Appreciate trying different configurations with trial and error when building in the case. Gives us a good idea how this case works along with issues we could have.
Saw this case come out , "cant wait for the prawn video", you never dissapoint sir and i just founnd your channel a week ago for all of my tech needs, especillay LIan Li Thank you sir !!!!!
I just picked this up today and swapped over my 011 vision to the vision compact...Key reason I did a change from the regular 011 vision to the compact was the size, I felt that the regular 011 vision had way too much space above the motherboard, it was empty space....also the AIO hose going through the back is so awesome, and just overall size that it takes on my desk.
That BTF build is gorgeous. Great video. Hugely helpful and has provided a load of value for my next (and final) build. I'm looking forward to the BTF Build detailed guide.
@@TheProvokedPrawn I'm torn between case selection presently but this case does stand out, especially with the clean finish in the BTF. I'm torn because of the limited options on the BTF motherboards and assuming I go for the 9800X3D, I'm going to need a BTF board that supports one. Case does look like it'll have ample space even for the biggest video cards.
Nice builds,i did a side mounted cooler in my 011 dynamic XL and brought a front mesh kit mounting x3 be quiet 140 pwm fans instead of the glass front and it looks pretty good and cools efficiently using less fans internally.
It's buying day and I'm still torn between the Vision or the Vision Compact. The only advantage I see in the compact is the ability to stow the AIO tube away better but I won't know for sure till build time. I'm leaning towards the regular Vision as I already have 3 140 fans ready.
Only problem i see is the same as the old o11 series with the width. On an rtx 4090 the connector will be touching and bending on the glass 24/7. You will need a 90 degree adapter to plug it without pushing against the glass and we all know how those connectors ended up failing left and right. The XL evo and the original vision offer 20mm more width which is ideal for putting the GPU horizontally. You can always mount it vertically but that is extra cost and compromises thermals since the GPU fans have very little clearance from the glass and limited air intake. If i were to go lian li for dual chamber i would either go the evo XL or full-sized vision if you plan for something like a 4090 or bigger GPU. For smaller GPUs anything will fit them.
There's just so much forehead to the case. I love the case, there's just so much dead space above the mobo. I've seen some people put a lcd screen above it, that's kind of the only way I could see myself use it
Can I put the Tryx panorama aio cooler water block into the hole at 19:42 ? The size of the water block including the display, is 115x92x92mm, and the size of the water block without the display is 70x90x96mm.
Hi Prawn, big fan of the channel. Will you be showing the new Lian Li "wireless" fans with setup for all necessary connections? Your how-to videos are a must watch and I'm waiting to watch it if it comes out.
would love to see how a lian li edge PSU would fit on the back, feel like it would complement the back connect support of the case. also for the 12vhpw would it make sense to route it from below BEFORE you install the motherboard? or would is still not fit? (forgot to appreciate how detailed this guide is)
@TheProvokedPrawn Does it comes with an ATX to SFX plate so you can mount SFX power supply? Guess you can otherwise buy 3rd party ATX to SFX bracket. Question regarding the shroud, if you remove it, is there something to hold up and take som load off the screws, or is it just screws that will hold it up?
@@TheProvokedPrawn whats holding up the PSU if you remove the shroud? Can only find info that you can remove the shroud, but no one tells/shows how the PSU is mounted without it.

Thanks for the great overview. Just one question. Do you have a link to the specific upright GPU mount that works with this case? I couldn't find anything on the Lian Li website that said which one was compatible with the vision compact. Thanks.
If I wanted to build in a small/medium sized case which is easier to build in and allow the better upgrading accessibility? This O11 compact or the H6 flow? I’m trying to choose between the two. They’re both really nice.
Can you adjust the motherboard tray to be higher like in the normal o11 vision? The top part gives the case a large forehead with the top glass panel on imo.

Would that reciever wire fit in and work with the pins on older fans like the sl infinty? Therefore, converting sl infinity fans into wireless signal sl infinity fans.
Could you do a push pull on radiator with only 4 fans. I wasn't going to purchase an extra 2 fans and was going to do a 1 push and 3 pull .is that possible or should i just buy 2 more fans?
how on earth did you get the lcd fans working properly while connecting to the corsair usb hub?? i have the exact usb hub and connecting LCD reverse blade fans to it ends up rendering the 3rd lcd screen unresponsive (unrecognizable) with L-connect...please tell me you have the solution! :D
Help i have everything ready to build in this case but the motherboard. Is there a decent btf amd board for the 9800x3d? or should i go with asus? has to be white what dop you reccomend? Only one i have seen is the aorus stealth ice. i have the same 4090 gpu and same fans. Thankyou
