For anyone struggling with this, what you are counting is ‘activities’ with your buddy, not hearts. Keep earning more hearts with your buddy and you will see the Sylveon silhouette.
Still lost. Walked the 10k had eevee as buddy now and it still just had the question mark in the evolve and keeps giving me jolteon. So I'm curious. It I delete one will that reset the once per name evolve?

Is it possible to catch an eevee on that day to get last resort , unlock the second charged move than evolve it to get last resort and the new move at the same time ??
@@LuckyBunz I ask the in app support and this is what they answered . You will get the normal type move last resort. The move can be handy when Eevee evolve .

The level 42 requirement is to evolve Eevee into each of its unique forms. Would this be the optimal time to use the name trick? Or should I save it for something else?
I would recommend saving the name trick for when you get a 100% IV Eevee, or optimal PvP IVs. Even then though, the only Eeveelutions that rely on the RNG mechanic are the Kanto Eeveelutions.
Just wanna say umbreon is amazing in GL also. Super bulky. I have a 60% according to poke genie, so a very bad one, yet easily my mvp every time. Cheap and Easy to get you started in GL. Is it meta? I don't know, I'm just a casual player who aims to gain some fast/charged TM's, and it easily does the job for me with umbreon on the team.
I evolved every one of them with the name trick they were all 3 star eeve except sylveon :( its 2 stars i was at my village and desperate haha but it's still really strong got me many wins in rank fights , but i need to have a lucky one as well now that i have lucky eeve , thanks again

No that shouldn't make a difference, you can prep multiple Eevee.
You should see a silhouette of either Umbreon or Espeon if you did it correctly.

Nope. You will have to use an elite TM in order to get Last Resort. It's not available during this Community Day, only the new moves.

I think the recent update screwed up the names for evolution. I renamed one Eevee to Rea for Glaceon, but instead it gave me Vaporeon.

You can use it once per eeveelution, so you can use it once for Espeon and Umbreon

can event eevees be evolved? cause i know some cannot be evolved when they have the event hat on. and i cant seem to evolve any of my eevees
Certain costumed Eevee can evolve, but the most recent one I think you are referring too from the 8th Anniversary event can't be evolved
