIOUSLY an entire mess - what is important is on the inside. Just saying yall... try to remember she is doing the best she can, she is ahead of the game BY FAR, and she has gone above and beyond listening to our wants/needs but she also has to make sure that this business is successful for her and her family. Be kind everyone. I understand if you're upset - you have that right - but please don't bring it to her release videos, every single video and then guilt trip because you didn't get everything you wanted. Again, just put yourself in her shoes please - that is all I am asking. Congratulations Catherine- like I stated - you are ahead of the game in every aspect -- what you are giving us is above and beyond and I trust that once you see how well everything is doing, you will absolutely do everything you can to make everyone happy. I hope you are proud of yourself and take it as a compliment that SO MANY people want YOUR prioducts because even though it can only be the most stressful thing ever I imagine - you really are killing the game when it comes to planners (size, colors, layouts, everything) so I hope you don't let this stress you out too much... you can't make EVERYONE EVERYWHERE happy. We are the people paying for the planners. If we don't like something, we have the right to say so. None of these came in pink or Linen and all of them come in green? Who asked for that? As long as no one is being mean or rude, we can say what we think about the choices of colors.
@@40isfab87 I personally assume it's because green was most sold color last year when they had preorders. I make leather covers and you wouldn't believe how popular green is xD in almost every shade, especially dark and muted ones

the undated but still dated daily makes so much sense in my head for a person who just occasionally journals. i can just put all the random intermittent journaling that i do in one book instead of scattered across multiple different books and this one has more room, that's so genius in my head xD
For anyone complaining about the colors, focus on the layout and size first. You can always find a cover online that suits your wants. It might be a bit more costly but if that’s the only thing stopping you from getting your favorite one, it’s a suggestion.
All I've ever wanted was a full size A5 Hobonichi Weeks -- your A5 horizontal common planner is everything I've been looking for!! I hope it's popular enough that you release more colors next year but the Mulberry with gold pages is going to look amazing. Ohhh the booklets though ❤❤❤ also, having the option for combining shipping across the releases is AMAZING, became i have to admit I was worrying over that as an international girly looking at items in all 3 launches. I am absolutely in love with your booklets. I’m so glad you’re continuing that line! I currently am using the booklet + half year notebook combination for the 24-25 school year and am just so happy!
I think it’s wonderful that there are so many options to choose from for 2025, I just wish the B6 horizontal came in the compact size. There are just way too many blank gridded pages in the horizontal full year for me, especially since there’s a blank gridded page opposite each of the weekly horizontal pages. Oh, well, it’s the B6 vertical compact for me this year! Thank you, Catherine for your wonderful products!
And I wish someone would make the A5 or B5 vertical week planner and/or the daily planner in 68 gsm paper like the take a note planner ..and in one book (not splitting the year into two.) The pages are not transparent in the take a note planner. Either of those two would be perfect (for me) 😭
I'm new to the planner world and have really struggled to use my Hobonichi Weeks effectively for work, flipping between the different spreads so the booklets are right up my alley...especially since the N1 is larger in all aspects!!! And excited to try your Common Planners for personal purposes vs the Cousin 🎉

Re: colors, this is just my opinion, but I think the kind of randomness of the colors with the different sizes is what's tripping folks up, not the limited availability, which is completely understandable. No one wants you to waste money on unsold product! I know you said in a previous video that you didn't want to just have neutrals but maybe having one new color a year and offering it in the most popular sizes then having everything else available in black or black and camel would cut down on color complaints. Just my two cents as a person who doesn't use covers.❤
What a well thought out comment! I think you are right. that is totally where some of the disappointment comes from. That's the part I was gutted about is the pink coming in only one single size/layout configuration. I agree with I'd rather just see one new color a year with a brown option rather than seeing a color I love and it not being on hardly any planners. Forest is not a neutral to me though so seeing that as the only option for a planner would hurt my soul lol!! I get there are production issues with the pink which totally stinks but I would have loved to just know upfront when the pink color was even announced that it was very limited and only in ONE planner. Like ripping the bandaid off immediately so there were no expectations from the start.
Thank you for your suggestion. The issue is that there are people who absolutely cannot do black or brown or green or blue or pink or some other color. Even when I offered all five colors in all sizes, I still received complaints that there wasn't a beige option or grey or light brown. Trust me I get emails every day about this during launch. People think pink is so great, but the issue is that pink is our least selling color across ALL products by a long shot I only keep bringing it back because I really like a neutral pink. So honestly I didn't even think it would be an issue that it was offered in one size. People requested for pocket and are disappointed about A6 offering less options, but honestly I don't even know why I produce products in these sizes because they do not sell. But I am bringing them into the line up for the die hard fans of pocket and A6. So the conclusion is that no matter what I do, there would still be people disappointed no matter what, we just happen to see them more visibly because I also upload more videos and more content overall. I know there are things that don't look straightforward, and there is a reason why bigger brands only offer very limited size and layout. But I am here to bring the options to people who really want something in a specific size and while doing that I am trying to provide some new colors so we are not all using a beige or black planner.

