Did anyone else hold their breath as Fred attached that last tile? Also, I love the moment at 58:57 when one of the other guys put Fred's face shield down for him, showing how much these guys look out for each other.

Impressive how Ross and the rest of the team managed to keep such a heavy piece so controlled. That said, I would suggest using some kind of bracing (e.g. specific-length cast glass rods) to maintain the structural integrity of the shape while hot; the final result isn't perfectly symmetrical. It's a fantastic idea, and cool process for making a shape. Never seen anything quite like it.
