This is such a fantastic interview. It really is interesting and eye-opening that so-called REAL JOURNALISTS generally don't come close to asking questions half as interesting and revealing as the ones you do, here. It makes me empathize with the boredom and disinterest Gennadiy must feel when he's asked the same dreary questions over and over and over again by the so-called "professionals" in the media.
Oh man this was a great interview, really well done. I had read an article that you were a boxing fan Chris and then here it is some years later I stumbled on your podcast. So thanks for doing this and I’ll look forward to future stuff on this channel.
GGG was robbed twice! Harold Lederman had GGG winning both fights by the same score: 116-112. This is significant because he watched both fights from a priviliged position for HBO. Likewise, Teddy Atlas had GGG winning both fights and the second fight by a score of 117-112. Again, Teddy Atlas was there in person and watched the fight from a priviliged position. The vast majority of the media had GGG winning both fights.
Im guessing your a casual fan chris...just a heads up here...roy jones jr came down from beating ruiz for the heavyweight tiltle..25lbs of muscle was put on to do this and then dropped to come back down for tarver...think about that..no incrimentle weight added on the way up or taken off coming back down...when roy got the heavyweight title and came back down he was done...the magic had gone..the body couldnt take it....from that moment on roy was ' past' his prime....in his prime he was untouchable🥊💣💥....and 100% GGG won both fights with canelo..the 1st was a clear win ..the 2nd much closer but again a golovkin win!
My dudes, GGG 100% won the 1st fight. He 110% lost the 2nd one, more convincingly than he won the 1st. I love GGG and generally dislike Canelo, but I call em as I see em, and it certainly ain't delusional. I think GGG, like many undefeated fighters before him who lose is the delusional one. To boot he got beat at his own "Mexican style" game. Now he's almost 40 and I think Canelo will beat him to hell, which is a shame given that he should've gotten the glory for the 1st fight. Maybe he'll prove me wrong and if so, he can call me a good boy, lol.

@@josephknecht4272 It's so sad that boxing judging has become such a joke. As I type this, it is only a couple of days after the latest bigtime robbery--Josh Taylor's "win" over Jack Catterall.
Wow my two favorite things... Foo Fighters and Boxing!! thanks Chris.