I learned over the years that some people are just not going to be kind in the manner they comment. I sincerely hope my comments showed how much I truly love your products! Because you are totally right, you cannot please everyone about every single thing all of the time. And my disappointment/criticism is about one tiny thing in the grand scheme of things and I hope that doesn't overshadow all the amazingness of this release!! You made my day releasing an a5 horizontal. I am blown away by all you have accomplished. Like I said before, totally a supporter and will continue to share your planners on my videos because they are what I use and love. I just placed an order from the website for some notebooks. I have a video coming up as soon as some supplies arrive, specifically in anticipation for this launch. I think people will be surprised how easy it can be to alter the cover if they want a different cover.
Every customer isn’t a company’s target customer. I teach this to my students. Many of her customer’s don’t realize her product may not be for them and that’s OK because … go figure…there are other companies out there. She has the stats, she has the business license and it’s HER company. Although people may think the majority want something this simply may not be the case.
Also, thank you for making rounded corners! I can’t stand pointed square corners in books!! Nice touch. I do wanna see a B6 slim next to a B6. I’m off to look at the playlist for that. Im shocked and gutted that other sizes haven’t come in the compact horizontal, I would have loved an a6&b6 in horizontal compact, I’ll still buy them but a compact version would have been nice.
I'm hoping that will happen next year if these do well enough but agreed, I had assumed it was going to be an option and was happy because my current cover could fit two compacts.
Thank you so much for creating these videos to show specifics for the varieties and sizes, and break them down into smaller videos (and providing time stamps) so it’s easy to compare ‘side to side’ coming as close as you can in a video to actually holding the product in your hands. I really enjoy the variety available making it easy to suit what needs I have/want in a planner/journal (the hard part is the deciding!!!) I’m so impressed by your commitment and as the daughter of a business owner, I know the huge amount of time, emotional stress and physical demand, that goes into running a small business and I wish you the best of success. It may be helpful as things grow to create separate planner covers so people can have a Sterling-Ink cover in the color they want. Or, develop a relationship with cover companies that you recommend for a variety of reasons, and reduce the cover color drama. For me, of course I have colors I like over others, but I know I’m going to put a cover on it because I like a large cover that I can keep things I need in it, protect the planner from me spilling stuff all over it (I’ve ruined two MacBooks…I’ve learned my lesson!) and have that be quick and easy. That works for me. It’s the innards that I’m focused on, and you have created exactly what I need on the inside pages, as well as a great variety because I want something small for my purse that interacts well with the larger one that doesn’t always travel. Having the same format in large and small is going to make my life much simpler!!! One question: Can you (or anyone) direct me to the pricing for each item? I need to budget for the total and see if I need to combine orders to avoid potential shipping fees.

