It’s altogether if you get mods for it it becomes a 5/5 for everything
I'm on console so I can't unfortunately, but I've seen footage of gameplay with mods and it looks like 6/5 across the board the driving is already sweet out of the box, just needed a bit of polish. Properly impressive game for something as old as it is!
where to get the mods from?
I wouldn't want to recommend without checking personally as I'm on console these days, so couldn't say where the best place is right now. But there are quite a few reputable sources of assetto corsa pc mods in the first few results on google.

Bruh you need to Set the Graphics to Maximum before saying theyre "OK"
he said he was on console, but even then vanilla ac's graphics are alright
The graphics on maximum aren’t all that great on ac

Just bought this about 3 days ago for PS for $5.99 and I'm impressed. Been on GT7 for so long that I wasn't too sure about trying to get on another racing Sim but Assetto pretty much got me hooked. I'm very impressed. Graphics is about right with a 3/5 but everything else is so good it literally does not matter in the slightest.
Yeah I'd agree. Graphics are definitely way behind GT games, but they're easily good enough and the driving more than makes up for the small drop in detail. Enjoy, and thanks for watching.
Also depends if you get it on pc or ps4/5 because you can get it really cheap for the ultimate edition (many more vehicles) for pc but on ps you have quite a lot of dlc’s for the cars
And on Pc modders are your friend. There are loads of mods for graphics and weather etc. It's a nit more limited on console, but still well worth it.

It may be an old game, bit still has the best physics in my opinion

I've never played on xbox, but I'd imagine it is pretty comparable to the playstation version. Still very, very good, even without the mods you can add on pc.

If you have wheel then 100% recommend,grab it with all dlc on sale plus modding is limitless
I had a wheel but had to sell it, well i made sure not to waste AC, I've made it work on controller, just take a while to get used to it

I have it for a few years now and i really like it, but now im waiting for assetto corsa evo.
the physics are weird to me (saying with 700 hours)
the variety and customization very much adds up for it
the best part of it is mods. it will fix the graphics problem and u can install additional cars

🌌It’s only worth playing if you buy it on steam/ Pc. I still play it to this day and I never get bored of it. This game has stood the test of time. Other titles like Nfs, Forza, Crew, and random drag or drift games have just bored me to death. And those titles lose my attention span so quick, and then I go play Assetto Corsa or Bo3 zombies.🌌
Buy it for like 2$ in my country during summer sale
My only issues with the game:
Sound design is really bad in my opinion
Graphics can look really bad at times
Online on pc is a bit of a mess
Game’s controls will break for any reason
Besides that it’s pretty good
With you on the sound, it's not great, but it's an old game and it still drives really well.
@@perengerin yeah its modding community is the best of any racing game, my only real problem i care about right now is the sound and ai
Modded Assetto Corsa changes everything. Get mods and everything is a 5/5.
I think it’s heavily underrated yes it’s lacking in some areas but for the price and how active it is on Xbox can’t moan at all

@@jacobtheidot can range from like 20-10 servers depending on time of day but I’ve never gone on and its been dead its always active

ACC by far the best sim in my opinion.
Indeed it took a few years for Kunos to catch up but now only i racing can compete against it. Xbox doesn't really have GT racing games so this is the go too option.
I’m gonna have to say iRacing is better. ACC is fun, but iRacing is the best racing sim I’ve ever played
I just brought assetto corsa on Series X, and i have problems turning, and i think breaking
If you're on controller it's worth spending some time getting that set up. It's not as bad as in project cars 2, but spending some time setting up dead zones and sensitivity etc, makes a massive difference.
Some one please help me out is this the game when you can do free play in the city or country side not just race tracks ?

I think the open world one you're thinking of is Forza Horizon. Assetto Corsa is track based but it is really good and extremely cheap.

That looks awful. With all mods it is probably the best racing game I've ever seen. Don't let this put you off
It's not worth it if u don't playing it on PC (with mods!)
Definitely a lot better on PC. But there are still a lot of reasons to try this on console. It still feels better than most console race sims because the fundamentals were right. Thanks for watching 👍😁
How to do it in third person view
Iam struggling in first person view
First person is harder but more realistic. Check your controller/keyboard settings and it will tell you what to press for third person, it varies but you'll always find the correct option in your input settings. Thanks for watching. 😎👌
How can you rate it when you play on a controller
You can still get a good feel for it on controller, especially the more modern ones. I'd agree that I'd struggle to be competitive in a race with competent players on a wheel, but you can certainly get by enough to enjoy the game and get the most from it. Thanks for watching :)

They are easily good enough, the realistic driving makes you forget that the models on GT and Forza are a little bit better.
