i was in the us for a couple weeks and i literally lived at yarn stores😭
I’m also from the uk we do have a shop near me that sells yarn but it is only 2 small isles 😢
I made a huge oversized cardigan with the Jumbo Twisted Tones in that fun Teal/orange-y almost Rooster colors yarn! It was awesome to work with and feels great. Also keeps ya super warm.

i watched a bunch of these videos while i was crocheting during a layover in the denver airport a couple days ago and i just picked up some k & c while i was at joann's getting the yarn to finish my airport project! so excited to start using it :))

I do love me some K & C Essential Cotton! It’s my fav cotton for sure and I have quite the stockpile, lol.

I am using the Loops and Threads Heathered Tweed rn to make a raglan sweater and so far I am loving it! I already knitted a winter hat out of it last week and it turned out really well!

I love truboo and nuboo!! It just splits a ton but the texture is great!

KC cotton is one of my favorite yarns I’ve ever used. I’ve made a tank and puff sleeve top with it! I’m currently finishing up a baby blanket with it and have a cardigan quantity queued up for my next project. It’s so soft and doesn’t split while working with it like other cottons.
I haven’t been to Michael’s in a long time because I don’t live near one anymore but I’m gonna need to make a trip for that tweed !

i made a bag for my sister with the twisted tones yar and it came out so cute and chunky looking but it did make my hands cramp a little bit when i was working with it.
The pros and cons of the chunky yarn, works quick but my thumbs cramp 😂😂
omg i made a shawl from the luxe merino yarn and my GOD it’s a dream to work with, i love that yarn so much, it’s so lovely

@@itserinb yeah! i’ve never used wool (i’m only a year into my crochet journey) but i’ve heard it can be scratchy but this was amazingly smooth and washed super well

IMO it’s very pretty but the single ply is begging for disaster and fleecing. Worried it won’t be very durable long terms but their colors are gorg!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a yarn that I could make a granny square cross body bag with that will last? I want to make one for my mom and she works in a nursery so dirt gets EVERYWHERE. i want it to last getting washed quite often and don’t care if it needs to be on the more rough side in terms of texture.
First thing that comes to mind is literally the K&c essential cotton, or the Caron cotton cakes!
