Me as a kid: I can't finish some of my favorite NES games Me as an adult: Time to watch my favorite NES games playthrough in RUclips to see the ending and pretending to be the player
+Islam Barakat games like Contra or MGS had very good graphics for their times, imagination did the rest. Thing is, games were harder but more rewarding. Free roam gives you freedom but also makes the game slower. Also we could finish a game in two hours or less if not for the difficulty, and almost everything was new back then. There still are good games nowadays, the thing is, there is a lot of shit made purely for profit, especially the mobile, games come out unpatched and shit like dlc ruins it.
draconpost Yeah bro. I totally agree with you... Like EA releasing Battlefield 4 unfinished. You couldnt even play it for a minute due to bugs, glitches, netcode.. etc... It was in a state less than Beta. And they just released it. Monthes later they released a 2 GB update that actually fixed the game... It's all money grab
+Islam Barakat yeah, the thing is people wont decline it because they know it will eventually get patched, but it's like paying for a new car and getting it with no bumpers and doors because those will be available later. The game may be fixed but the aftertaste is left, same with dlc, the games feel unfinished because of this.
Battletoads was by far the most technically advanced game for this generation. Enjoyed TMNT 1. Mega man difficulty in those days can be compared to today's souls games.

NES ice hockey 4 fat guys so much fun. I have a retro system both my boys love to play this over PS4 or Xbox One. Remember when games were fun and you needed to actually have friends over to play. Good times man.
does anyine know what game had a power up that make it so like you have another you top of your shoulder and had to fight a boss that heal himself? i remember i always died there aster like 10 minutes of fighting that boss.
fighting game with small dudes chinese/japanese like, elvis presley hairstyle, can be played with 2 or 4 players i dont remember that one but you kept fighting dudes thats all i remember.
I played them all, at some point there were cartridges with hundreds of games in it that came on the market, not sure they were legal though, they even had Japanese games in them.
Trying to remember a game. Was like Wizards and Warriors but there were these skeleton guys with hoodies and axes and each time you got close to them their heads would go crazy and the music would change suddenly. Been driving me nuts.
Man, I remember playing this game on a laptop-like CD player with a controller. And I have this CD colored blue with 2 stars, and as far as I remember there is text there and I think it says NES. Unfortunately, that CD is over-scratched already and can't be read, so we bought a new CD that is colored silver, and I think it also says NES. Man, after years of not playing it I found it again and knew what kind of system I'm playing that time. I think I was playing those games from 2011 - 2013 until my laptop-like CD player broke from being borrowed by the school for practice. Now, the good thing about this is that we still have the CD so we can still play it, as soon as we get to buy another CD player. I remember playing these games: 1. Elevator Action 2. Burgertime 3. Mario Games 4. Contra 5. Blades of Steel 6. Ice Hockey 7. Loderunner 8. Clu Clu Land 9. Donkey Konds 10. Adventure Island 11. Hogan's Alley (But didn't play much cause I am confused that time) 12. Golf (Also didn't play much) 13. Double Dribble (Played by my older cousin) 14. Paperboy 15. Bump n' Jump 16. Karate Chump 17. Spy Hunters 18. Ikari Warriors 19. Kung Fu 20. Galaga (Played it once, but, still I played it) 21. Joust 22. Adventures of Lolo 23. Ice Climber 24. 1942 25. The Legend of Kage 26. Commando 27. Pro Wrestling 28. Jackal 29. Gun Smoke 30. Rush and Attack 31. Balloon Fight 32. Arkanoid 33. Bomberman 34. Tetris 35. Metal Gear 36. Kirby's Adventure 37. Megaman Man, I miss these old games. It does have those low graphics, but it's sure great fun! Just like Islam Barakat said. Well, those times the graphics really do looks great, because of course, no one has still made game graphics that time like today. But in present, the game graphics of these games look bad, even if we told ourselves in the past that the graphics are great. But the graphics don't really matter, what matter is the gameplay, and how great the game is. Man, some crazy gamers of today that play those realistic graphics games told me these games are trash, yeah, the graphics are bad, but the gameplay is great. Them? The graphic is great but the gameplay, I'm not even going to say it.
Who is here to find that game which you played as a kid but could't remember its name ?

I remember playing these games:
1. Elevator Action
2. Burgertime
3. Mario Games
4. Contra
5. Blades of Steel
6. Ice Hockey

14. Paperboy
15. Bump n' Jump
16. Karate Chump

20. Galaga (Played it once, but, still I played it)

Man, I miss these old games.
How many just called it video game :)
