Thank you so much for joining us at the Blue Lagoon! 🥰 Going through all the footage from that day had us both laughing way too hard hahaha. This is one of those videos that make me feel SO glad that we document all our adventures, because one day, when we’re 80 years old, we’ll pull this baby back up for a good laugh. 😂 It’s funny how taking a couple hours to enjoy a nice, outdoor spa, really gave us a fresh kick of energy and fun, and I love that we get to share it with you all. 😁 Here are all the Get Your Guide tickets we used in Reykjavik, and as always, if you are going to book any of the things we did, consider using our link, because it helps support our channel! 🤗 What we experienced in Reykjavik: 🧖🏻♀ Blue Lagoon Spa Package with Transportation: bit.ly/3RjN6L2 ✈ Fly Over Iceland Experience: bit.ly/3dTWJCr 🚌 Airport Bus Transfer to/from Reykjavik: bit.ly/3dWOe9z Other experiences we recommend in Reykjavik: 💫 Full Day Tour of the Golden Circle: bit.ly/3LOuEci ☁ Sky Lagoon Spa Package: bit.ly/3Rfd6ak ❄ Golden Circle Tour with Glacier Snowmobiling: bit.ly/3UXN12G Stay tuned for the start of our epic van life road trip around Iceland, coming live in FIVE DAYS!!! 🎉 Claire (and Chad) 🤍
What a coincidence. We’re the group of 17 Filipinos from the US of A making so much noise behind you. We had so much fun. Thank you for sharing this video❤️
Thank you so much for acknowledging the giant Asian family having the best time of our senior lives. That was our group behind you making all that noise. 😂😂😅
Such a wonderful experience! Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel like I'm there with you experiencing and enjoying those beautiful places! And I love that the videos are longer now! Thank you! ❤
Thanks for taking us along on your Icelandic trip! I was quite impressed with the Blue Lagoon. The Icelandic people are so into innovation. You payed for everything with the bracelets on your wrists. Everything was super clean. The Fly Over Iceland feature had to be a blast too. Eating those Icelandic hot dogs had to be delicious because you ate 2.5 Icelandic hot dogs a piece that were equivalent to eating 5 U.S. hot dogs! I cannot wait until your next Icelandic video comes out.
I agree with you guys, Iceland certainly is unique but also a bit expensive! That spa looks so healthy and relaxing you must have felt great afterwards.
Amazing journey as always. Iceland is so beautiful! hopefully I can travel there one day. Your vlogs are simply the best.. you always capture the best places😉💯❤️
Once again, a great video. Although James & I did a different (more remote) hot spring rather than the Blue Lagoon, your video prompted us to look at our photos and map from our 2018 drive around Iceland. Aside from the ill-fated rental Citroën, and perhaps pushing a bit hard to stay on schedule some days, we truly remember that trip as one of the most scenic... waterfalls, glacial bays, paint pots, volcanoes, and horses with stylish hairdos too 😀... way to go, you two! Peace and Happy Travels.
I just got back from Iceland two days ago and I was there for 11days and omg what an experience it was. I am still swooning and have to pinch myself to believe the trip actually happened. So surreal so absolutely mind blowing. I will definitely be visiting again I can't stop thinking about my time there. Love that I get to relive my trip through your videos
I’m so excited to see your van travels on the ring road! Iceland is by far my favorite place. It’s so peaceful, especially once you get past Vik and the tour bus routes. Happy travels!
This was the best overview of a day at BL. You guys helped me to decide on the Premium package over the Spa Retreat package. This was based on your super attitude and the enjoyment you experienced with the general lagoon. We have a party of 3 and you have to pay full price $635 at the Retreat Spa for just one person. It is the same price for 1 person as it is for 2 people! I feel we should save our money and just book into the Retreat Hotel at a later date. Unfortunately, the Blue Lagoon hotels had no availability during our stay in Iceland. 😭
Awesome Channel! i found you by searching for the (blue lagoon movie) and going to google images. your beautiful face popped up. so Cute! awwww and your married. darn, lol...enjoy traveling this beautiful globe with hubby ! ;-)
This video made me so nostalgic. I went to Iceland in 2018 and the blue lagoon was such a wonderful experience. My partner loved the Gull beer and he asked for it in a few places and the locals were so confused because it's pronounced "Guk" 😂
I was in Iceland the same time you guys were there but we did the Ring Road while you guys were in Reykjavik and then we left when you guys started your van journey there. Would’ve been cool to meet you guys. 😊
Wait I was watching this to plan for my iceland trip and then realized I actually did a 48 hour film festival with chad when I was in high school omg hi
Technically Iceland is considered part of the Nordic region instead of Scandinavia. The Nordic includes Iceland, Finland and the 3 Scandinavian nations of Norway, Sweden and Denmark
@@DrunkViking those are not countries though :) Greenland and Faroe Islands are basically a part of Denmark, and Åland Islands is a part of Finland. Even though they are autonomous or self-governing :)
Great video guys !! I’ll be there in a few days . QUESTION: should i be worry about my video equipment ( tripod, cell stick etc) getting wet cus the minerals etc in that water ??
