I don't quite understand the prawn costume but you have an unmatched talent for showcasing PC products and builds. Its so difficult to capture the lighting effects of RGB with video and yet your videos literally look as though I'm in your room, viewing your build in person. Kudos to Lian Li for continuing their leading edge attention to detail, no one in the industry quite does it like they do either.
Thank you, Mr. Prawn. I have learned a lot by watching your videos. Just built an O11 Dynamic Evo after watching your many guides. Fantastic case, I would have gotten the Vision but I ordered the case before this came out.
Despite lacking space for fans Lian Li Vision Case has its appeal. Removable motherboard tray, separata HDD trays, easier way to mount power supply.... are just a few of them. And See Through from the top makes it all especially attractive ! Great new case for those who steer away from cooking high temperatures !
Losing top mounting is pretty major and only gaining a glass top? I guess it might be cool if your the kind of person that puts your case under your desk or something. I prefer my pc sitting on my desk in full view though. Either way, another great review Prawn. Not many people give us such detailed reviews. Thank you for all your hard work 😁
@TheProvokedPrawn after watching your video on the xl I bought it and im super happy with it. Though I have a pretty standard layout. I just lowered the mobo tray so I could fit 2 exhaust fans. It's a great case though
I'm thinking the black version with slightly tinted glass looks best here. It's what they used on the promo tour and I think that's for a reason. It just looks great in that spec
Awesome video, thank you! 9:45 great tip about the 240 radiator at the rear needing to flip the top PCIe bracket. In the "low" mobo position, would the graphics card use the top two PCIe brackets (which would include the one that's flipped over to accommodate the 240 radiator), or the 2nd and 3rd?
I'm sure if it sells well they will add a bigger one which would be far more practical, lovely case, looks good in Black as well but maybe a little bit of style over substance.
Love the overview and attention to detail. Your costume was the cherry on the top. First time watching because I was looking into getting the vision but wanted to checkout more Reviews. Subbed. Perhaps you can reposition your channel as The Provoked Tech Prawn.
@TheProvokedPrawn, for a mid-range CPU & GPU system like the one here with the fan configuration (3x120 bottom intake, 3x120 side intake, 2x120 rear exhaust which doubles as the AIO radiator) , how are the temps and airflow? Would the hot air from the GPU blowing into the radiator be small enough of an issue?
can be a alternative to the h9 or y60, but the airflow dosent look nearly as good which is why ill be choosing the y60 over this for my build. the inability to mount the rad at the top is also a shame
@@stokedGSXR I prefer the side panel of the y60 and the vertical gpu mount included. I bought a spectral white 7800xt with $60 shipping and $50 taxes for a reason
First of all i wanna thank you for all the guides and videos you have on your channel since im planning to build my first pc soon. im torn between the evo and vision case and since its not avalaible here yet i still have some time to choose :) i wanted to ask you about your opinion which case might be better for a first timer (im not planning on using super high end stuff so the cooling with a 2x120 rad and the other fans should be still plenty enough i guess also in the smaller vision case. also i was wondering if you can move around the front panel i/o of the vision case aswell similiar to the evo where you can put the i/o on the side of the case.
great informative video as always..... after the Computex reveal of this case I wanted one, I would have killed for one (not really ;) ), despite having just purchased the NV7, however... Lian-Li took far too long bringing this to market and in the time it took them, I have decided to stay with the NV7 (have put in the internal screen etc), but this informative review has confirmed to me that I made the right choice, thank you as always.....
I have a question? can i fit a gigabyte aorus master x670e 30.5mm in the Lian Li o11 vision case (28mm) case. Is over lap bad?! Any help would be great!
Definitely considering this beaut for my new build but I'm concerned about cooling due to the solid glass top panel, even though I'm planing aio liquid cooling and fans in the exact same config you've built here , however I'm slapping a 4080 super in too. How is yours performing, temp-wise and could you give your opinion on how this case would perform with slightly higher overall GPU temps?
I just got this case and have a 4080 in it, with 3 140mm Noctua fans blowing fresh air from the bottom to cool it down. Temps aren't amazing tbh, it sits at around 70°C while playing Helldivers and Cyberpunk (tbf I'm not running any fans over 60% to keep things relatively quiet)
@@Areyouduckingserious I only have a 12700k but put the new Arctic 360 AIO on it, so it's dead silent and during cinebench multicore it doesn't go over 65°C at around 20°C ambient. FYI I undervolted the CPU for better temps
Im stuck between getting this or the o11 RGB. I think this looks better but I'm planning to get a 4090 and 7950x3d, and im worried about the potential temp issues I could get if I picked the Vision over the RGB. Is it worth the risk? Would you recommend I go for the o11 RGB instead? The lack of top mount scares me even though it looks good...
I would like to know about the airflow with that case please with config -asus rog strix 4090 -i9 14900k Etc..im hesitating between the o11 vision and the o11d evo rgb and the nzxt h9 elite if someone can advice me about thank you guys 🙏🏼
If I was you with that setup I wouldn't go for the Vision. The airflow isn't as good. If you really want to. I'd suggest a 360mm rad on the side, with fans set to intake and the bottom fans as intake, then two 120mm fans on the rear as exhaust. Not ideal but better than the setup I used, because an i9 runs really hot.
So between the h9 elite u would choose the Lian li vision my set up don’t know which way to go I have 4080 graphics card ryzen 7800x3d cpu ? What case should I choose
