hey , thanks for putting up a real honest video about this jailbreak method that populates youtube to a pandemic extent, most of those show the steps and never the results , the cons , or the post aftermath. Now I'm able to make a judgement on wether this worth the effort or the time to do so..
just did this and even though it bypassed, I was left with no service. jailbreaked it again and tried to bypass broken broadband from the tool itself, but it put me back to the hello screen where it doesn't go past the keyboard screen. when i reboot it tells me that I need to activate the phone and then brings the icloud activation lock back up. any comments on what else can be done?
The process would probably be different than what I do in the video, but I think you'd be able to do it for sure. From my understanding, whether or not you're able to do this depends more on how new your version of iOS is rather than the phone model itself.
Honestly, I'm not sure if that's even possible. I learned just recently about how the whole Apple device setup works from a software perspective and there are 2 servers that each iPhone has to pass through when its being set up, 1 that checks for an MDM lock and one that checks for an iCloud activation lock. What I essentially did in the video, even though I didn't fully understand it at the time, was made it so that the iPhone never connected to that activation lock server when setting itself up, which allowed me to get to the homescreen but was really more of a band-aid solution than anything else. I'm thinking that I'll explain this all in another video I'm planning on putting out soon but in the meantime, if you're looking to make some money doing this, I'd recommend trying to bypass the FRP on certain Android phones, as it's usually way easier, lets you actually set up an account on the device, and sometimes doesn't even need a computer. That's not the case all the time, obviously but I was able to actually upgrade to an $1100 flagship by unlocking a locked one I got on ebay for $270

I didn't think that'd be that big of a difference so I looked at those forums. Most of the replies said to download an earlier version of the software and see if it'll run then (website for downloading it on Windows is checkra.win/). If not, then try messing with some of the other options and see if it works. My last theory is that maybe your device has an MDM lock as well as an activation lock, making it double locked, meaning that you're just kinda screwed unfortunately.
You can definitely jailbreak it (3utools supports it at least) but I don't know for sure if you can do the bypass. If you are able to do it though, let me know if there's anything different about it compared to this video.

I don't doubt that this would work with an iPhone 5 but the process may be different than what's shown here and to be honest, I don't really know for sure. I'm kind of learning too.

After pressing alt f2 i am able to select option then when i go back it will skip right over start option what am i missing ????
