This film is stunningly unknown to everyone but within you are among the fan of Johnny, it is probably a must-watch film with some hilarious detailed scenes
I'm embarrassed to admit that my best friend and I used to watch this when we were 8 yrs old ( way too young) because Johnny was in it. Our obsession with him obviously knew no bounds
At 6:50 I always heard it that if you could see the whites all the way around the pupils, that meant the person is crazy. In any case, that is so true.
Thank you so much for reviewing this iconic sex comedy. It deserves to be historically preserved due to the enjoyable nude scenes of Johnny Depp and Rob Morrow. Please do movie reviews of ZAPPED, PARADISE and other similar films.
Yeah, I never understood how our culture went from government mandated no boobs in movies to as much boob as possible to stop showing so much boob. Tell ya what, you want equality, show more dongs. I'm fine with that. Hell, it's nothing I don't see everyday.
Yep. It was hard for us little twerps to admire the female form in its natural state back then. I already posted about it, so I'll paste in what I wrote. (I'm on a tablet. Ugh.) I grew up in the 80s (gragitated in 86) and pretty much every guy I knew thought like the characters in these movies. (Although, we never actually had the things that we saw on screen come true.) We were constantly trying to figure out how to sneak into R movies. When home video rentals became common, it was like mana from heaven for us. The only thing I regret is what many of us undoubtedly put women through when we tried to date them. Guys would just come on way too strong. Still, I wouldn't trade those memories for the world. Fortunately, I quickly grew out of that phase. However, I still fondly remember watching as many of those movies as we could. I think the last movie I saw in this vein was 2000s Road Trip. I haven't really watched any sex comedies after that. They're just not the same... :/
"Budget for one falling down sound" 🤣 (Insert Pink Panther fall down FX here) This guy is pure gold!! You need 10 million subs! You National Treasure, you! 😁
Dude, there's an entire genre of bad teenage sex romps that you can cover. For instance: going all the way, mischief, boarding school, private school, my tutor, private lessons, Porky's, the last American Virgin, zapped, sure thing, etc. There are about a hundred of these movies. But without these early to mid 80s movies we never would have had any of the John Hughes movies.
Well, sir, you have outdone yourself yet again! I grew up in the 80s (gragitated in 86) and pretty much every guy I knew thought like the characters in these movies. Lmao extended episode of Three’s Company. Maybe that’s why I liked it so much when I was a kid. And it was mostly censored to be shown on tv lol. Oh and this might answer your question about where’d they get the money to go on vacation. When it aired on TV, there was an extended intro where the two leads are eating cereal, called Horny Crunchies or some approximation, and in the box they win an all expenses paid trip to a resort. There’s even a scene where they hitchhike to the resort, or something similar on the side of the highway from what I can remember. We’re taking something from 30 years ago now.
Till this day, I wonder if anyone ever spoke to Johnny Deep about this movie lol I would love to hear his response. I'm sure he would spit out a lot of negativity about the film, I would love to hear his reasons. I love Deep. Great video, GBF! I look forward to every Monday! :)
A few years back, I dated a woman that was an extra in this movie. She was 17 at the time and one of the butts at the gym and around the pool. She said that there was a lot of coke =D
Hey my Man crazy times back then , did she say anything about the Girl playing ´´Patti´´ aka Emily Longstreth? I knew her and write something about her and any Information would be simply great. Thanks
Fun "before they were stars" fact, the crazy girl Shirley is Hilary Shepard who 90s kids may remember as Divatox from Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and the second half of Power Rangers Turbo.
I used to LOVE this movie, I was going thru puberty when this movie came out and if it was ti**y movie and it was made in the 80's I seen it...yrs ago before everyone had cable my uncle and his family just had HBO, a box on top of the TV, 1st you would turn to channel 3 and slide the lever over on the box and HBO played a lot of ti**y movies late at night and I would just spend the night over there to sneak up at night to see these movies... I remember seeing that chase scene in the hallway with Hector Elizondo chasing Depp and Rob Morrow when I was about 8 years old and thinking it was hilarious even then. That was about all I remembered from this movie for many years until finally seeing it again in my early 20's on cable. This movie is downright hilarious in parts and having Hilary Shepherd Turner of later Power Rangers fame in this doing nudity was an added bonus IMO.
It was a fun movie to watch when it was released because the type of situational comedy sets into. I understand why Depp wants to forget about this, though.
I was laughing through most of the review; you sir, have excellent taste in comedy :) Thank you for the awesome video! And, well, that's yet another movie I never heard about. Always nice to learn about stuff I missed out on.
You wanna know why Shirley is so crazy? Because she's actually Divatox from Power Rangers: Turbo. I'm not even kidding, that's Hilary Shepard Turner who later played Divatox in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and the latter half of Power Rangers: Turbo and Power Rangers in Space. 😏
Never try to understand 80s movies, just enjoy them.😃😄
You’ve given this movie so much more thought than the screenwriter did.
there was a screenwriter ?
@@andrewblanchard2398 well not sure about screenwriter but... There were 3 writers lol.

Same here xD
The only films we love when we're kids are the terrible ones!
Was it Johnny who led you to the introduction of exploring yourself physically?
Oh look a poor man's Johnny De... OMG it's him!
I think you're referring to Skeet Ulrich lol
@@chroniclesofalivingdeadgirl OMG you're so right lol!
The two dudes are obviously spoiled rich kids whose families are friends.
@Nectar Vam
True!
Definitely has those kinda vibes lol
0:49 The girl on the right is Eva La Rue and she was in CSI: Miami
Your right that is Eva La Rue... huh come to think it maybe she does not want anybody to know about this movie on her imdb.
@@lillianapacheco9155 She was in Barbarians as well.
@@jamminjohn oh thanks i know all ready GBF just release new review of barbarians movie.
Wow good catch
A must see before you die flick. Pure genius by the creator of this masterpiece.
Was that Ben guy Fleichman from Northern Exposure? I loved that show.
yes. Oddly he went from this to respectable doctor
Classic! The Dice man and Hector Elizando..too much. 👍👍👍
At 6:50 I always heard it that if you could see the whites all the way around the pupils, that meant the person is crazy. In any case, that is so true.
Yep, crazy
Private Resort isn't a movie that I would ever think to watch but it turns out I'll check anything that goodbadflicks does! Thanks guys!

I love this guy. My favorite yt channel.
Only halfway through and already I think this is possibly the funniest episode.
Love these movies. Thank you once again
damn Cecil! they should sell the Blu-ray with your commentaries on it.
It's funny to see how much nudity there was in 80's movies. Modern movies are very prudish by comparison.
Yeah, I never understood how our culture went from government mandated no boobs in movies to as much boob as possible to stop showing so much boob. Tell ya what, you want equality, show more dongs. I'm fine with that. Hell, it's nothing I don't see everyday.
It might have something to do with the availability of internet porn. Nudity is just a mouseclick away, so there's no need for it in movies anymore.

I always felt like Neighbors(2014) was what started the trend of films with male but no female nudity

Leslie Easterbrook. The hot blonde is Leslie Easterbrook.
Also, the California neighbor in Laverne and Shirley
Knowing what kind of person Johnny Depp is, i’m SHOCKED he agreed to do this movie 😂
Sadly johnny was broke at the time and needed the money 😅
all movie stars had to start somewhere
I just watched this two weeks ago. Used to watch this as a kid because it was one of the vhs tapes we had when we were overseas.

Johnny Depp, Rob Morrow, and Hector Elizondo in one film together
You really can't beat that lineup.
I still remember when I first saw this as a feature film on USA Up All Night
