Very nice. This is making me look deeper into my everyday life and my values and morals. Like what I should really appreciate and what happens everyday that goes unnoticed and unappreciated.
I've been consistently aware of the present moment for about 6-8 years now and although I do find that my cognitive ability is far greater than those around me... there is still MUCH more that must be done before reaching enlightenment. Present moment awareness is great, but it's not everything. This song is really interesting... too bad that they didn't explode into some heavily distorted riffage at some point.
really an enchanting mix of these instruments!! the video ...simple and complex at the same time...at least the way i see it ... and the german description for the parts of the bodies? - maybe an allusion to the german habit to order everything?
Lovely work on the video. Influenced by Rob Schrab (DC4C's Crooked Teeth) perhaps? Intriguing track - nice instrumental colors with the harmonica, etc.
what i think it means is that the robot was reading "Understanding Man" and he saw what man was all about, decided he did'nt want any part of it, and went back to his roots...his robot roots.
this is pretty cool, i liked the song and the video as well, i particularly like the darker broody parts of the song, was really expecting some vocals to kick in, cool none the less however.
Good analogy for the mechanical state some people live in, working a job they don't like, coming home and living a family life they don't appreciate, living in a state of getting by, because our surroundings and experience indicate it's what we should be doing. The Robot looks to the bible/universe for answers and realizes that the answers are within. Nice work my dude, God Bless.
The audio sounds like it's from a band called 'The Dirty Three' - am I right? - good vid anyway, represents our western society in a 4 AD kind of way :0)
fantastic song. just bought their newest CD, blew my mind!!! If you like this stuff check out my friends new page, OfaStarMusic. Lots of influences come from groups like this, so you might like it. Support your local basement artists!!!
I have the idea that the robot is sad, and he thinks he has a better life if he would've been a man. that's just a guess guys, so don't be mad at me if it isn't true.
this is beautiful. The sorrowful music was perfectly suited for such a deep video. One of my new favorites. Great job
Beautiful story to accompany the lovely music and wonderfully realized by the talented director du jour. Congrats on the feature, it's well deserved.
