I used to live near Baltimore Maryland and the aquarium there is hands down one of my favorite childhood memories. I have yet to see another as good. This video dug up a lot of nostalgia for me.
I got the great fortune to dive with blacktips, sand tigers, brown, and nurse sharks twice a month volunteering at the South Carolina Aquarium. It's awesome. Super cool animals.
I went to Baltimore with my dad in like 2015 I think I thought about going there but wasn't able to cause it was really expensive! Although I got to go on all the historic ships and I got to go into the science museum for free, because I met a nice lady who I talked to for awhile, she gave me her wrist band and so I got to go into the museum for free
I used to live in Maryland, and we would go to the Aquarium when I was young. I love this place, I now live in Georgia, and I prefer it over the Georgia Aquarium.
Theres a aquarium called the Newport Aquarium and there they have a shark tank that you can pet the sharks in. I went with a bunch of friends for like 4-5 hours and they left me at the sharks for like 2-3 hours i just could not get enough of them
Coral is not very difficult to take care of if you know what you're doing. I have 3 aquariums and one is a saltwater coral tank. My first coral is 3 years old and is still alive.
I was there for the opening of the exhibit and one of the sharks grabbed a fish, then the others closed in. Poor fishy didn't last long. It was over very quickly.
and that's when you realized you were half shark, half human, and developed the power to speak to sharks and breath under water. And that my friend is your origin story. ty.
They are honestly lucky, all sharks who live in exhibits are given easy food, and won't be as likely to get cancer, not to mention they won't become victims of shark finning.
Any living subject, in captivity for our pleasure, will undergo anxiety obviously. Removing them from their 'natural' environment, will create additional anxiety...unless they're on the verge of extinction. Then, we as humans, can only provide the important essentials for them and not try to manipulate. Research can be done naturally w/o creating additional stresses to anything.
Well, it may be easier for them to be held in captivity. They are given food for free, they woon't get cancer. And there is no risk of them getting hunted.

I totally want the job of sculpting and painting faux reef! Looks fun.

Some would say that building the new exhibit was a very amfishous project.
Nice catch. Trace meant to say 750 SPECIES, not countries. Slip of the tongue, sorry about that.
Shark Week AND Geek Week? Best way to end summer in my book!xD

Well, Guam is an island in the pacific. It's in the West side of the island at the center of a shopping plaza.

750 countries? Otherwise, loved this. Excellent content.
So, where can I buy one? :)
you can train basically any animal above a certain size
What!? You were in Maryland and didn't tell me! D: I live there! At least I can see this exhibit.
I was there for the opening of the exhibit and one of the sharks grabbed a fish, then the others closed in. Poor fishy didn't last long. It was over very quickly.
No, no it wasn't. It was in the middle of a gala celebrating the opening of the exhibit. That fish was supposed to be a neighbor, not food.
You know, that's exactly what I said at the time!
What is the rarest mineral I can't tell?
SO cute!
I must go. Those are my favorite sharks.
Trace obviously visited Gliese 581..
This video makes me want to become a marine biologist.

It's shark week, what did you expect? Tigers?
and that's when you realized you were half shark, half human, and developed the power to speak to sharks and breath under water. And that my friend is your origin story. ty.

yah i don't have money but if i ever want to go someplace awesome i will think about guam
Its shark week, what do you expect?
Does that mean that dogs are stupid? Or sharks super smart? :P When I look at my dog, I do see some fish-brain now and then ^^
But in a large tank like that I imagine it would be very difficult to reach and feed so it'd probably be difficult if it was real
1:52 sand tiger shark in the back round
I found Dory!
I went there
It's illogical to expect people to use logic in the RUclips comment section.
That is why you thought you were 12th when you were actually 15th.
Lol I was there a few months ago!
I'm not usually like this but I sorta feel bad for the sharks...the whole physical exam doesn't look very pleasant.
Did I hear right... 750 countries?
Well, commenting is obviously the right thing to do.
From 750 countries? Aren't there only about 196 countries in the world?
Lol ive touched a sharlk its called a dogfish they also feel like sandpaper
why did you almost break your monitor was i supposed to punch the sloth with a crown
3:54 "From over 750 countries"? Since when were there 750 countries? I thought there was only 196, where'd the other 554 come from?
Well, it may be easier for them to be held in captivity. They are given food for free, they woon't get cancer. And there is no risk of them getting hunted.
week's almost over be patient.
Sharks are adorable. But not as adorable as rays. I want a video on rays! After shark week is over that is.
Kick rocks!
wouldnt it be easier just taking some coral reef from the sea instead of painting some rocks
This was posted a year before FNAF!
I want a shark

You made it on the 15th comment including the one guy that removed his comment.
I'm guessing you can't count.
