After watching this I'd be inclined to agree, but not my style. Maybe in a couple of years. Amazing tone tho. Kind of reminds me of the station wagon with the twin turbo.
theyre incredible. a must. probably the coolest electric guitars around, and the most unique. everything they make is a piece of art, and they feel so good.
Why are your videos so good? Rob, your humour sets you apart and your honesty puts you head and shoulders above the crowd. Long may you live and make videos for us.
I have a Reverend Sensei Jr. in korina with a single p90 style pickup and it is absolutely fabulous. Punches WAY above it's price range. Feels like I'm playing a guitar 3 or 4 times the price.
I added a Reverend to my stable. She has 2 P90 style pickups and a fabulous neck. Beautiful in looks and sound from moment 1. A stunning blonde to boot. Lily.
I have a Reverend and a Chapman. Love them both. Both have had more thought put into them than the must-have brands and I appreciate that. That gives them an edge in how they feel and play. Detox your must-have brand obsession and give them a go
Chappers’ look at 5:00 tells me all I need to know. Edited to add after finishing the whole video: I have a Reverend Sensi Jr. I have always loved Chapman’s sense of humor… sorry, humour (I’m a Yank). But this video alone has made me want to look for the right Chapman to compliment it. Well done Rob!
Reverend are really cool guitars. I have the Reeves Gabrells that I bought second hand just because I liked the look. Now it's my favorite guitar and I am really thinking in buying a Eastsider Custom
Have a Reeves Gabrels Dirtbike, and I enjoy the railhammer pickup. It only has a bridge pickup, but with the controls, I can pull nearly every sound I need.
Years ago my daughter bought a Reverend Charger HB, and it surprised the hell out of me how amazing it felt and played. I’d never heard of the brand. I then discovered the Billy Corgan model, which was my first Reverend, and recently got the Drop Z Corgan. It is so sweet!!! Thick tone, tuned to drop C, same smooth playing fret board, 24 frets, and the scale length is only 3/4 of an inch longer so you really don’t even notice it. The pictures online don’t do it justice. I highly recommend trying one out should you get the chance. Awesome and fun video, new sub here 👍
I love Reverend instruments. I had the reverend triad bass and it could do damn near anything. But i downsized my collection in order to buy a spector euro. All in all, reverend kicks ASS
I own a limited edition Sensei from Reverend, even have the tuxedo case. It is one of the best guitars I have ever owned and though I have not yet purchased a guitar from Chapman I'm sure it would be a very nice addition to my collection. Side Note: Reverend Guitars was started less than 2 miles from my house in the back room of Joe's Music.
Thanks for the humor. It does look like a great guitar. I think that they could update the heel joint to be more modern with all of their set neck designs. Even Fender is finally making their bolt on necks more comfortable these days. Reverend should too.
@@JeffStarr Talked with Ken at earthquaker day out here in Ohio and told him I was looking at an airsonic. He told me that it's secretly his favorite model of all of them. I bought one and have to say, he's absolutely right. It is fantastic.
@@patricktracy1966 I have a crosscut with the clean cuts great pickups. I like the heavy 90 a bit more in my airsonic but they are all solid in their own ways.
That guitar sounds incredible I was thinking about getting a Z One now I may have to take a look at this Sensi Guitar great video Rob I luv how you gave all the credit to the Amp lol.
There are 2 approaches for selecting a Hawaiian shirt: the tasteful fashion sense approach, and the Correct Approach. I'm pleased to see someone else who favors the latter.
Korina tone wood, roasted maple neck, bass contour, custom pickups, and on my Double Agent OG, a triple tree eliminating G sting buzz... What's not to like? Hands down one of the most underrated guitar manufacturers.
love the schtick lol. I've been gigging a reverend six gun really hard for about a year now (hum in the bridge, 2 p90s, floating trem) and I've absolutely loved the way it plays and sounds. The only issue I've had with it is that I'm breaking a ton of strings on it. I know the bridge has got a burr or sharp edge somewhere and despite my attemps to sand down the contact points I'm breaking strings on that thing every other show if I dont string change every time, which I do now, and sometimes I break them even still. I wonder if anyone else is having this problem with wilks from reverend or similar guitars. Advice anybody? Rob? lol
I have 2 Reverend guitars! Charger HB in Violin brown, and Jetstream 390 in Korina Burst. I've love both of them and even acoustically the guitar resonates so well! The guitars are not too expensive either, and it sounds inspiring/versatile workhorse guitar for me.
Thank you so much for the straight-faced sarcasm 😅 Made my day. Reverends are awesome - I don't have one yet but some day I will. It is hard to pick just one from their extensive catalogue.
I have regained some respect for Rob. Great humor! I always had respect for his hands, though. Beautiful music in every vid. So glad he made this video. I wanted so much to like you again. I am there.
Really neat bit of jazz playing there, it was fun! That guitar through that little amp sounded so much better than I expected it could. No way you could keep such a RED guitar around...send it my way, It deserves a home in the States.
Missed opportunity: "There are four knobs, Ken is the fourth."

