- Welcome everyone. Today we visit the town of Niagara On The Lake.
We start our tour with the views on my drive on the way to the historical town of Niagara On The Lake Canada.
Starting on Lakeshore Rd and driving down Shakespeare Avenue. You’ll see the oldest golf course in North America as we drive into the town on Queen street.
We briefly stop in at the Pillar & Post Gardens.
We walk thru Simcoe Park and then walk along the shops on the main Street. We go look inside the candy store.
We walk to Queens Royal Park and enjoy the amazing scenery at the waterfront. We end the walk overlooking the view of Lake Ontario.

Niagara on The Lake is just a lovely beautiful place, if I knew how to drive I would be there all the time! I hope The Town Niagara adds a bus route to get there easier. Thanks for the tour, nice to see it through your eyes 😊

Finally I sit down to watch this Chris ! That was a nice scenic drive and lovely music, nice place to hike to the wineries :) I liked the park with all of the pathways, trees and pond area, and thats a great place for a wedding . There are some lovely shops around and I could hear the birds singing near those lovely houses. The mansion would be good to rent :) i really loved the park with the beach / lake area too and it looks really popular. Thanks for the lovely tour, have a great week :) ~ Anna 👍❤️

Sorry Christine, didn’t drop a comment at the end, we loved this relaxed ride through suburban areas with summer in full bloom, people tending their gardens and then the lovely views of the Lake. So much to do either walking, golfing or just taking in those spectacular views. Lovely walk into town from where you parked. Great parking tips even though you paid $5! The park was lovely even with all the sun worshipers! Love all the unique retailers, its great that Niagra has so many. Lovely views over to the States! Great video ❤

That tree growing so close to the house, is a lightning rod problem, LOL. Nice to see they kept it, but I would be concerned. Very cool park and golf course right next to the road. It is sad that some towns/cities feel like they need to charge crazy parking fees so they keep the riffraff out. They do that on our beaches here too, but the more popular are much more expensive than $5 an hour. IceWine? That is a new one on me. Bugatti is a very cheap Italian car....................LOL. Gold Mine Bubble gum nuggets, yes a favorite. Nice tulips! Rock skipping brings me back to my youth.....Very nice tour Christine, thanks for taking us along your beautiful day.
Hi Darren & Becky. Thank you so much. The tree next to the house has been there for many years as you can see. Yes parking is pricey here, you can find free parking but not much and it gets taken so quickly. Ice wine is very popular and Canada is one of the largest producers of it. They have some of the finest here in Niagara on the Lake but it’s more expensive than your bottle of regular wine. Rock skipping if fun lol. Thanks for coming along for the walk. I always take Shakespeare ave. as well but I'm usually coming the other way. Ryerson Park is nice, also free parking if you can get a spot. I love that house at 4:52 min in. I've never been to the gardens at the Pillar and Post. There's free parking on Byron St. behind Simcoe Park if you can find a spot. I'd love to see inside the dead zone house. OK I'm going to stop commenting and watch the rest lol. I love that candy shop! That's where I got the worlds hottest lollipop (Satans Toe right beside the gummy bear lol) for my video. I have never seen busking in Niagara on the Lake before, that is a first. I love that the older houses have plaques with the dates they were built. Thank you for the great video Christine!
Hi Adam. Thanks so much. This must be the longest comment you’ve ever made lol. Yes there’s a whole 3 or 4 spots to park next to Ryerson Park. The woman playing the instrument on the street was very friendly and we chatted for a few minutes. I’m definitely going back to the candy shop for some junk. I thought that was where you got the burning lollipop. I was a great day and a very busy one in Niagara on the Lake. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😊👣🇨🇦

Thanks for another fun and relaxing video! I never spend enough time in NOTL. I was only there for less than half an hour on my last day, just to buy a couple jars of jelly at Greave's and some Empire Biscuits at the bakery. I didn't even walk around the gazebo like I normally do. Just did a drive by for the obligatory picture out my window, lol. Next visit I'll have to spend more time in NOTL and check out that candy store w/video games and I need to walk around the garden by the Pillar & Post. Lol, I wonder who put the alien head on that fountain and how long it will stay there.

At least you got to stop in the town before you left for home and picked up some nice jam and treats to take with you.