Like I said before, most of these books will be in beautiful leather or fabric covers. A few will be in clear plastic. I had a journal that I covered with a paper that had my favorite flower printed on it. Then placed in a clear cover. I’m sure that the most important part of the books are the TR paper. For those wondering about the ink, it's De Atramentis Document / Archive. I've used Archive as my black ink for years - it's well-behaved and can be highlighted over when completely dry. First off, I want to say how much I LOVE how you have done these videos. They are so clear and perfectly organized and I know it must have taken so long to make them. WELL DONE!! I am so so happy I have a few of the planners/sizes I wanted available in the mulberry at least. I have LOVED Sterling Ink from the very start and will continue to purchase your planners year after year because they are some of the absolute best out there. They have always been in my top faves videos since release and they will continue to be a part of those top faves. My color disappointment doesn't change that. Just as one of the ones who is pretty heartbroken about the lack of pink options when we were shown the pink in the very beginning of launch season...I wish you had been able to tell us from the very beginning that the pink was only in one single configuration and maybe us pink girlies wouldn't have gotten our hopes up so much. I know you did say not all colors come in every option which I totally understand, but to have it as part of the initial reveal for it to only be used on one single configuration was just painful. I watched the first two videos excitedly thinking there was barely any pink so far so surely a5 is gonna have the pink! Then was absolutely gutted to find out the pink only comes in the week size in one single configuration. I guess it was just the way the entire release was laid out in sections that continued to get my hopes up personally. Like, obviously I will survive, and it's not the end of the world, just disappointing. I just with you had been able to tell us in the beginning, "and fairyfloss only comes in weeks size xx configuration only" right as you made the color announcement. I was actually not intending to get a weeks size to attempt to streamline my planner stack sizing to just TN and A5 (I used a6, a5, tn, and weeks sizes Sterling Inks this year!). But now I will be getting weeks size again for next year because THAT is how much I love pink!!
Yeah I thought the pink would at least be in the flagship A5 or B6, just wished it was made known that it’s only available in one size and configuration. But luckily I have a 2nd choice colour so all is good

Ohhhh, I thought I finally have my 2025 line-up set, but this video changes everything because the option I was thinking of is not going to be in my first to fifth choice colour options. (I 100% understand the decision.) Now I'm going to spend the next couple weeks trying to decide if I'm going to switch my layout option or something else. Thank you for the detailed videos!

I love these looks. But I wonder? If this is the 1st year with all these new sizes (mostly the smaller) , why risk having them with selected colors. I am curious to know why it's not the onyx as a standard base (like when you showed off the monthly booklets)🤔 since some people will get turned off by certain colors (you are essentially adding another sales variable) and give ur common B5/A5 that you normally sell, the whole range of colors? I'm genuinely curious. I'm still excited for launch day, i have an alarm reminder set so i can wake up on time! 😅 ❤

I'd love to try one of your planners! I'm torn between the B6 full year or the B6S compact (horizontal orientation). I'd love it if there was a B6 horizontal compact version as I don't need quite so many pages but think I would prefer the size of the B6 over the B6S.
I'm sad that the daily planner doesn't come in Mulberry, but I also understand that trying to keep track of ALL that inventory would be exhausting. You guys are doing great!

I’m actually so excited about the undated daily planner because I missed the academic planner release. I have been using an undated EC planner for homeschool and soooo beyond excited to replace it with this!!
So many sizes is amazing!! We can always cover the cover with our own decorative papers, so the color isn't as important to me as sizes. I want to order one of everything. lol

For my very first SI planner, I am BEYOND excited to FINALLY have something that has an aspect of literally everything I need in one book!!! You are AMAZING!!! I’m so happy I found you!!! I have watched all the videos and I am amazed. Catherine you are a living example of how the use of a planner can help one be organised, be productive and achieve goals. I mean you home school, journal, do your art, run a business and shoot videos ! I know it's not easy and I for one am happy with the variety of books you offer. I'm not even that concerned with the colours as long as there are some dark colours available. Last year I missed out on the pre order so I think this staggered system should work better. :-) An edit to say that there is never a perfect planner book that will satisfy everyone. Part of the "fun" is adapting a book to suit my needs. For example, for my main daily planner, I prefer vertical layouts because that's how my brain works. This year I used an A5 vertical full year as my faith planner (using the blank pages) and an A6 as a gratitude journal. Watching the videos, I had a light bulb moment when I realised I could combine the two in a horizontal full year. The horizontal sections for gratitude and daily faith using the blank pages. :-))

@@SterlingInk I love the way the colours complement each other- when you put the Onyx, Mist, Caramel and Tweed etc all together. I don't like pale colours like pink but that's just my personal preference. I love the other colours. ❤
You certainly try to accommodate everyone, thank you and thank you for recognizing that for some of us black is a bit harsh, I have to say that I have something in your Forest, Quartz, mist and Caramel and they are all beautiful colors- mulberry looks beautiful as well! And I have to say that there is always the option to cover your planner with vellum, paper, etc. and have it be the color you want 😘

I keep telling myself that I don’t “need” the passport and/or the B6 in mulberry because I do my main planning in an A5 plus project planning in booklets, and I’m going to bring a compact B5 into the mix that I’m super excited about…and then I see the mulberry and how cute it is, and I feel divided all over again! 😍 “It’ll be so pretty next to the forest,” my brain adds 😉 Thank you for such detailed videos and plenty of time for indecision and decision before the launches!