Brill!! Lol
This humor isn’t just dry, it’s completely dehydrated!
😂
If I didn't know better I'd say chappers was being a jerk-y.
I taste freezer burn in this comment.
The demo using clean tones was the best I've heard Rob Chapman play. Now you know how I feel.
😂 NICE!
@@Pop_Hockenbush It's a joke. It's sarcasm all the way through. Woosh.
Rob's playing is usually generic metal shit......but i love his videos and personality and think he's a funny guy. Cheers Rob.
Reverend makes some of the best instruments in the business. Everyone needs to have at least one.

The first passive aggressive guitar review in history. The start of a trend I'm sure
The Wampler-Scott feud in the pedal world will never be topped. What other feud has each party sending the other party angry bees in a box?
Maybe if you only watch this hack it is. 🤦
Because it's far from the 1st. Smdh. You Chapman nut huggers are a trip.
I stand by my comment regarding Ken‘s beard
Savage lol
😂😂😂😂
Said Beard wooed Billy Corgan though. 😉
@DevilsAvocado69😂
And his knob?
It’s fun to see Chappers having fun making a video. Can only imagine him laughing in the editing suite, good to see him happy and having fun.
Laughed all the way through. We know you wouldn't ever just slag off a rival company's gear. Lots of fun 😂😂🎸🎸🤘

5 seconds for me

This is great, lol. You know me, who loves both you and Ken….hence why every show and recording is always a Chapman & reverend 😘

This was glorious, I hope Ken got as big a kick out of it as some of us have.
"Ken sent me", now that's a blast from the past 😂
This is an absolute masterclass in how to deliver a review for a rival guitar company who has sent you a gift. Just stellar!
been playing reverends for about 5 years now and i love them to bits
the Brits apparently also invented ultra dry sarcastic wit. Well done Chappers!
This is truly the most sarcastic guitar review of all time 🤣
Reeves Gabrel is my only draw to the Rev brand - his playing and tone is unique and beautifully unhinged

Love the Reverend Sensei, looking to get one in the next year
This is the most reverend review of a reverend ive ever seen. Cheers Chappers!
Reminds me of the Yamaha SC 1200 Colin Hay plays in his band . Men at work 😊
Rob you are such a lovely guy in a very difficult world right now. Thank you so much.
Love the bass cut control on Reverend guitars. Ive never needed to cut the top end, but do like the idea of cleaning up a muddy bottom end 😁
"Siri add some gain" ROFLMAO! I would love to see a reaction video from Ken to see how long it takes him to break out in laughter
It’s like an ES335 and an SG had an illegitimate offset love child. Love the body shape.
I find it appealing in a way to me that the SG just isn’t.
That is rather lovely - so many original designs and variations these days but I love Reverend's vibe.
I have two Sensei’s!…my favorite guitars in my collection!
Wow it sounds amazing excellent playing Mr Chapman
And just like that, after months and months, Rob Chapman starts showing up in my data feed again. Welcome back!
PS I like the shirt.

Quite generous of Ken, but he can never compete with gammon who had dreadlocks.