I would try to limit your equipment if possible and if you can just don't even put it into the water. But if you do put it in the water it shouldnt be a problem.
While the Blue Lagoon is a bit of a tourist trap, it is still fun and you get what you paid for. The area is indeed quite massive and even on a busy day, you can find a spot where you can be a bit separated (you can still see other people, but you do not have to squeeze right next to them for a spot). You usually get one mask and one drink for free. When you get a bit cold after a while adapting to the temperature, you can go to certain spots where the pumps are pumping the hot water from down below and it ups the temperature in that area a bit so you can snuggle in again^^ Or just go outside and go back in after a few minutes. I cannot recommend the restaurant. While it's not bad, it pales in comparison to others in the area...and it is even more pricey. Hence, tourist trap^^ For a nice drink and milk shake, I would recommend "Lebowski" in Reykjavik. Not sure if you can still get a White Russian nowadays, but their shakes are really good. Since you already had the HotDogs, there are only two food items that can top that: a piece of that amazing lamb and fresh prawns. Have fun on Iceland! Oh, and BTW, it is not really "Scandinavia" since only Norway, Denmark and Sweden are considered that, but being inclusive, they usually lump Iceland and Finland in, too^^
Pretty late to answer, but they do indeed still do White Russians, as it is the staple of that bar (They even have a separate White Russian menu with many different types of White Russians, my favorite being the COCOA PUFFCASIAN, a White Russian with Cocoa Puffs in it). Since the theming of the bar is The Big Lebowski, then of course they would have to serve White Russians there
Soooooooo. We ALMOST went over our 90 day limit, but luckily we didn't. So we wont be returning to the Schengen countries for a while. On the way out our passport control person said, I hope you're not coming back for a while haha.
Did the Lagoon water leave your hair feeling funny afterwards, or did the conditioner help? Also does the spa offer conditioner, or should you bring your own?
Hi kids, omg so beautiful there. My daughter and her hubby went there yrs ago, they too loved it there. Brought back some chocolate for me, the blue lagoon is so nice. Love the clay masks, bet your skin feels so good. Looking forward to what your doing next. Also Claire , I love your bikini ! Where did you get it ? You have the same taste in clothes etc that I do, always love your dresses too. Stay safe, have fun ! Thanks so much for the tour, my daughter agrees the hotdogs are awesome. She doesn’t normally like hotdogs, so that’s huge she loved them 🌹
I do like what you guys are doing - explored/exploring the US and the world - though I am curious - when did you travel to Michigan and what did you guys do?
When I Was there 7/10 people would be filming at any given time. So annoying. Just enjoy the experience. There's hundreds of videos about the Blue Lagoon, you're not getting famous, let it go....... 🙄
Great video, although I have to admit that I was kind of neutral about the Blue Lagoon. Glad I went, but wouldn't bother going back, it seemed too "manufactured" and "artificial" to me. Kind of like saying "I don't have to go to France, I saw it at EPCOT." Guess I'm not really a "spa person", not really into putting mud on my face. I hope everyone else enjoys it though.
U deserve more views for your videos in my opinion but somehow I think maybe something is missing. Would love to see the guy take the lead in the video tours for a change.
Iceland is considered Nordic FYI. Not Scandinavian. Also, the high amounts of silica in the water is damaging to your hair which is why you're required to condition it if you plan on getting it wet.
It is nice nature, a wonder of nature but people there are crude racists who look down on Asians, who nowadays we don't encounter even in the classic UK so I don't want to visit there. You are a brave woman visiting such a place of Vikings.

I was just about to say this 😊 I'm Finnish and I'm always correcting people who mix up the Nordic countries and Scandinavia 😄