Have used Hobonichi for 3 years but think I’m switching over since B6 is legit my favorite size journal/planner. A little bummed that the half year only comes in two colors (the mulberry is gorgeous) but the forest and caramel are great bases. I’ll just get creative with my decoration on the cover. Excited to try something new for 2025!

I've already set aside some money in my bank account. Just take my money. All of it. Loved my SI planners and notebooks this year. This year I have a B6 full vertical, 2 "Weeks" verticals, a passport horizontal, an A5 vertical, a blank B6 notebook, and a "standard TN" blank notebook. I am definitely using your products again next year. Can't wait to try some booklets for specific projects!
I don't know on which video to put this comment but I am so excited for the B5 vertical compact plus booklet combo for my planner system in 2025. It's everything I've ever dreamed of in a planner. B5 is the size I need because I only use one planner for three things (work, personal, household) - I have ADHD and need all my planning in one place or I WILL miss something. The A5 vertical weekly is too small for me so I've been using wire-bound B5 vertical planners just for the size and found every single one too distracting - guided side quests that I am compelled to participate in although I gain no value from. I find myself wasting a lot of time covering the distractions! Not to mention, the wires are uncomfortable for left or right handed writing positions (I suppose if one is ambidextrous, it's okay). With the B5 Vertical Compact I can have it all in one place, no distractions, in my own voice, with my own motivations, on fabulous paper so I can use my fountain pens. The joy of planning is returning. Thank you Catherine for understanding the hearts of so many planner people!
This year I really wanted to combine faith and gratitude in one book and also not to have to write out the dates for every single day. I was happy to see the new Daily dated planner but thought I would have to still use a separate, smaller book for gratitude. This morning I was sitting looking at my notes on the Dated Daily when I realised it has 37 blank pages at the back. 💡 moment! That's more than enough pages to allocate one or two pages per month for gratitude and still have some spare! Ready for launch(es) ;-)

I ordered both the B6 Avec style planners in Mauve ('23) and Quartz ('24). But it's all good. I'm excited for the Horizontal B6 Slim Compact. However, I just might opt for the two B6 Slim mini Mauve notebooks I ordered yesterday and the black notebook coming in Sep... that's a possible game changer (and I still get my pink!) 😸
I’m super stoked to try the A5 vertical full year!! This will be my first time as I’m a Hobonichi lover but I don’t like dated dailies. It feels like a waste of paper because I like just having notes as needed. I do that now with dates & then index in the front of my hobo but I don’t wanna have to do that. I’m excited for this launch!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉
@@chocolatedoclet The monthlies and weeklies are dated, the daily pages aren't so you could use as much or as little space as you needed for journaling on the daily pages

Such a great release and love the new colors. It’s only sad that you choose the same colors in vertical compact for N1 and B6 🥲 would love to have one in mulberry or tweed but yeah I will figure it out which one I will buy ☺️♥️
I understand that you had to make decisions about what colour options to offer, but it is so disappointing that all options you picked for your flagship products (B6 and A5 full year vertical) are so dark! I would have hoped to have at least linen or the pink colour available. Just something that is not so gloomy.
Catherine had mentioned the fairy floss came w/ some issues in previous video. She’s also responded to some comments on this vid that the material had imperfections/flaws when applied to larger planners

For everyone freaking out about the colors/layouts... its ONE YEAR guys... she is not only offering new colors but new layouts... she has more options than ANY planner company out there....give her a break... am i sad that my beautiful TN N1 full year vertical is only one color? Of course.... but guess what? I get that gorgeous mulberry in a different size... this is ONE YEAR... we will all survive - especially if you came from hobinichi where they offered TWO sizes and one layout for each. If the color of your planner makes that much difference, make your own... im sorry but the amount of comments I have seen complaining over "I didnt get what i want" even though she literally gave EVERYONE their horizontal layout in EVERY size is mind boggling. Why don't we thank her and congratulate her and trust that once she sees how each size, color and layout works she WILL give us what we want. Maybe you have forgotten that this is only her THIRD year offering these planners (i think thats right, 2023 right?!) Either way... shes beyond ahead of the game by offering as many options as she is....
Can you imagine how stressful it is, to come out with new planners and sizes and layouts and colors, as a small business - worrying if everyyone will be happy... and then when someone doesnt get what they want simply because of a COLOR... that has to be hurtful. Please remember that she is ONE person who is doing the best she can... she cant go broke because a couple people want x,y,and z.... I 110% trust that once she sees how each planner this does... she will do her very best to bring it for 2026. We are the people paying for the planners. If we don't like something, we have the right to say so. None of these came in pink or Linen and all of them come in green? Who asked for that? As long as no one is being mean or rude, we can say what we think about the choices of colors.

