TikTok is fine but I really find most of the time I get notifications that are more timely here. I’m learning a lot more than I ever knew about polygamy. Even being kind of close to it, you all are sharing more than I would’ve expected, in time we’ll figure out your boundaries. I agree w that bc some of us don’t care to harm innocent people along the way, by exposing some of our close connections. We do appreciate both of you being honest and in the moment with your live video streaming ❤️.
I love the bagpipes, that would be great to hear. I am Scottish/Irish/English. Love listening to your show, you both are very funny and I love Corey's sarcasm. Someday I will actually catch one of your lives. 😊❣️❣️❣️
Used to work for a mortgage company that did B and C mortgages. I left the industry because of all the sleazy stuff going on. We adopted our daughter from China and she is now at UCLA nursing school. Love watching you both.
That was a great first live on RUclips. I watched the replay, clearly. I have been subbed to you since before you reached 100 subs and am very happy that your audience is expanding. Love from small town Pennsylvania! XO
So very happy you're on u tube! Also all the honesty about your family and up bringing. Cory loved how you called out Robin. The fact that the family was f ed.😅
I listened to Maddy's second episode abt bounderies. It was from a childs (now adult) perspective finding a healthy, happy, meaningful life. By setting bounderies for others but also thinking about when she oversteps. Most young adults have not gotten to that point yet or will ever. They believe/think/ARE fine? No need. She's doing the work trying to make sense of things. Raw. Both her & the co-host admitted to things, like feeling justified to hit hard, cross boundaries, when being in pain/feeling right (thereby being part of the problem). You look at others behavior & the smart/kind ones with integrity, look at themselves as well. The episode was authentic and prob more brave than they realize. They kind of showed who they are. How you deal with conflict and boundaries shows who you are. They are fine, imo. Maddie is one of the elder siblings. Her doing this introspection will benefit the family. She is trying to see her father as he is & finding her place. She didn't understand how "strange" her life was, until she left. I recommend the episode to those that are interested in consequences of polygamy & how some children try to make sense of things.🙏
The maintenance alone on that castle of theirs is gonna cost them an arm and a leg. Plus it’s the kind of house where you need hired help to keep it clean and orderly inside and outside. Can you imagine the taxes alone on that monster ? Robyn is not gonna clean that house, she likes to sleep in the morning. :-) maybe they won the lottery
Hello I'm not from polygamy but I've had three stepmothers and one stepfather I think when your family is dysfunctional it's dysfunctional. I learned the hard way no one wants to talk. Sometimes you don't even have anything mean to say. I hope this makes sense
Absolutely, trauma is trauma. Dysfunction is dysfunction. I don’t believe one persons is more valid than another’s. Our experiences are all truth for us. 🥰
Hi love your transistion to youtube, couple of question = has any of the browns or the producers of the show reached out to you either in a positive or negative way, question 2 the show "escaping polygami" how authentic do you think it was or dramatized for effect?? Thanks.
Melanie and Cory, Maddie just dropped some tea about corporal punishment and why she cut off Kody, he will lose his mind when he finds out what she said, she verified his abuse
@@gailsstarr 🤔 thank you for that feedback. We will check on our settings. It wasn’t a scheduled live just a quick figuring it out kind of thing. Thank you for been here 🥰
im just interested in the differences because my father was a non denominational paster and so i grew up in church most all my life we went wednesday and monday and sunday plus revivals and bible school etc.. as an adult now we dont attend due to the fact ive spent so much time in church it gets exausting and me and my husband are now disabled and me myself ive seen some ugly situations in church and i care not to be involved in that kind of drama .
Not fundamentalist Mormon or Mormon at all but born into polyamory with multiple mothers. Fascinating to me how similarly this all plays out, whether justified by religion or not. The men behave the same.
we have some people we know in LDS and are mormans id like to know if this in the new faith are the same thinking as the old except marrying more than one person ????

Oh! Such a good point about Ysabel. I didn't think about her witnessing Robin's ex being pushed out.
It happens so much in my experience.

I agree her courage is admirable for sure. This is why cult survivors have opportunities to help others by speaking out.

Yea I think we like RUclips Live way better than TikTok lives. We will be here more often now.
Yes!!! Please watch Big Love online! I have seen the series 3 times and would love to watch it with your perspective!!!
Where can you find Big Love online?
We are seriously considering it.
Happy to see you on RUclips …. As with the other older ladies I find TikTok hard to navigate

No one has reached out to us yet. Escaping Polygamy was canceled & I heard rumor it’s because it was to made up.

That doesn’t happen very often. If it does they are usually sealed to a man but that’s about it. I don’t know of any woman like that though.
