I love her song the version the most out of them
Kerrie-Anne for the win! Her song is by far the best. I don't think it's dated at all
I feel the same. People who say it is outdated clearly hasn't listened to the charts in years. It is so contempary and could make it in our charts now with more publicity
To me it sounds a bit like 2012 dance music

I don't understand why people keep saying Sweet Lies by Kerrie Ann is dated. It is the most contempary song in the selection. It is similar to Sigala who is still in the charts now.
We all want a reaction to Festival da Canção
I get why Deban didn't like Sweet Lies but as someone who didn't grow up with that decade, it doesn't feel dated to me at all but instead reminds me of something Sigala or Calvin Harris would have released in the past couple of years. It's purposely throwback in a way that gives it personally beyond standard Eurovision fare. If Dance You Off and Friend of a Friend can win their NFs with this synth heavy style, this can definitely do the same, and I think this is more immediate than both. Plus, most importantly of all, it's the most fun song of the season so far, aside from La Venda.
(and yes I am ignoring the existence of the other version of that song lol)

It's between Holly Tandy & Jordan Clarke for me too. And I think I want Jordan to win with Freaks just because it's so catchy and it's not pretending to be anything special.

My personal favourites of the three are 'bigger than us' - Holly, 'freaks' - Jordan and 'sweet lies' - Kerrie-Ann. But all over, I really would like Holly to win

Kerri-Ann is the best. UK if you don't have her there is no point turning up. It's probably not the best Eurovision song so far but it's by far the best out of this group. Michael 2nd best.

All Freaks (Jordan Clarke's version) need to do is change the lyrics and I'm sure it would have been a great song. I thought the song was terrible when I first heard it, but it was the only one that got stuck in my head
Yeah it's not a great song lyrics wise especially but it's got that catchy kind of tune that's hats to get out if your head

SWEET LIES KERRI-ANNE HAS TO WIN! WE COULD WIN EUROVISION WITH THIS!
My favourite is Holly Tandy and I think she would do decently at Eurovision. However, i suspect the judges, whoever they are, are more likely to put Michael's version through to the super final as it's more stereotypical Eurovision (which i dont think is a good thing but this is the BBC so...)
For me Michael Rice is the definite winner. The song is stuck in my head and it sounds epic and powerful. He slays live so this will be amaaazing.
I want him to be in the superfinal but if it's Holly, then Bigger Than Us is still the best song.
I agree with Deban on Anissa being better than Kerrie-Anne. For me Kerrie-Anne's version sounds like sth you hear in a store while shopping. It's a good song but it's the opposite of what Eurovision means.
And honestly, the rest is really forgettable to me. But as we all know, it will come down to the staging, the live performance and vocals

Despite all the negated comments I think Freaks by Jordan will do very well why because its a Eurovision song and after last years winner anyone can win
Isn't anyone concerned about Freaks lifting the melody of Canon in D wholesale? I mean, if the EBU don't take issue, what's it going to look like having an entry that's basically based on one of the most famous German compositions of all time?

I am definitely Team Michael here. Bigger than us is the best song among all of the three and I would prefer Michaels Version over Holly. My number two is Jordan Clarke - allthough the song sounds bit jouvenile, but on the other hand it has much instant appeal. Sweet lies is not my cuppie in neither of the two versions and my last place is Freask from MAID. This is soooo boring.

Im so shocked you guys dont like Anisa's song. It's simpe, not boring. This song will do wonders in Tel Aviv if it gets voted! Lucie Jones and Yohanna vibes! It's the kind of songs that you can shape and manipulate in so many ways, to bring out the best of dramatic angles on stage and play with those verses. She is my absolute favourite.

Both versions of ‘Freaks’ sound like a children’s nursery rhyme or lullaby.
The darker one reminds me of a Halloween themed circus.
Not good either way and my least favourite of the 3 songs.
Micheal Rice is my winner of the other duel with Holly Tandy. Although she sounds fresh and makes it her own, and Michaels version is a little predictable and formulaic, his would stage better and the soaring choruses would elevate the song.
Finally Kerrie literally annihilates Anisa’s version. It may be very ‘Sigala’, but if she knocks the vocals out of the park and throws in an amazing powerful/commanding performance, this one really really stands a chance. It’s a dance floor Euro-banger which I can imagine being successful in Scandinavia and right across Europe.
Over all, Kerrie takes it for me. Michael Rice comes second (third would be Holly Tandy).

Jordan Clarke's - Freaks has the most complete package of all the songs and is really memorable. I'll be voting for Freaks however I think we'll end up sending Kerrie-Anne and it'll fade into obscurity and end up in the bottom 5 of the final.

So rare that I agree with anything that Wiwibloggs says but Holly Tandy did deserve the win. Michael is a dreadful choice, but I guess the BBC don't have the surplus budget to host the show in 2020. Eh.

When I first heard the songs I said Michael as well but Hollys is the most contemporary and has the most potential I'll be voting for her