For anyone complaining about the colors, focus on the layout and size first. You can always find a cover online that suits your wants. It might be a bit more costly but if that’s the only thing stopping you from getting your favorite one, it’s a suggestion.
All I've ever wanted was a full size A5 Hobonichi Weeks -- your A5 horizontal common planner is everything I've been looking for!! I hope it's popular enough that you release more colors next year but the Mulberry with gold pages is going to look amazing. I think it’s wonderful that there are so many options to choose from for 2025, I just wish the B6 horizontal came in the compact size. There are just way too many blank gridded pages in the horizontal full year for me, especially since there’s a blank gridded page opposite each of the weekly horizontal pages. Oh, well, it’s the B6 vertical compact for me this year! Thank you, Catherine for your wonderful products!
And I wish someone would make the A5 or B5 vertical week planner and/or the daily planner in 68 gsm paper like the take a note planner ..and in one book (not splitting the year into two.) The pages are not transparent in the take a note planner.

Re: colors, this is just my opinion, but I think the kind of randomness of the colors with the different sizes is what's tripping folks up, not the limited availability, which is completely understandable. No one wants you to waste money on unsold product! I know you said in a previous video that you didn't want to just have neutrals but maybe having one new color a year and offering it in the most popular sizes then having everything else available in black or black and camel would cut down on color complaints. Just my two cents as a person who doesn't use covers.❤
What a well thought out comment! I think you are right. that is totally where some of the disappointment comes from. That's the part I was gutted about is the pink coming in only one single size/layout configuration. I agree with I'd rather just see one new color a year with a brown option rather than seeing a color I love and it not being on hardly any planners. Forest is not a neutral to me though so seeing that as the only option for a planner would hurt my soul lol!! I get there are production issues with the pink which totally stinks but I would have loved to just know upfront when the pink color was even announced that it was very limited and only in ONE planner. Like ripping the bandaid off immediately so there were no expectations from the start.
Thank you for your suggestion. The issue is that there are people who absolutely cannot do black or brown or green or blue or pink or some other color. Even when I offered all five colors in all sizes, I still received complaints that there wasn't a beige option or grey or light brown. Trust me I get emails every day about this during launch. People think pink is so great, but the issue is that pink is our least selling color across ALL products by a long shot I only keep bringing it back because I really like a neutral pink. So honestly I didn't even think it would be an issue that it was offered in one size. People requested for pocket and are disappointed about A6 offering less options, but honestly I don't even know why I produce products in these sizes because they do not sell. But I am bringing them into the line up for the die hard fans of pocket and A6. So the conclusion is that no matter what I do, there would still be people disappointed no matter what, we just happen to see them more visibly because I also upload more videos and more content overall. I know there are things that don't look straightforward, and there is a reason why bigger brands only offer very limited size and layout. But I am here to bring the options to people who really want something in a specific size and while doing that I am trying to provide some new colors so we are not all using a beige or black planner.

I learned over the years that some people are just not going to be kind in the manner they comment. I sincerely hope my comments showed how much I truly love your products! Thank you so much for creating these videos to show specifics for the varieties and sizes, and break them down into smaller videos (and providing time stamps) so it’s easy to compare ‘side to side’ coming as close as you can in a video to actually holding the product in your hands. I really enjoy the variety available making it easy to suit what needs I have/want in a planner/journal (the hard part is the deciding!!!) I’m so impressed by your commitment and as the daughter of a business owner, I know the huge amount of time, emotional stress and physical demand, that goes into running a small business and I wish you the best of success. It may be helpful as things grow to create separate planner covers so people can have a Sterling-Ink cover in the color they want. Or, develop a relationship with cover companies that you recommend for a variety of reasons, and reduce the cover color drama. For me, of course I have colors I like over others, but I know I’m going to put a cover on it because I like a large cover that I can keep things I need in it, protect the planner from me spilling stuff all over it (I’ve ruined two MacBooks…I’ve learned my lesson!) and have that be quick and easy. That works for me. It’s the innards that I’m focused on, and you have created exactly what I need on the inside pages, as well as a great variety because I want something small for my purse that interacts well with the larger one that doesn’t always travel. Having the same format in large and small is going to make my life much simpler!!! One question: Can you (or anyone) direct me to the pricing for each item? I need to budget for the total and see if I need to combine orders to avoid potential shipping fees.

