  • Spicy Duck Salad | So EASY Anyone Can Make It, EVEN YOU!!!!
    This is one of those flexible dishes that can be easily adapted and adjusted, you can make the sauce and use it with different proteins at the same time. You can make a seafood version or beef, or duck like we're doing here which is called YUM PHET YANG. Quick to cook, easy to cook, has infinite number of combinations.

    Here's the recipe:
    400g Fresh duck breast
    Quarter Tbsp MSG
    Salt and pepper
    11 birds eye chilli (mixture of green and red)
    2 Tbsp palm sugar
    2 limes
    Pinch of salt
    6x Cherry tomato
    3 Tbsp fish sauce
    Sliced spring onion and coriander to decorate
    Sliced red and green peppers
    Half sliced celery
    Half white onion sliced
    Mint
    As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
    If you want to make it spicier then toast birds eye chillies instead of large sweet chilli.

    Chef Tou looks much younger than 65 and she is beautiful. I will make this recipe for my guests this weekend. How do you cook the duck breast? Is it medium or high heat? Thank you!!! ❤

      Chef Tou is falling in love with you after saying that she looks younger than 65, a medium heat for the duck breast, but it also depends how pink you want it inside, but start of medium as you don't want to burn the outside.

      You could give it a go, although chicken breast will be very dry, something with more fat like beef or pork. Or you could use grilled chicken thighs or legs they'd be a viable option. Or seafood is a great option.
