The Axion XQ38 doesn't feature a laser rangefinder, model XQ38 LRF does. If you've got that model, simply turn the device ON by pressing ON/OFF button and press the DOWN button to activate the rangefinder. Then press the DOWN button again when you're pointing at the target and the measurement will appear on the screen.
@@OpticsTradeEU my friend is considering buying the Axion Xm22, because it’s a £1000 cheaper, what would your advice be? Is it a good move or would he regret it?
would be nice to illustrate the technicalities discussed with some pictures...
Do your research. You just stated (3:16) the XM30 has a 30mm dia lens. Its NOT. Its 24mm, the lens has a 30mm focal length!!
Thank you so much for the good description. A short summary of pros/cons in table form would be great. Keep up the good work!
We're glad you liked it! And thank you for your input!

I have just purchased the axion XQ38, please show how to to operate the range finder in it? I can’t see the target distance

Can't find any vids with the axion 38 lrf in use
That's because Axion XQ38 with laser rangefinder isn't capable of recording videos or capturing images.