Like I said before, most of these books will be in beautiful leather or fabric covers. A few will be in clear plastic. I had a journal that I covered with a paper that had my favorite flower printed on it. Then placed in a clear cover. I’m sure that the most important part of the books are the TR paper. First off, I want to say how much I LOVE how you have done these videos. They are so clear and perfectly organized and I know it must have taken so long to make them. WELL DONE!!
I am so so happy I have a few of the planners/sizes I wanted available in the mulberry at least. I have LOVED Sterling Ink from the very start and will continue to purchase your planners year after year because they are some of the absolute best out there. They have always been in my top faves videos since release and they will continue to be a part of those top faves. My color disappointment doesn't change that.
Just as one of the ones who is pretty heartbroken about the lack of pink options when we were shown the pink in the very beginning of launch season...I wish you had been able to tell us from the very beginning that the pink was only in one single configuration and maybe us pink girlies wouldn't have gotten our hopes up so much. I know you did say not all colors come in every option which I totally understand, but to have it as part of the initial reveal for it to only be used on one single configuration was just painful. I watched the first two videos excitedly thinking there was barely any pink so far so surely a5 is gonna have the pink! Then was absolutely gutted to find out the pink only comes in the week size in one single configuration. I guess it was just the way the entire release was laid out in sections that continued to get my hopes up personally. Like, obviously I will survive, and it's not the end of the world, just disappointing. I just with you had been able to tell us in the beginning, "and fairyfloss only comes in weeks size xx configuration only" right as you made the color announcement.
I was actually not intending to get a weeks size to attempt to streamline my planner stack sizing to just TN and A5 (I used a6, a5, tn, and weeks sizes Sterling Inks this year!). But now I will be getting weeks size again for next year because THAT is how much I love pink!!
Yeah I thought the pink would at least be in the flagship A5 or B6, just wished it was made known that it’s only available in one size and configuration. But luckily I have a 2nd choice colour so all is good

I love these looks. But I wonder? If this is the 1st year with all these new sizes (mostly the smaller) , why risk having them with selected colors. I am curious to know why it's not the onyx as a standard base (like when you showed off the monthly booklets)🤔 since some people will get turned off by certain colors (you are essentially adding another sales variable) and give ur common B5/A5 that you normally sell, the whole range of colors? I'm genuinely curious. I'm still excited for launch day, i have an alarm reminder set so i can wake up on time! 😅 ❤

I have watched all the videos and I am amazed. Catherine you are a living example of how the use of a planner can help one be organised, be productive and achieve goals.
I mean you home school, journal, do your art, run a business and shoot videos !
I know it's not easy and I for one am happy with the variety of books you offer. I'm not even that concerned with the colours as long as there are some dark colours available. Last year I missed out on the pre order so I think this staggered system should work better. :-)
An edit to say that there is never a perfect planner book that will satisfy everyone. Part of the "fun" is adapting a book to suit my needs.
For example, for my main daily planner, I prefer vertical layouts because that's how my brain works. This year I used an A5 vertical full year as my faith planner (using the blank pages) and an A6 as a gratitude journal.
Watching the videos, I had a light bulb moment when I realised I could combine the two in a horizontal full year. The horizontal sections for gratitude and daily faith using the blank pages. :-))

@@SterlingInk I love the way the colours complement each other- when you put the Onyx, Mist, Caramel and Tweed etc all together. I don't like pale colours like pink but that's just my personal preference. I love the other colours. ❤
You certainly try to accommodate everyone, thank you and thank you for recognizing that for some of us black is a bit harsh, I have to say that I have something in your Forest, Quartz, mist and Caramel and they are all beautiful colors- mulberry looks beautiful as well! And I have to say that there is always the option to cover your planner with vellum, paper, etc. and have it be the color you want 😘

I'm super excited!! The B6 and A5 vertical come in the colors I wanted and now I just have to stress about WHICH one I want 😂😂 and those little booklets are so chic and handy. I didn't know I wanted one and now I do.

I think I found my planner for 2025. The daily planner, seems simple and minimal. Only use tracker and the daily pages in my Hobonichi currently.

