You might be the first foreigners I've seen eat with the SPOON!!! That is the Filipino way! I think because a lot of our food is so saucy and gelatinous. I'm in the US so most places here don't even give you a spoon unless there is soup haha. Kudos to you for figuring that out early. So much easier with a spoon!

I have been to Cebu a couple years ago, and one of my memorable experience is eating pork suckling at House of Lechon. I have tried the Rico’s, Zubuchon, and a few others, but House of Lechon stood out from the bunch. Cebu is famous for lechon… Please don’t miss it! Again, thanks for your videos. Sisig is my favorite Filipino food. First time I tried it I didn't know it was pig's face and I loved it. Later I found out it was pig's face but I was already addicted so it didn't bother me that much. Crunchy Sisig with beer, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Great video! Sisig may be found in most big cities in PH but that's originally from Luzon. But in Cebu & the islands, the food highlight for us would always be STK, that's the offering of the restaurant you went which you sadly missed. It's an acronym for the 3 different traditional ways we cook seafood (before the Chinese introduced cooking in oil): S- Sugba or grilled T- Tuwa or boiled K- Kilaw or cooked in vinegar / calamansi citrus (same as ceviche but that's lemon based). Other street food you can try- siomai dumplings w/ chili garlic oil, ngohiong (bamboo shoot spring rolls in Chinese 5 spice), Cebu chorizo and of course pusô (hanging rice, very unique to Central Visayas). Enjoy your stay!

Crossing the streets in the Philippines is a certified game of chance, you can bet your life on it. Be very careful when crossing a busy street because it's not fun being run over by a car. That fan you just bought is called lollipop fan because of how it looks. A lot of foreign vloggers are complaining about the hot and humid weather in the country, as if they haven't realized it yet that they are visiting a tropical country. Now that you've found a solution to the weather problem, albeit temporary, there's no reason for them not to follow in your footsteps and try to find a way to ease their discomfort. It is said that travel broadens one's horizon, and that is evident in your vlogs as you try to imbibe the experience and appreciate it for what it is. Always take care and be safe.
It’s crazy! In Thailand we get safe crossing even though it was chaotic.. here it’s a little different. People doesn’t seem as likely to stop 😂 There is always a solution to a problem!
