Good deal...we never lost NG during a storm (even during Katrina)..I'll be selling the diesel and going NG gas powered soon here as well..Thanks for the video.
I just bought the same one just need to find the time to put it on,figured it be a good thing to have since lines where crazy long at the gas station during hurricane sandy. This year i'll be prepaired.. Great Video!!
Good stuff! I have it, but still haven't installed it. I will have to employ a plumber for the installation because I know NOTHING about installing it. Don't want to make a mistake. Thanks for sharing.
Great subject! I've been rearching generator options myself. Like you did, I store gas. I don't have natural gas but propane is an option for me. It stores better than gas that's for sure.
I'd love to have a larger gen that could run my house. I'm stuck at 3500 watts right now. If I ever get a bigger one, I can definitely see adding the tri fuel option. Nice work.
I love mine and have only had to use it once since it was installed but so much easier than monkeying around with gasoline and worrying about it going bad or gumming up the carb.Great investment that you hope you never have to use.. Take care.
The way this one works is that you do not have to remove the regulator to use gasoline. That is another reason i put the valve coming off the regulator. I can close that valve, open the petcock valve on the gasoline tank and run it with the gasoline. Like lightupthedark said in his comment, I would call the manufacturer and size up the proper regulator to the generator.
I just bought a Generac 10K..However I would love to have the ability to change back and forth from gas to propane. Do you think the tri fuel kit would be just as easy to uninstall and go back to gasoline on the fly without a problem? Also is there a minimum PSI for the natural gas or propane to run the motor properly? How did the motor run with a load on it? I would also assume that the manufactures warranty would be void if it was converted with this kit and problems accrued internally.
Nice! Be sure to shut off cut off valve AND the valve that feeds the hose after each use. Just in case hose gets a leak. Great video.

Thanks brother, i have been looking at that very thing for the last 3 weeks.
Its nice having natural gas, very passive system and goes on and on after the lights have long left. Nice install Fubie!
$19 is well worth it. Leaks make houses go away. Great video
Looking good brother

Nice job there fub.i think ill be looking into switching to natural gas especially after the last hurricane that passed through here.
Did you have to adjust the valve at the output line from your regulator? To make sure it is efficient as possible? Thank kind Sir.

What hose and hose ends are you using?
Very nice..

I would think you could take your generator and the kit to a local lawnmower shop and they could install it for you.
