This Renault Megane III GT has a 1.5 (1461 cc (89 cu in)) 4 Cylinder Diesel Turbo Engine with 110 (81 kW;108 hp) at 4000 rpm and 260Nm (192 lbf⋅ft) at 1750.
It is equipped with a 5-speed Manual driving the Front wheels.

I have this 1.5 Dci, 81kW, 240nm, engine in a Renault Fluence. You are driving a diesel engine incorrectly. If you kept the engine speed between 2000-3500 rpm, you would achieve acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 11 seconds. You can't rev a diesel above 4000 rpm because it loses torque.

Управляя автомобилем с дизельным двигателем нужно(уметь) максимально правильно утилизировать крутящий момент, а не максимальную мощность, по моим наблюдениям 80% водителей абсолютно НЕ умеют правильно ездить на дизеле. Одни гоняют его по принципу высокооборотистого бензинового двигателя, другие тошнят, как на тракторе на 1000...1500мин-1.
И да, дизель обычно но не силен в 0...100, это не его дисциплина. Дизеля прекрасны с точки зрения эластичности, подхвата, разгона с ходу.

same as in a megane II 1.5dci max is 177 but in perfect conditions and only on the highway you can reach 190 but from 175-190 it may take forever :)

This low speed is kinda strange. My grandma has the same car as a cabriolet and i did nearly run 230 with this one(of course it took a long time to get there xD)

leider hatten wir das auto nur geliehen und kenne mich bei Renault nicht so gut aus. Das navi war auf jeden fall das originale von Renault und ich gebe dir recht es lässt den innenraum modern wirken.

That is not 2009 model, its post facelift 2014 onwards. Its about the same top speed as mine 1.6 110hp coupe.

@@njabulomanukuza2228 hi, i am not aware of any problem since mine in 11 years had none, but like any other turbo car you have to be precise Whit the oil change, put It over the indicated could drawn the turbo and kill it, a mecanic at the 3rd control has done It to mine so be aware.
Consume wise Is not a thirty car in higway....i usually Whit the Cruise control at around 19-20 km/l on the Speed limit....in mixed around 11-12km/l....It Is not a city car Whit numerous stop and go you Will end up looking at really bad gas milage....and also It Is a sport car that tende to be fun to drive over the limit so then gas milage as all sporty car go out of the Windows....but the fun Is there.
The tires also are a bit expensive the 17" is a strange size so usually cost more then the 18".....
Apart from that Is a great car...try to get the 1.4 tce gt line.....or even the Monaco if you like the stile(the engine Is the same on both)...apart from the RS the 1.4 tce 131cv/96kw Is the best engine of this model and the following....
hab im modus auch n 1.5er .. leider getriebe bei 240k kaputt gegangen... nun fährt er 140max statt 160 max... 6. gang fehlt bei mir ... motor hat bock

This is definitely not a GT model, nor a GT line. Both GT and GT-Line have a red instrument panel, red dashboard accent, silver door mirrors and sporty front and rear bumpers with silver accents. The car you are driving in this video does not have any of the above characteristics.
Yes. Correct. But some of the gt lines does have a digital instrumental panel because they had some delivery problem at that thime. But you are right. This one is not a gt line

Falta muita coisa no carro! Exterior Patelas falta também rebaixar, nota-se carro derrapar como esta! No motor também precisa de uma pequena coisa tirar limitebreack ou colocar novo turbo 18 de preferência. eu faço 0 a 100 em 7 segundos a carrinha deixa de responder em altas apenas em baixas te dá mais combustão na saída da carrinha, sem falar que chega rápido a 150 160 a partir daí a carrinha se lança em depressão até dar 235 que demora cerca de 3 minutos até atingir essa marca...Ainda tens muito aprender antes de fazer esses exercícios sem aquecer a carrinha como pneus... Sem falar que a estrada está molhada não vale o risco 👌 fica a dica de quem ama esse carro! Meu modelo é megano3 bose edition 2014 1,5 110cv de momento está com 134 CV... Abraço #MEGADOAÇO!

Is this car good on curvey road? Is it stabile? I sold my a4 b8 and i am considering buying megane 3 1.9 dci with 4000 euro.. But i dont know how it drives and if that rear suspension is that bad.. Tnx

Well after B8 dont expect too much. But its not that bad, I have similar car only lowering springs and its not that bad on the curvy road :)
Hi, I recently bought 2009 1.5 dci 110 with 17" 205/50 low profile tires. And I must say it drives quite decent. The suspension in my opinion is in good shape so that helps for sure. The car is very stable in corners and in high speeds like 180mph. As for driving pleasure the weakest point is motor. : ) I also have 2.0 dci 150hp in Laguna 2 and it is vastly superior to 1.5dci. But megane is a car for my wife and children and high torque in 1.5 is still above necessary comparing to 1.6 petrol for example. : )
Megane gets quite noisy above 120 mph, soundproofing is lets say average at best, noticeably worse than Laguna 2/3 or Skoda Rapid 2019.
Well I really couldn't go with megane after that b8.. I liked the low consume on megane 3 but I bought a 2012 a4 b8 2.0 tdi 170 hp with b&o and sport interior. It drives so much better

I think the actual GT has 2 litre engine.
I think the 1.5 dCi engine will replace the 1.9 Tdi engine without any problems. It's a good engine. The only drawback I see is oil consumption ... my car takes 0.7 liters per 1000 km. I have another car - Renault Megane 1 - benzin 1.4 and the engine is excellent... For 15,000 km I don't have to add even 0.1 l of oil.
In Germany Renault does not have the strongest reputation but all models i have driven so fare are pretty good. do not forget they do share a lot of engines with mercedes so I am sure they know what they are doing
You have a problem with your car,it shouldn't use any oil let alone that much...
I have a Megane with this engine already 8 years. I have no oil consumption at all (even though I had this problem in my previous VW Golf 1.9 TDI). In my opinion 1.9 TDI 101 hp had more power than 1.5 dCi 110, but Renault has much better fuel consumption and the engine is more quiet.

In 5th gear this car accelerates good too you can go 200km+, but you do 191 in 5th gear🤐, not good man. Think about it.

Oui sur le moteur diesel, le couple diminue à un régime plus élevé. Mais en raison du rapport de démultiplication inférieur, sur la plupart des voitures, le couple de roue sera toujours plus élevé que dans le rapport suivant
