    Thanks so much for this! I am a TurboCAD veteran and LibreCad is so similar that I have no trouble following this tutorial. I look forward to seeing more in-depth tutorials.

    Wow! Of all the videos I watch as a complete noob, this is by far the most educational. Applies to many of the questions I needed answered. I did have to pause and rewind 100 times, but I learned a ton. Thank you very much! Please make more LibreCAD videos. I build custom gates for a living and this is very handy. Would be thrilled to see a video of you creating a gate. Subscribed!

    While I have worked with LibreCAD for a couple of years, this really helped as I watched you use features I could not intuit from the menus.
    Another thing that would help people get up to speed is a glossary of terms. Terms for drawing in general and terms specific to LibreCAD. I find I do not know how to talk about the drawing elements, or the work flow because it is a vocabulary I do not have.

    Hi, new to cad drawing. Your videos have helped allot. I'm wondering if you could show if possible how you can make a stitching pattern? For leather templates. Or if there is a plugin that would help.
    Thanks
    Steve.

    completely new at this program and I'd say this not a video for a complete beginner. Some knowledge required otherwise prepare yourself to watch this video 20 times as the instructor moves quite fast.

    I can't get past the Trim Two. I go to Modify, select the tool and the cursor goes to a fuzzy plus. The bottom panel says "Select first trim entity", but when I go to select a line, nothing happens. It won't select anything. I doubled and tripled checked that I'm on the right layer, but still nothing. Anyone else have such issues?

    In the template you have “Drawing Title” etc. is there a way to change that attribute in the drawing that uses the template? I know in some others CAD programs there is a document parameters page that list such attributes and the template would be something like “*Title” which allows user editing of that attribute.

    • @forresterickson6225
      @forresterickson6225 3 года назад +1

      Michael,
      The "Drawing Title" is of LibraCAD type: MText. You will edit it in the drawing not by any parameter.
      Steps:
      Good idea to first Unselect everything with CTRL K
      Menu TOOLS > MODIFY> PROPERTIES
      Then with the left mouse, select the MText that you want to modify and the dialog will open just as it was when the MText was created.
      Hope this helps.

      Did you ever figure out how to modify existing text? I'm trying to figure that out myself.

    • @radpaul2574
      @radpaul2574 Год назад

      @@aaronzelt2853 I would redo the bottom boxes as a separate layer, then add another layer for just the text to edit later. i had trouble editing the text when the copied boxes were on the same layer. I just couldn't select mtext separately.

      The speed at which this guy moves is far too fast for a tutorial. I understand he has a lot of ground to cover, but dang! It'll take me some time to understand all the questions I have.
