You can get a similar effect by using dish soap on a pre painted body, then spray over it in a different colour and wash it off when the paint has dried, my best paint job was to lay the base out in several random colours then use the dish soap followed by the top coat.
I've been thinking that this is an obvious collab. Bald needs his own Lada to drive around in. It would need to be all original Soviet mechanically with only cosmetic mods.

Very specific, and never done to those cars. Within a week, 3 people were doing it, and youtube had an algorithm up tick in classic rag Top cars like VWs etc...
They are using PF115 paint, i think is cheapest available, smell awful but dry suitable fast and is not water but solvent based. And fades fast if see any sun...
Could of started on the lower corners where little paint would make it on with the shotgun method. Or high release compressed air. Just shallow pan the paint and blast it onto your canvas.
Next time hang the lada from the cable and swing it around while the paint (spray cans I guess) stay stationary. Get 5 or 6 colours going at the same time. I'm sure there is a spare crane laying around you could use. lol
In scandinavia it is a normal sight to see cradles, in witch the car can be turned on to their side, for rustrepairs. It would have been a cool idea to flip the car sideways, instead of flipping the doors. ;)
Hey Garage 54 here is an idea for a fun video. machine a crank and a cam out of aluminum. make the connecting rods out of steel. replacing the aluminum pistons with steel pistons would add extra enjoyment to the video! replace push rods with aluminum not copper, copper push rods bends to easy. lead wrist pins is a must in this engine. replace ALL heat treated bolts(crank, cam, main, flywheel and so on) with regular bolts. add 1 extra flywheel to this engine, I know you have plenty of flywheels! do not replace the oil with liquid nitrogen, it won't last long! anyway, all of your videos are great.

i have a ford ranger that has been beaten by jobsites for years, this might just be the perfect facelift for mine. time to build a frame to hang a jug from and buy some plastic to protect the driveway.
