- It’s the second set of common problems a young city will soon encounter at some point in its development.
Solutions vary from city to city and will depend on a lot of factors such as road layout, zoning layout, population, etc. The solutions provided here are simplified and generalized but tested to provide relief. Hope these will help you too.

OMG THIS WAS SO HELPFUL
I can't believe the game didn't have a tutorial for this, or even mention what to do when these things happen.
Nice to hear that from you, Matthew. Thank you so much.

Thanks :)
theres an issue: 1. My citizens are sick because of water pollution, but I never place water towers on polluted area or place water pumps close to water pipe, I dont know how to fix it. Also, I use like eco water treatment plant(From Green Cities DLC)
Thx
An excellent guide as always! This information will be helpful for many people. I just add a small mention that if you plant trees next to fertile agricultural land, the resource strength will reduce with each one! So be careful if you detail with trees in a farming area!
Thank you. :) Thanks for that tip. That's a good point to mention.
thank you so so much i finally know how to fix not enough raw materials i thought i needed to import ore into it u just saved my economy
Always my pleasure. Thank you too. :)

Another bonus tip for the water pollution sickness. When in the pollution tab of the info tab the polluted pipes and towers will look brown too. It sometimes hard to see depending on your settings, but you can trace it back to the source. At least on my ps4
Thank you for sharing that tip. It will definitely help. Thanks for being here always. Cheers, mate!
Polluted water pumping station also turns brown, though the dirty water it is sucking in is more obvious.
Thanks! This video is the best one I've seen about the game!
@@karmafox508 Hey, thank you so much, appreciate that a lot 🥰
For the deadwave problem I usually put elder care facilities close to crematorium and burial places to make it speed along more , but the main problem here is that you grew the city too fast so they are all the same age lol 😆 anyway good guide , just wish we had more options for this game on console like more then 9 tiles would help alot because I'm always running out of space to meet the required populations to unlock all the buildings in the first place , any advice on this ? Because with only 9 tiles on console reaching the milestones is possible , but then keeping the traffic flow at the same time including having space for the last buildings is a challenge since you cannot fit a international airport in a full city that reached metropolis with only 9 tiles 😩
That's so true. I couldn't agree more. 😂 Thanks for the additional tip, surely it will be handy.
@@RickyKingPlays if you're bored look at my last night stream on my youtube channel , if you have any advice on this new city I gladly hear it 😉
@@JJJnl seen part of it. Will just continue if I have time. Nice channel thou. 👍
@@RickyKingPlays thank you for the compliment ) I will try and continue the city later today ) just need to figure out and think about a solution for not having available ocean connection for cargo harbors on this map and trains and highways are getting full lol 😀
I recently got back into Cities after taking a 2 year break. First city I made had a death wave of 9K, I thought something was in the water or I messed up something somewhere but no just.. 9K elderly all died and some probably moved out since the hearses couldn’t get to everyone.
You can't really do much when it happens, but increase the hearses and demolish the abandoned houses. Experienced that too. 😂
Excellent guide for console and even pc. Great job! #citiesskylines
Thank you, Josh. Sorry for the late reply. This comment was hidden by default because of the hashtag 😂
Hey there, There is also one more thing! If you have a warning saying Not Enough Raw Materials on a Processor Building but it’s not on a industry dlc then go to info views and go to outside connections and see what it needs
Thanks for this. I'll try it.
Import tab, to be specific.
Another great video!!!
Thanks a lot. Means a lot.
Great Video ! Lol I actually enjoy reading this 1 !
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. 😅
This tutorial will be a little helpful for me before buying the PS4 console and its games
That's great. Congratulations on your PS4. Hope you enjoy the games. Cheers!
Need more videos like this for consoles
Agree 👍. I will continue thinking of ideas and sharing videos that could help. Thank you, Zhan
Very informative video. And thanks for the help 😄
Happy to be of help. Thank you too :)
Hi, i have a problem with the Industries DLC. In the supply chain, we need workers of all levels of education. But, if i invest in my education system, my industries start to lose poor educated workers (and productivity). In vanilla factories, this problem can be sorted out by applying the 4.0 factories policy. But this does not work with the industries DLC. How can i solve this problem? Sorry about my bad English, i still learning, LoL.
Hi, Marcus. Educated cims can work in lower ranking jobs, unless they can find jobs somewhere else. If you have demand for green zone, increase your population, while stopping office and commercial zone. The idea is to force them to take available jobs in industry, whether they are educated or not. Btw, your English is perfectly fine. Cheers 🍻
Fantastic guide!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
"No enough educated workers" brought me here
Thanks for watching. Hope you find it helpful 😉
Your a life saver. know that
Wow! Glad to be of help. 😊
Thanks my City is saved i Had all Problems😅😅
Glad it helped. Thank you too 😊
I have a problem with not having enough fuel for my coal factories. Any help? I have searched the Internet but nothing has helped.
If you're using the base game coal plant, make sure your industrial area has ore deposits. The old coal and oil plant (may) function independently from industries dlc.
If i have only 2-5 dead bodys waiting for transport then im not experiencing death wave? Right?
Yes, you're right. That's normal.
I think you can make raw materials from Districts
I didn't get what you mean.
@@RickyKingPlays Might be referring to specialized zoned industries. Not Industries DLC.
I made a district for oil and placed industry's there. It's not building.
Check the zone demand bar. See if the yellow bar is high enough. Check also the road access to the area.
Is too few services same as Low land value
Yes. It will also show low land value when the building is already leveled up and there are few services.
Does water pipes cause water pollution ?
No, it does not.
@@RickyKingPlays Thanks
Bro my fertile land just desapier after a long time playing.
Fertile land will disappear when you plant trees on them. Unfortunately it will not come back even if you remove the trees.
@@RickyKingPlays uhum, got u. Thats what i did thx
Why is death wave too early?
how early?

how to fix about no fuel in power plants
They usually import the fuel (oil or coal), so it is best if you can place them near import hubs or highway entrances in your city. If you have Industries DLC have a warehouse for the supply and place them near the hubs/highway entrance. Also, see my video about Oil Industries or the Ore Industries to see how power plants interact with hubs and Industries. Hope this will help.
ah yes! Death wave! a nightmare for beginner even for veteran. Just avoid rapid expansion is the best tips. Similar happen In-Real-life, most major cities in Asia also experience death wave right after blooming Asian economy in 90-an.
It's amazing how CS can relate to real life situation. Thank you for watching :)
I liked your video first
