I tried an open cup pour using spray paint. It turned out pretty cool. You are such an inspiration!
Ohh that sounds fun!
That blue is so vivid! Gorgeous composition!
Another brilliant painting by you. Love it
What a beautiful painting!!! Thank you for sharing your talent and expertise with us xxx
I really like that you left the edges with the white background. So many times you see those beautiful metallic cells get poured off the edge as the artist tries to cover every square inch. Loved the results here!
Thank you 💕
This is one of my favorite compositions! Amazing color palette! Hugs and blessings ~Cheryl and Mark
Happily rewatching, and especially love these blues! Thank you, Sarah. Hugs ~Cheryl and Mark

Beautiful!! I did a similar color pallet in a ring pour one time and wrecked it with four forks. Came out kinda cool
It’s like a butterfly on a flower. Beautiful!

This is my FAVORITE so far❣️ Wow!!! Hard to believe all that awesome beauty from one teeny, tiny cup. LOL!!! It must be true what they say - GREAT things come in small packages.🥰
Thank you!!
Gorgeous
Beautiful bird in flight 💕💕💕💕💕💕thank you!!!
THIS IS AMAZING, THE COLORS BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL..😁😉
Thank you!!
Definitely a beautiful color palette! Thank you, Sarah! Big hugs ~Cheryl
The dried result is even better with the blue feathering off into the white. Good job.

We love rewatching you create art, Sarah. Big happy hugs ~Cheryl and Mark
I thought it was beautiful then held my breath when you poured white through the middle. Suddenly it was stunningly awesome 👏
Thank you💕💕
This is so beautiful! I have bought some supplies to start trying my hand at this. Would love some instructions ✌️✌️😊😊
Love it
Beautiful!! I was just going to day, I don't know if it's a butterfly or a diving bird. Whatever, it's gorgeous.
Thank you!
We love how you adjust your painting compositions by blowing out areas. Hugs ~Cheryl and Mark
It is so beautiful! Open cup pours are my favorite. Well, those and Ninja Swipes. LOL I need to learn to use vibrant colors like yours. Always intimidate me a little.
I was nervous too and still am at times to use colors that are bright
@@SarahMackArtYou have definitely mastered the skill.
I was getting ready to scream if u were going to move that anymore! So beautiful!
😂😂
Lovely Sarah.
Thanks!
This one I absolutely would buy if I wasn’t poor lol. So so pretty Sarah 😍
love the blues
Thank you!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I see a kingfisher plunging into the water.
Thank you!
another beauty
Love it 😍
Thank you!
I don't know how you don't get more paint on that sweater girl! If it were me it would be a Technicolor sweater
One of our all-time favorites! Hugs Cheryl and Mark
I was thinking butterfly or angel. It's beautiful.
I don't know you, but I love and appreciate your work, advice and beautiful smile. You are an amazing Artist with a Capital A. I see in some posts that you might be having some difficulties. Whatever they are I hope things work out. Much love from Colorado USA!
We love the composition and color palette of this one. Big happy hugs ~Cheryl and Mark
Butterfly in flight , I love it
Thank you!
Beautiful
Thank you ☺️
LOL @ your one glove pour....omgosh Sarah, I'm in the same situation....hahaha I need to go get more, too.... This is STUNNING. I think I need to thin my white down because it's just too thick with certain types of pours and I want to do an open cup pour with fall colors on white! Thanks for the inspiration. Blessings!!! ~ Jan
Yes thin some white down 😊 and you will nail it!
@@SarahMackArt I will do my very best! Thank you for the pro tip.
Very cool cells there are the beginning. I really like the outcome. I'm aiming for that this weekend. BTW . . I just ordered the LOLIVEFE mat with your code! Thanks!
Wonderful!!! Sending you good painting vibes💕
I love this Butterfly... 💞💖💕
Mais um belo trabalho!
Amazing! I yelled at my phone when you added the white at the end cause I already loved it. But it turned out even more beautiful 🦋
Thank you! I was nervous 😬
Sarah Mack Me toooo 😂
I love doing open cup pours! Hugs ~Cheryl
At first I thought „Oh nooo!“ as you grabbed the white again😂 but it’s soooo beautiful right now❣️❣️❣️ And the dried result is over the moon❣️ Love it😍🥰
Thank you!!
Love this...do you have a code for discounts on canvases?
Thank u so much!
Thanks so much for sharing this- gorgeous colors. How did you know to add the white in the middle I wouldn’t have though
I wouldn’t have thought to add the white there but it really took your composition to the next level
I don’t know. I felt like there was just not enough white and decided to add it where it looked like it needed some to balance it
How do I get a bubble mold tray!! I love your video making it. I can’t find anything like it anywhere!! I love you and all your videos❤😊
call it the Joy of Flying!
Just watched this fun pour from your videos. It's just gorgeous & regal in its color palette against the negative white space. I'll have to give this technique a try soon. I like your embellishments or blowouts to the edges as well...makes it fanciful! Do you by chance still have this painting? Looks great in the blue frame. If so send me PM regarding it.
Thought to add the white but it really worked
Mucked up a beautiful open cup pour last night 😭😭 the pre tilt was amazing...then I realized my white was TOO THICK 😭😭 beautiful colored cells went running off like water
I love this. What white pain did you use?
Thank you! I used artist loft flow white in liter bittle
I love these colors but the same thing happened here as happens with me .. the gold swallows up the other colors by the time the painting is dry. Is there a way to prevent that from happening?
You're walking in beauty...! Curious if you've experimented with the Behr house paint ( as a base coating?) you showed you had gotten a few videos ago?
I used it with this one 😊
Can you omit using heat? Will it still be effective?
I have a problem. I’ve been using floetrol and water with my paints. No other additional medium. I was told my paints would crack. If i guess my canvas will this aleviate the issue? I want to either resin coats or spray varnish
Your paints will not crack. I’ve never in over a year and a half had a pour crack from using Floetrol and water. But keep in mind your Floetrol is the medium. Then After you mix the paints...add water if you need to to thin them.
Hello just got into acrylic pouring, this is a nice piece, what are you using for the open cup or how to make one?
Hi so all I did was cut the bottom of a plastic disposable cup :)
@@SarahMackArt cheers
🌷🌻🌷hey hun, the paint in the bottle, is that a pre-mix, a u-mix or a no-mix. It really worked well.
BEAUTIFUL🌺
Paint floetrol and some water 💕💕
Oh My Gosh!! I specifically searched for open cup pouring, saw your name and thought "if I'm going to learn how, no better person." But yours is So Beautiful, I daren't try. Mine will be rubbish now, whatever I create (probably a big mess, lol). You undoubtedly have the gift. Every pour you do is Exceptional. Wow🙀! I appreciate this was a few months ago but if I may ask one small question? Does the white (or base colour) need to be very thin for this technique? Totally understand if you don't have the time to reply. It's still mind blowing and gorgeous. So much pour envy right now😉... Tyfs.C👌🐾🐾
Listen here! You can do this! Or your will do this💕 it’s taken 20 months for me to be where I am at. Everyone is different and some pick things up quicker than others. But patience and practice is key.💕💕 now to answer your question 😊 YES white needs to be thin, almost water thin and the other paints slightly thicker ☺️ you got this!
