It happens... I had the same issue with my first roll, I was so excited I remember I watched a tutorial on how to load my camera (a Canon AE-1) so I wouldn't mess anything up (I did), I wrote down the shutter speed and aperture of every single photo to keep track of any possible problems with the camera and was overall really really excited to be shooting on film for the first time. Imagine my disappointment when I received a call from my lab not even an hour after I had dropped my film telling me that the roll was completely blank. Apparently, the film never got caught in the taking spool, so I just shot 36 photos of nothing... Let me know how the pictures come out :) Glad you found the tutorial useful
If you are refering to the button that you press in most cameras before rewinding the film, this camera does not have one, in this case you need to turn the lever on the right hand side on the bottom plate on the camera (it has a letter R just below it), you can see it in the video at 1:54

Any standard 35mm film will work
I was really confused with this camera frame counter it counts other way around starts from 36 not 1. but still thanks for video