I keep telling myself that I don’t “need” the passport and/or the B6 in mulberry because I do my main planning in an A5 plus project planning in booklets, and I’m going to bring a compact B5 into the mix that I’m super excited about…and then I see the mulberry and how cute it is, and I feel divided all over again! 😍 “It’ll be so pretty next to the forest,” my brain adds 😉

So excited. I thought I was going to get a hobonichi weeks because I love that layout. Only thing is, I wish it was a little bit bigger. B6 or B6S I’ll have to somehow make a decision. Thank you!
We also have a size similar to the hobonichi weeks called the N2 that was a part of our second launch if you want to check it out!

Have used Hobonichi for 3 years but think I’m switching over since B6 is legit my favorite size journal/planner. A little bummed that the half year only comes in two colors (the mulberry is gorgeous) but the forest and caramel are great bases. I’ll just get creative with my decoration on the cover. Excited to try something new for 2025!

I've already set aside some money in my bank account. Just take my money. All of it. Loved my SI planners and notebooks this year. This year I have a B6 full vertical, 2 "Weeks" verticals, a passport horizontal, an A5 vertical, a blank B6 notebook, and a "standard TN" blank notebook. I am definitely using your products again next year. Can't wait to try some booklets for specific projects!

I don't know on which video to put this comment but I am so excited for the B5 vertical compact plus booklet combo for my planner system in 2025. It's everything I've ever dreamed of in a planner. B5 is the size I need because I only use one planner for three things (work, personal, household) - I have ADHD and need all my planning in one place or I WILL miss something. The A5 vertical weekly is too small for me so I've been using wire-bound B5 vertical planners just for the size and found every single one too distracting - guided side quests that I am compelled to participate in although I gain no value from. I find myself wasting a lot of time covering the distractions! Not to mention, the wires are uncomfortable for left or right handed writing positions (I suppose if one is ambidextrous, it's okay). With the B5 Vertical Compact I can have it all in one place, no distractions, in my own voice, with my own motivations, on fabulous paper so I can use my fountain pens. The joy of planning is returning. Thank you Catherine for understanding the hearts of so many planner people!

This year I really wanted to combine faith and gratitude in one book and also not to have to write out the dates for every single day. I was happy to see the new Daily dated planner but thought I would have to still use a separate, smaller book
for gratitude.
This morning I was sitting looking at my notes on the Dated Daily when I realised it has 37 blank pages at the back. 💡 moment! That's more than enough pages to allocate one or two pages per month for gratitude and still have some spare!

What a great lineup! You've definitely outdone yourself Catherine!! It was a bit surprising to hear that not many people ordered the pinks in the past. I ordered both the B6 Avec style planners in Mauve ('23) and Quartz ('24). But it's all good. I'm excited for the Horizontal B6 Slim Compact. However, I just might opt for the two B6 Slim mini Mauve notebooks I ordered yesterday and the black notebook coming in Sep... that's a possible game changer (and I still get my pink!) 😸

I’m super stoked to try the A5 vertical full year!! This will be my first time as I’m a Hobonichi lover but I don’t like dated dailies. It feels like a waste of paper because I like just having notes as needed. I do that now with dates & then index in the front of my hobo but I don’t wanna have to do that. I’m excited for this launch!!! ❤❤❤❤🎉

The A5 daily dated planner is great! Only wish it had weekly spreads! I would definitely consider mulberry with gold edges
With weeklies it’s basically a common planner which does come in mulberry 😅

@@chocolatedoclet The monthlies and weeklies are dated, the daily pages aren't so you could use as much or as little space as you needed for journaling on the daily pages

I feel you. I keep trying undated planners and by March, I’m fed up of dating pages 😅 I think I like the IDEA of free space to use however I want more than the reality of it.
Such a great release and love the new colors. It’s only sad that you choose the same colors in vertical compact for N1 and B6 🥲 would love to have one in mulberry or tweed but yeah I will figure it out which one I will buy ☺️♥️

I understand that you had to make decisions about what colour options to offer, but it is so disappointing that all options you picked for your flagship products (B6 and A5 full year vertical) are so dark! I would have hoped to have at least linen or the pink colour available. Just something that is not so gloomy.
Catherine had mentioned the fairy floss came w/ some issues in previous video. She’s also responded to some comments on this vid that the material had imperfections/flaws when applied to larger planners
